I do not recommend using Tampa Bay Marble & Granite. They installed a broken/repaired piece of granite on L-shape kitchen bar top without telling us, and it was placed unevenly. When we noticed it, they said they didnt know how that happened and they were going to replace it,. But they said that it broke again, in the same place, so it would have to have a seam now. They assured it us it would be centered properly the second time though, and it was not. And they damaged the faucet. The property is occupied by sick tenant, so I didnt call them to come back. They called upset a month later when they noticed they hadnt been paid. I sent pictures and never heard from them again.

My wife and I have been renovating our 1930 St Pete home for the past two years. We found Tampa Bay Marble and Granite during the pandemic and were very pleased with the efficient and caring service we received. They were always safe during our interactions and were one of the only stone vendors that had the stone we wanted for our Kitchen. Since then we came back for marble window wills throughout our house, and recently, we replaced the counter in our Garage Apartment as well. They have always been very competitive on pricing and willing to work with me on unusual requests, unlike most other stone vendors out there. If you want the best stone, the best craftsmanship, and the best overall experience, look no further. We will gladly use them again when the need arises. They are now one of our most trusted go-to vendors.

From the first step into this hidden gem of a counter top merchant, my wife and I were amazed at the choices we had available to us. The staff, Marcella and Jenna, were fantastic people to work with as they listened to our vision. It took a couple of trips, check twice buy once, but we found the perfect piece of stone. Installation was even better. Marcello came out to make a template and the fabricators, done in house, were able to cut a one piece counter top. Installation went smooth and quick. From demolition of the old top, they carted it away, to installing the new counter and sink. Fantastic job!. We also had them install a new counter top in the guest bathroom! If you want the perfect stone counter for your home then look no further. Great people, great products, but most important great service.

My husband and I highly recommend Tampa Bay Marble & Granite! We used them for the quartz top for our large (72) double vanity in our master bath. You will not find better customer service and attention than that provided by Marcella in the office. Each and every time I went by the office during the process, from the very first time, she remembered me and called me by name. She also remembered each sample of quartz I had looked at on previous visits and was interested in! She and the rest of the staff in the office are so cordial and professional. As for the quality of the final product and install, my husband and I couldnt be more pleased. Marcello (the owner) and his crew did a wonderful job.

A generic review would sing their praises, say it looks great, blah blah blah. If youre just looking for overall ratings, you can stop reading right now. If you are considering new granite countertops as a significant investment that requires thoughtful research, by all means, read on.Every single employee was super professional, and not in that forced smile, glad handing sort of way. Jenna staffs the office and was our initial point of contact. She has worked in the industry a long while and used to work for a competitor. She did not bad mouth them at all, but pointed out their shortcoming is that their sales reps have very little knowledge of the material and sourcing. This is TBMGs strength. Everyone knew what they were doing; no winging it.Next up was Marcella. She took the time to sit us down at her desk and discuss various options. She even saved us from a tragic error of selecting a high end quartz product that looked completely different in slab form than the 12X12 sample we saw at one of the other businesses. She could have made her money and been done with it, but instead meticulously took her time to get it right for us. She really knows her stuff and told us what pitfalls we may encounter, and different stones properties.The owner is Marcelo, who comes out to your house and personally sets up the template using thin cedar planks hot glued together. This process is far superior than the computer programs most others use, which is a great way to squeak every square inch out of a slab, but does not consider the grain and character of the stone, nor seams. We got a phone call when our granite was delivered to their shop, so we could help decide where the templates would lay out on the slab. Fascinating stuff, and really empowering. (Our granite was actually consigned from Mont Krest; the slabs they had in stock were more economical, but we were really stuck on this one type.)Install was a breeze. It was 10 days from order to install...not bad! The crew of four men was careful to not damage the walls and floors, and cleaned up thoroughly after installation. This was no job for amateurs. Our countertops involve a wraparound bar inside, some choppy counter sections on either side of the stove, and a window pass-through that connects to an outside back porch bar. The inevitable seams are virtually invisible. Our slabs were two bookends, so they used the mirror image properties to pull off these perfect seams; a real art.Another notable positive was that Marcella told us about a plumbing supply wholesaler they deal with that carries faucets far superior to the big box plastic, flimsy quality. The Prohs showroom isnt far from TBMG, and we were able to make our selection (all brass construction with a brushed nickel finish, ceramic discs, lifetime warranty) so that they delivered it with our countertops. We are 100% satisfied.

After much looking to find a coffee table to go with our new sofa, we were frustrated. We were passing by the store when we came up with the idea to do a custom one with granite. We met with Marcella twice. First to discuss the project and then after we found a suitable base. You would never know from the generous amount of time and guidance that ours was a very modest project. Yet she did everything to make us happy, answer all our questions and to get it right. We are ecstatic with the results. We can highly recommend them without reservation.

We are 110% satisfied. TBM&G transformed our formica counter tops from the 80s to 2020s beautiful granite. we tried to update our kitchen with modern stainless steel appliances and a pro paint job, but still felt the 80s. Instillation took a little over 2 hours and all pieces of granite fit like a glove.We highly recommend this Company and the Family who are the owners

In the continuing saga of the kitchen remodel from hell Tampa Bay Marble & Granite broke the curse...but not at first. Wrong tile installed while I was out of town. Kitchen measured wrong and cabinets did not fit. Electrician put all the outlets in the wrong spots. Ok, what else could go wrong? Finally Im ready for granite counters. Initial contact with Tampa Bay M&G went well. Owners daughter( Marcella) worked with us and we couldnt be happier. Friendly, knowledgeable, patient. The measuring and template making went well. On the day of install the crew showed up on time and got to work. Then WHAM, the kitchen demon struck once again. One piece of granite broke as they were taking it off the truck. Marcella bent over backwards to make it right. She had a slab of in stock granite brought over from their other location in Orlando ASAP. but when it got here she was not happy with the grain match so she bought another slab from a local distributor. This small family owned shop is busy but she GAURUNTEED my counters would be installed within a few days. Sure enough they called and showed up when promised and the owner came to insure I was happy with the product & install. I am more than happy and will definitely use them for the next project. Thank you, thank you thank you for being the bright spot in a miserable project. Oh, I almost forgot 5 minutes before they arrived the service elevator broke down but they managed to get the counters in the smaller passenger car and up to the 6th floor. Once again they earned their 5 star rating from me.

UPDATE.....They made it right.Following my review I heard back from Marcella, she apologized and informed me that they had an issue at the shop and that was the reason for lack of return call. She assured me that they would be by as soon as her father was back and scheduled date and time with a promise to call the day before to confirm. True to her word she called, confirmed the appointment, and the installer was at the house on time and fixed the issue.Even with the issues, the fact that they made it right I would probably recommend Tampa Bay Marble and Granite and would use them again.I will start by saying the buying process was awesome, very attentive, the follow up and customer service since is HORRIBLE.Stopped by on January 9th at the store to look at granite options and picked out our design. They sent the installer out on January 13th to do the measure, very professional. They came on January 27th and did the install. Noticed that they “racked” one of the cabinets next to dishwasher and the gap next to appliance was 1/8” at bottom and 5/8” at top. Stopped by the shop on January 29th to pay remaining balance and told Marcella of the issue, while talking to her the installer came in and we talked about it. He said to make sure Marcella was aware and she would schedule him to come so repair. I also mentioned that we should have some remaining granite available as we didn’t meet their minimum order.She promised a return call on Saturday the 30 to have the installer return.On February 7th I called and spoke with the receptionist, explained we had not heard back from Marcella and was promised a return call later that day.My wife called again on February 20th and again was promised a return call. Today February 26 my wife called and spoke with Marcella, explained the issue yet again and was promised a return call in 5 minutes. Still no call.Very disappointed.

Family owned and operated business. Large warehouse where we casually browsed the inventory to choose exactly what we wanted. The work was scheduled and done as promised. Super friendly to work with and refreshing to deal with good, honest people.

Forget Home Depot or Lowes they are much more expensive and not as knowledgeable as a professional fabricator. Tampa Bay Marble & Granite saved us hundreds of dollars and was a pleasure to work with. They are very knowledgeable and answered all our questions about the different materials for countertops. Glad we found them. Save yourself the time and just go to them first.

Tampa Bay Marble & Granite is a breath of fresh air! The indoor warehouse was full of the most beautiful granite and quartzite slabs we had ever seen. There was even a large selection of remnants that were stunning! Marcella helped us pick out a mixture of full slabs and remnants for our entire house. She was knowledgable, patient, and super helpful with coordinating colors. The whole process from picking out the countertops to installation was a breeze. I highly recommend checking this place out!

We used Tampa Bay Marble for the remodel of one bathroom. I looked at a number of other shops but they had no problem doing a Small job as some others did. They found us a great remnant that was just big enough and was a great price. Family run business and just the nicest people to deal with. Very helpful and more importantly, they showed up when they said they would. The bath cabinet was between two walls and the finished top was a perfect fit with only about an 1/8 inch play. Perfect fit! We have two more bathrooms to do and we will definitely use them again. You couldnt ask for more friendly, helpful people!

We would highly recommend Tampa Bay Marble and Granite. From the very start of our exploration, the folks at Tampa Bay could not be more helpful. They were genuinely interested in our project and shared (not forced) their ideas and suggestions (which were VERY helpful). Tampa Bay does import some stone but is also very willing to refer clients to other distributors (some who were very helpful and some who acted as though they could not be bothered). In the end, we chose one of Tampa Bays granites and it could not be any more beautiful. Carol helped to point out the individuality of slabs and showed how it would match our cabinet choices. The templating process was quick and easy, and choosing the specific slab - fun!! This company is phenomenal! I went there based on the Google reviews. Their granite options are beautiful and their service is excellent. They do not nickel and dime you for edges, etc. They also included a sink, which is extra deep, and I love it. Marcella is so patient and extremely knowledgeable. Her father, Marcelo is so experienced, and did an excellent install job. The countertop is the focal point of my new kitchen, and it brings out “WOW” from everyone who sees it. I could not be happier with the quality and service I received. Also, from templating to install was only one week, and Marcella gives you the date at the time at purchase. Carol and Marcella in the showroom were so friendly, helpful and patient with my project (countertops in the kitchen and 2 bathrooms). They were super friendly and helped me pick out the perfect granite for my home. Marcello and his team of installers were friendly and fast! They were on time with both the measuring appointment to make the templates and the install appointment. Their work is FANTASTIC! My kitchen went from ugly green dated counters to a beautiful gray granite which is showroom quality! I cannot believe I got the granite kitchen and bathroom counters I have been wanting for such a reasonable cost. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this family owned/operated company! I highly recommend them for your next project and if I move and need to upgrade my countertops, I wouldnt think of using anyone other than Tampa Bay Marble and Granite. Wonderful products and even better people. Carol was so helpful in giviing guidance and education about the difference between quartzite and granite as well as tips on which stone would best compliment my new cabinets. They have an impressive array of granite of the best quality. Marcello and his daughter, Marcella are angels. We were scheduled for our templating the day before Irma hit and had to evacuate. We gad to cancel at the last minute and when we returned to town, they reached out to us to see how they could help to get the job done as close to our initial timeframe as possible.They were incredibly understanding and flexible, going out of their normal approach to get the template done even though we didnt have electricity. Marcella and Marcello were so patient as we tried to decide between two stones, even lifting 2 slabs and moving them in the warehouse so we could see which would work best with our layout. We found the perfect granite! They cut and installed it just a few days later (thank GOD power came back an hour before the scheduled install time!). My countertops are stunning! The cut of the countertops and backsplash really flow perfectly. Marcello is a master and knows granite inside and out. His crew did a great job installing and took such care with the process. They even removed the tile and granite on the islands without an extra charge. Marcello insisted on sweeping and vacuuming up as he worked. After the installation, Marcelo had to put in a small backsplash piece, so he made a trip back to my house a few hours after the main installation was over. There was some tile left on the wall that was not supposed to be removed by this company, as another contractor was responsible for that part of the job. Marcello was so sweet to offer to help me to remove the ugly tile backsplash that remained. He chipped and cleaned even though his contracted part of his job was over. What a delightful process from start to finish. Thank you Tampa Bay Marble and Granite! I finally have a kitchen I love!
