I stopped here to have the propane tank filled in my RV. I waited outside 10 minutes after ringing the bell by the propane station. I then went inside and waited another 10 minutes while the employee behind the counter finished with a customer. I then asked if anybody was working the propane station or if I had to wait for him. He went and got another employee a.k.a. the “manager”. The manager stated he’s on a time crunch and doesn’t want to do propane filling right now. I explained there was another propane station I could have gone to and made it there before they closed. Instead I went to this place (which was closer to me) and wasted 30 minutes. No wonder this place is rated a 3.0 on Google. Poor employees equals poor customer service equals poor reviews. Realistically how long would it have taken to fill a propane tank on an RV? Five minutes tops, I’ve have this tank filled on a regular basis at several place and it takes very little time. Or at the very least acknowledge me before I’m there 20 minutes after you know I have my RV at the propane station and tell me immediately that you’re not wanting to fill propane tanks at the moment, don’t waste my time.

I would give zero stars if that was possible. Amber, the incompetent and rude receptionist needs to find another gig. Amber has zero customer service skills. She was making a personal phone call, ironically, when I walked in for my 11am appointment. She allowed me to stand in front of her while she made her call to let her caller know that they were plastered all over the reviews for bad service.When she completed her phone call, she did not have the decency to even look me in the eyes when she asked me, “can I help you?“ With an obnoxious tone to her voice like I am there inconveniencing her personal phone call.When I tell her I am arrived for my appointment to get my hitch installed she abruptly says no one’s here to do your hitch. I said ironically you are going to get bad reviews for the service and I called her name and she said you can leave my store. I did inquire and Amber does not own the store

Wow as a VALUABLE customer I have never been so disrespected in my entire life! Looking for a swift and low stress resource to smoothly move, but unfortunately the complete opposite occurred.First the email I recieved directed me to a random gas station which I was never informed of, the # in the email was also for that gas station, which were clueless and rude. Automatically full of concern that I was a victim of identity theft, I immediately called 911, the officer directed me to the actual address somehow which was nowhere in the email.Once I arrived, the truck I ordered wasnt available, gave me a different truck after wasting my VALUABLE time. Returned the truck the next day, asked to speak to the manager due to the HUGE INCONVENIENCE(6-7 CRUCIAL hours wasted in total).The low class, uncivilized staff walked away from their plexi glass counter(FOR COVID PROTECTION) and proceeded into my face. I attempted to unlock my phone to take video evidence of this unprofessional act, but the employee smacked my expensive($2000) phone out of my hands!My highly aggressive and sharp lawyers are currently investigating this FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY AND DISTURBINGLY UNETHICAL CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. RATING=TRASH. Not even one star, AVOID AT ALL COSTS UNLESS YOU ENJOY UNNECESSARY STRESS!

Very beat up trucks. Took 3 attempts to start it off the lot and in response to this concern, the staff said It should be fine. Didnt even offer me a different truck.

Returned truck next day after renting it & put keys in drop box. called in the evening after they haven been open for hours to confirm return and was told they don’t have the truck and it was never returned. This is putting a hold on my money and potentially can be charged a late for because they haven’t checked in truck. Anne when called about truck was told over the phone I have actual customers in the store to help I don’t have time to talk to you about this. Wow some customer service. Won’t be using this location again. Keep up the great work ladies!

Trailer hitch install. My first appointment was made like a week ago, I dropped off the car and was called an hour later saying they didnt have the parts. Then, today I drop the car off and get a text that its ready. As I approached the car I see cut wires under the car from my underglow lights. The manager Joe said, oh yeah he had to disconnect that to install and couldnt figure out what wire fo back then I notice the massive dent in my car. I go inside and made Joe come look at it. He walked right up to it without me pointing it out as if he already knew that it happened, but did not tell me about either issue. This is the absolute worst customer service experience I have ever dealt with.

Super disappointed in this place. Reserved a 20 truck weeks in advance. Showed up at the scheduled time and as we pulled into the parking lot, they called to tell us they didnt have the truck.The blame was put on corporate scheduling and USPS taking their trucks (not sure why that is a reason not to provide a scheduled, reserved truck but whatever).After we prompted them to help correct it, they found an available truck 10 miles away and made no effort toward apology or offering, I dont know... additional mileage or fuel credit maybe?Just zero accountability or responsibility, completing defeating the purpose of planning ahead and making a reservation, plus not even notifying us until the moment of pickup.I just want to point out, I am a high level Google local reviewer and almost never post negative reviews, so just consider that before you schedule here.One last note: U-Haul Clearwater, on Missouri road, had a truck available and saved the day on behalf of the incompetent U-Haul we started with. They were also exceptionally helpful and professional.

DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION... They only have a couple beat up trucks here but the worst part is the customer service. Not only are this disorganized but the customer service is horrible. I had to rent a truck last minute so I was forced to make do with the clearly wrecked truck they rented me. I informed Renee that I was not sure when I would be returning the truck and that I was fine with her calling me to communicate the return of the truck to which I was assured that was fine. I returned the truck after hours (in a much cleaner condition than I received it in) on Saturday and called first thing Monday morning to square up with Uhaul. However, when Renee answered the phone she immediately became disrespectful to me, claiming that I was dishonest with her and that she already sent me to collections. I requested to speak to her boss and asked her for her ID # to which she hung up the phone on me... Thanks Renee. I appreciate the negative energy and disrespect for no reason

Never again will I use U-Haul to order or install a Trailer Hitch. Called, Jan 11th, 2021 they had to order one for my Mazda 3. The day came of my appointment which they scheduled when I placed the order ( Jan 19th, 2021) Hitch was not in at Largo location so cancelled my appointment. Called back next day to reschedule they cancelled my order and appointment. I was livid!! Also had to pay $32.00 up front for them to even order it. I called Largo location and Customer Service multiple times to check to see if my hitch was in they had no clue. Terrible Customer Service, very rude. How can they not have a tracking number to my hitch U-Haul ordered from their warehouse. What a joke! Don’t waste your time with U-Haul like I did. Check out Rentz in Hudson FL.

Renee Johns has since modified her behavior regarding wearing masks and doesnt wear one herself most of the time. She got informed on the ordinance and relaxed. Last time I rented a truck she took care of me personally.

I went to this store today to inquire about the Ubox containers they have. The lady behind the counter seemed to be bothered that I was asking multiple questions. She just told me to read the brochure. I am moving across the country, not across town so I have some questions. This person needs to be working in the warehouse and not the front counter, no people skills at all. I will NOT be using this company to ship my belongings!

Went for hitch installation. The lights on my trailer were not working. Ive been told it was due to my trailer..(a brand new one) . A third part testing was needed to state i got only 7 volts instead of 12v from the plug. the story lasted for months..! They ended up to acknowledge they did not ground the wiring... In addition the staff is not friendly at all.

Very slow. Like purposely going out of their way slow. Sorry you had to work on a Sunday .

Not real happy with this place. We took our truck here to get a brake controller installed. We had all the equipment, just needed the labor. They said they wouldnt sell us the labor unless we bought the equipment from them. As we were leaving, an outside employee suggested S&M Trailer a few miles down the road. We considered buying the controller there and having them install it, we were actually quite desperate at that time. We were pulling an RV and blew the motor on our truck and had to buy a new one which didnt have the controller system. We asked them how much it would be to install it if we did buy theirs, they said anywhere from $100 to $300. S&M did it for $50.

There is a big sign on the door that you must wear a mask yet I walked in and I was the only one there wearing a mask. The 5 staff members hurried to put on masks after the fact except one man that didnt bother at all. We have a pandemic going on and this is a poor practice in an enclosed retail location. Also they say the trucks are cleaned and disinfected but the vehicle was clearly dirty inside. I would recommend that people avoid this location based on poor safety practices and false advertising.

Upon arrival, they were very busy. The manger helped disconnect my car from the tow dolly and the tow dolly from our rental truck. We then unloaded our stuff into the climate controlled storage center. We are very happy with our experience. The only thing that could make this place better is 24 hour access to the storage units. I still rated them 5 stars because the climate controlled storage at a competitive price is worth the lack of 24 hour access.

Worst costumer service ever. They have this lady that is very unprofessional and rude.She was complaining to me about filling my propane tank and she had no mask.When I asked her to put her mask on she refuses service.

I ordered a hitch from this location they said it had to be ordered. Ok no problem.... 7-10 days they said. I get a phone call on 12th day saying it is on back order. He said he would check to see if he could find one and would call back no call back for 48 hrs So I called back and they guy that answered I believe his name was Jason was extremely rude. Would not help me or ask my name so he could look up my order. then he hung up on me. I call back and sent to hold immediately. with no one picking up to talk to me. On hold 20 min before I hung up. I will be asking for a refund in person first thing in the morning and NEVER doing business with Uhaul again. Most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with.

Great UHAUL to work with! The general manager Joe is awesome! Very Helpful! Always my go to Uhaul in the area when I have moving jobs where I need a bigger truck. Coming back tomorrow for 2 more!

We have made 3 visits in the last three weeks for moving supplies. Jeremy has been completely helpful, as well as friendly, on each occasion. Will continue to go there for all my supplies! Anthony

This store is very difficult to reach by phone nine times out of ten you reach the call center. It is pointless to speak with the call center about payments so when Jason answered thephone I asked if it was the store or call center. Jason sarcastically replied obviously the store I answered the phone. How the hell should that be obvious to me? When checked on the way he answered he became even more combative and rude.

Great place. Needed a motorcycle trailer for a few hours and was a easy process. Joe and another worker did a great job

We showed up and the owner came out and worked very quickly and did everything for us. He put our hitch in and connected the trailer checked to make sure all the lights were working properly. When we dropped off they have an area set up for you to clean out your rental and they come right out and disconnect everything. I could not have ask for anything better. Thank you

The guy helping us hook up the u box was awesome and even helped change a fuse for my lights. Friendly staff.Would have been a five star but the u-box cover Velcro came undone on the road. I had to tie a rope around the box.

Cia (I hope thats right??) was absolutely a delight! She was so friendly and helpful. I came there just having loaded a truck to get a storage unit I had spoken to someone online about and there was some confusion about it in the system but she was very understanding and helped me get things figured out when my brain was jumbled up! She was funny and seemed to really care about her job and made the process so much easier. I think she deserves a raise!!! 🙂

I had a U-BOX delivered on time..and I packed it up and it was picked up on time by two different delightful young ladies where it went to Largo 66th St.for storage then it was delivered to my new home by another equally pleasent young lady and left here for the weekend for me to unpack it.. Uhaul U-BOX Rules..👍

Very dissatisfied with the customer service representative I was told one thing and then they did some sneaky stuff to the bill with double charging the bill for a day rental I got charged for 2 so be careful with this store Ill never rent from them again. And I could care less about the money I just dont like being lied to

The guy who help me rent my Uhaul his name was Gene. He was the best part of moving. He was funny and made our day. During a stressful event such as moving having someone who lightened the mood and made the whole experience pleasurable help lighten our burden. He was quick, efficient and helpful.

Mgr. JOE, left me stranded in the Uhaul parking lot at night to sit and wait for road side assistance or for morning to come because their employee failed to do a thorough check on my car trailer hook up on which none of the lights will work even though I was here at 12 pm today being hooked up with a car trailer. I asked repeatedly if all the hook up on the trailer for my car was working and kept getting a yeah from the employee. The employees who were here tried to be helpful, especially Nikki who knows her way around an engine. They did stay later, but had to go and eventually took off. Im stuck in the Uhaul parking lot at night with 2 pets because this Uhaul has no reverence for my life or safety. Even if roadside assistance does fix the wiring issue Im still stuck with a Lincoln Town car that has to be loaded by myself ? What a lowlife to strand a female when it was clearly their fault. I cant even get compensation for lodging to be somewhere safe for the night. Recommendation to any female doing a long distance move, find a different location. They do not care about your safety here, apparently not at all and they will leave you stuck. When I rented the 20 foot truck I specifically asked JOE if all the tires were okay. I got the pat answer that they check them. As soon as I got to my rental to load up the the last bits of my move I noticed one of the tires looked flatter than the rest.

Impossible to reach this location by phone.... Unfortunately... I wanted to find out about their storage facilities but its not possible to reach them... It goes to Uhaul phone system or something like that and then you are on hold for ever... Oh well there are many other storage places.

I called ahead of time, made a reservation and went out of my way to go to this facility. When I got there, there were four people standing behind the desk, not doing much.I shared with the individual who I made a reservation with that I had a very busy day and had other appointments. I called 20 minutes before my appointment, no problem, they will be ready. When I got there, were running an hour behind. Unacceptable waste of my Saturday.

It was a cluster between the reservation call center giving us faulty information and then the store calleing us to say bring cash because the credit machines were down nationwide, which we felt uneasy about and called to confirm with another location. The staff member trying to complete our in-store experience asked a young man to go wipe down the truck dash. The young man rolled his eyes and began verbally assaulting the salesman. It went back and forth and we thought they were going to come to blows. Hopefully the manager has removed this young man from the staff. The truck itself was a good deal and fit our needs. No mechanical issues, easy to drive, and the return process was quick.

The staff were all friendly and extremely helpful. They went the extra mile in helping me hook up my trailer and secure everything.

A very thorough and accurate customer service staff busy office very friendly was glad to get my hitch installed with a lifetime warranty.

This is a large corporate owned facility, they are friendly and Ive never had any issues, they also have good prices for boxes and even have an area for free used boxes. If you need help loading or unloading use Father and Son Moving just tell them you have a truck to get lower rates.

Joe here is the Best Ive seen so far for loading U-haul boxes into my tractor trailer!

Great costumer service they were more than helpfull even though they did not have a truck for us at the moment, they took the time to call around and help find one. we flew and the rental from Budget was going to be our way home when Budget failed us we walked here to get some help and the guys at U-Haul did everything they could I really appreceated that

They gave me a lock with the wrong key so I needed to have a locksmith come out since I couldnt go back. Forgot furniture pads I ordered. They rented the truck with dirty socks in the front. The alignment and brakes were not well maintained. They knew of a leak and still rented the truck and it rained and damaged some of our belongings. They did not care that any of this happened. I like uhaul, but I would avoid this location.

All my dealings with U-Haul I have felt like the only customer they had. I was always treated fairly and honestly and giving a good price on all merchandise.

Went in to get a 30lb propane tank filled. Got home and the thing wouldnt stop leaking. Went back up to this uhaul the guy acted super annoyed and went and got a manager. The manager came over and said its a bad valve. I had just bought the tank 6 months earlier. He said yea it just happens.That didnt sit well with me so I went down to Amerigas right down the road and the guy there looked at it and found out that uhaul opened the valve so far that it was stuck in the open position. So basically I wasted the $48 getting the tank filled at uhaul because it all leaked out and all the frustration on finding out the problem.Never go here they dont care about the customer and it will cause you so much frustration and money its not worth it.

Awful service quote time. Originally was told it would take 30 minutes to install a hitch on my car. When I arrived they told me it would take an hour. I waited for 2 hours. Had I been told that originally I would have planned for that time frame and just dropped my car off.
