Friendly & honest shop. They gave me a good deal on a tune up & rear breaks. Very quickly serviced. They got me back to Dashing in just a couple hrs. Im glad its right around the corner, because I will return again in the future.

Literally, the best car shop experience Ive ever had! Staff is honest, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. I was in and out in half the time scheduled, and left there knowing exactly what needed to be done for future work, and at great prices!This is the ONLY shop I will ever take my 04 Lincoln LSE to, EVER! (they also do restoration and body/paint work - so I will be having that done there too)

Truly honest folks here that will do a great job for you on your vehicle.Prices to repair bodywork was more than fair and they did a greatjob .... Im so grateful I found them to fix my car.They also have very fair prices on oil changes!

Took my vehicle to them to paint as old paint was fading in areas. Rex said he would need it for five days. After seven days someone from his shop called and advised there was a problem with the paint job and it had to be re-done. They blamed their painter on a poor job. They mentioned a supervisor then painted the car. Again, they claimed there was a bad paint job. They told me that both of those employees no longer worked there. After nine days, Rex again told me the care wasnt ready. I went by and saw the car in the paint shop taped and sanded. On day ten I went by after Rex told me the car was done but there was a spot he couldnt get to because he wanted to get me back my car. The car had been there for ten work days and 14 straight days (including weekends). I went around the car with Rex. There was gray primer paint overspray around my headlights, and on the passenger side door there were defects in the paint from spray pattern. Rex pointed that out to me and said I could bring it back later to have that buffed up. There was also sand dust inside the car that was not cleaned up. They took some off the price due to keeping my car so long. The total price was too high for the quality of work that had been done. This was poor quality work. We looked at the review rating and went by that four star rating. This shop is NOT a 4 star shop. I gave a 1 star and that is being generous in my opinion. Do your homework before taking your car to this shop. This is my experience. I would NOT recommend.

Found them on Groupon as everyone else were giving insane prices for a tune up. I live in Wesley Chapel and drove all the way to Largo. Definitely was worth it. Their customer service was prompt and polite. Picked up the car in a few hours. Runs much cleaner and different in a great way. Definitely am going to utilize them for future maintenance.

This business is not like most others around the Tampa Bay Area that overcharge or try to sell things that aren’t necessary. Very pleased with the service provided here. I have no pictures but I went to auto painters minutes before closing and they were kind enough too help me in a pinch. For that they get a 5 star review. My tag lights were out and I needed them fixed asap. The owner exceeded my expectations, took off my rear panel of my hatchback and replaced both lights. Awesome service, highly recommended.

A St. Pete city employee hit my BMW. I started the claim filing process, and took the claim to Rex at Auto Painters Plus. Rex and his office manager, Denise, were very helpful in getting the claim filed. They understood what I needed to do to expedite the process and advised me accordingly. I cant say enough good things about their professional follow-through! And, when they repaired my bumper, it looked brand new. Beautiful job! Thank you Rex and Denise! Highly recommend this shop!

Great place great service

I got my rear diffuser (rear bumper add-on) painted & installed by Auto Paiters Plus LLC. Previously installed myself, the diffuser lasted over 8,000 miles. After installed by Auto Painters Plus, diffuser only lasted under 1,000 miles before it fell off in the middle of the road. Paint looked good, considering the diffuser was painted wrong from what we communicated and agreed upon, and the faulty install was not compensated for. I was willing to buy a new diffuser myself and return to Auto Painters Plus for another try on the paint and install with only a discount on the new install. When told the situation and asked for minor compensation; Auto Painters Plus refused to accept or believe my claim, with the only valid reason being that it could never happen. - Rich. Also was told by owners that the diffuser was most likely stolen and didnt fall off the car due to faulty installation. And if I had no evidence of the diffuser not being stolen there was no option for me to return to them unless and pay full price. This is not my first issue, from extended due dates, inconvienece from employees quitting, miscommunication, and unwanted styling suggestions. I will pay to have my car worked on at a different establishment.

I had a small and quick job one day when some trim was coming off my wifes car. We took the car to Auto Painters Plus and they had us on our way quickly. If you have a large job, or small job for collision repair, this is the place to start.Update - I had some rust on the hood of my car and also had dull headlamp lenses. I took them to Rex and he has the front of my car looking like new again.

Im beyond happy and thankful that I found Auto Painters Plus! Rex, Bill & Laura took wonderful care of me, from the perfect customer service to the beautiful work they did to doing some of that beautiful work for FREE! Bill knew that the insurance company didnt write a check with the sufficient funds to cover all of the damages from my accident. Instead of him taking advantage of a young lady in a pinch he was very honest with me about the pricing and what I needed to have fixed in order to safely commute. We decided what I would have repaired and the quote was written. When I picked up my 99 Lexus she looked brand new! Everything that needed to be done was done & my receipt was the exact amount of my quote! I will be going to Rex & Bill for any vehicle repairs and maintenance in the future.

Went there to get classic car painted, was promised this awesome job and they could do everything a major shop could do and more, what a joke. They never finished the job, the car graphics were only done on one side and oh yeah, they are not even. So very unprofessional the whole experience. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. In fact I would be ashamed I did this to a customers car and felt good about it. I now have to go to another shop for someone to correct the mistakes and to FINISH the job they were already paid to do.

I had the wrong part to my car, therefore, since the mechanic removed the bumper, Rex charged me $85. I offered to pay him half that, but he completely denied it. Rex was going to charge me again once I got the correct part. Rex lacks customer satisfaction and no statement of work was provided. Dont recommend.

They did a great job on my moms car! Unfortunately she was in 2 accidents in 2 weeks. They fixed her car and made her feel better!

Work and price is great!

Reliable mechanic work but oversells unnecessary work. Stated that I needed air compressor which I fixed then stated I needed new ball joints, shocks, power steering pump and a positive battery cable which would have cost me over $1200. I had the ball joints done in 2013-14... I took it to a 3rd mechanic which over 20 people recommended and the only thing that needed to be fixed was the front end links which was $170. That I can afford being on a monthly disability check since my husband died. That mechanic is Robert Shagle and I highly recommend him. Hes friendly, accomodating and doesnt BS you. And these people who were trying to charge me with all this work have called me twice trying to get me in the shop. Sigh. Might have to block the number.

Love this garage! All staff is so polite, they always get the job completed. Great customer brand!

We are an auto repair facility (The Shop) and have sent Auto Painters Plus numerous body work customers. We have never had one bad comment. Everyone that has used them we have sent was very pleased with the work and price. Dont get ripped off. Go see Rex, hes looking for wrecks.

Brought in my van with a small scrape. Got it back - and it was like getting it returned from a beginner body shop at a high school. Still see the waves and the inside of the van was permanently damaged from the grease on the hands and shoes from whoever worked in it. Absolutely will not be going back there again - just the pits.
