I was referred to Castle Guns by a long time customer. They were extremely helpful and considerate taking time to explain correctly some bad information that was given to me by an old timer gun aficionado. I made a purchase based on this & they really went above & beyond to help me the best they could. This type of service is so very rare and greatly appreciated in the current climate we are in with firearms & ammo.

I highly recommend this store! I was in the market for a small hand gun for a while, but didnt know what I wanted. I really didnt know much about guns upon arrival and was a little intimidated going in. However, when walking into the store, I was greeted with smiling faces. The owner, Rich, took great care of me. I voiced my many concerns and with patience, he put my mind at ease. He is very knowledgeable and didnt pressure me at all. He took his time making sure that I got what I wanted. His prices are great as well. I can not speak highly enough about this business. I am very pleased with my purchase and will be going back!

Extreme price gouging on ammunition. Bought an AR-15 Sig Sauer 400. It was slightly used got it at a decent price it was very little use on the gun trouble was there was no accessories with it only got one mag and the handle was missing off of it. It didnt have any scope on it just the iron sights. I did notice a used Sig. Romeo Red Dot for sale in the used accessories case. I could pretty much bet it came off that gun thats why would they handle be missing off of it if it didnt have a scope on it? So I think the used guns he gets hes selling the accessories off of them separately of course I cant prove that but I bought a lot of guns in my life and usually the hardware is with it. But needless to say I wont be going back.

Recommended this place to my brother after he showed interest in a home defense weapon platform. The salesperson was a young man, informative, polite, and knowledgeable about the (limited) available firearms.Unfortunately, my brothers Drivers License was set to expire before the pick up date. Luckily, he had his voter ID card that could be used to set up the initial purchase.This is where things turned sour. Upon reviewing my brothers party affiliation, a man (I presume to be the owner) made the statement Youre a democrat and you are buying a gun? In the most contemptuous and dismissive tone not once but TWICE! I felt terrible for my brother and his wife because they wanted to get a form of protection for their house. Only to be ridiculed by some stranger.Red or Blue, my brothers money was green. The owners smug demeanor cost his small business $700. I will never set foot in that establishment again. (Check out the Korean BBQ joint next door instead)

Ordered a gun to be shipped to this location. After receiving the UPS confirmation stating it arrived. I showed up greeted by the owner. He was very pleasent. While I waited for my back round check. I witnessed the other sales reps dealing with other customers. He was very professional. I would recommend anyone wanting to buy or have fire arm sent to this location to pick up.

This happened within 10 minutes. I called about 9mm availability. I have 6 boxes of ball $18.95, I have some loose 9mm. Everything else is 39.95. Great!I show up 5 minutes later. Asked for the ammo. Its $39.95. I just talked to you and said the above. You didnt talk to me. We cant even order it, we cant get it.( Which I understand). He then follows up with people are price gouging.Dude....Went down the street and had ZERO issues and HALF the price.

CK has a very knowledgeable staff and were extremely fair with me on a large purchase. I would go back again. UPDATE: The large purchase ended up not working out...mechanical issue on a very old gun. Full refund offered with no questions. Very fair and understanding people. A week later I brought 2 guns in to trade...I was offered very fair trade-in value and now have 2 new guns on the way. The owner carries a condescending rude attitude, and talks about murdering liberals far too often (justifying it by saying im a 25 years veteran). Over my handful of visits here to buy ammo I received very little help, but the owner would not stop speaking about politics.This week I came in to purchase a .22 rifle, and came to find out they sell their used weapons at a price that is actually HIGHER than purchasing these weapons new, I could only assume this is price gouging due to the corona situation and weapons taking longer to deliver. I asked them for an explanation as for the price, and an employee said its been modified but couldnt tell me in what ways the rifle was upgraded other than a $30 sight thats been added on.Never taking my business here again.

Great shop with some great employees. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, funny and answered all my questions. The two guys behind the counter made us feel like we were long term customers. I will definitely be returning to this shop in the future. Dont listen to the bad reviews and give the shop a chance.

A really good group of guys here, very knowledgeable and helpful. Had a great experience with the crew. A lot of combined knowledge from the staff. If anyone has any questions for pistols, shotguns, or long rifles this is the place to go.

Well I went just looking around to pass some time and maybe grab some ammo. They have a nice selection of everything from handguns to rifles and even some AR-15s. I have bought 2 weapons from them within the last 4 months ( a handgun and a rifle) and I am pleased with both. They dont really negotiate on prices of their weapons and some are overpriced but overall its a nice place. I did find their ammo prices to be a bit high like $9 for 9 rounds of 7.62X54R that you can get from a gun shop across the street for $8 for 20 rounds of the same ammo. I would recommend this place especially if you know nothing about guns because their staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Plenty of room to browse and when they are stocked, they have a lot of choices.Used, new, old, oddball, theres something for everyone. Staff was very professional and they even do layaway for 2 months if youre into that sorta thing. Prices are very competitive with surrounding shops, if not less expensive. Overall my experience was great! Will buy from again!

Meh... Shop is super uncomfortable. People that work there have an attitude for some reason and think they know everything. They only have a few guns. Prices seemed very high. Left after seeing their selection of like 5 average pistols.

Bought a shotgun from these fellows. They were very friendly and willing to educate. Very informal place. There are big chain stores that are all formal and they are fine but this is more the potbelly stove kind of store.

Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They stand behind there products and offer a 90 warranty on almost all used guns. I have bought many guns from then and I will be buying more in the future! Thanks guys.

Eh. I want to support all my local gun shops. Not this one. Everytime Ive been there it just doesnt feel comfortable. Talking with the owner just made it worse. Id rather go elsewhere.

I have been to many firearm stores, (some with thousands of guns along with a 5-star shooting range)...however Castle Keep is still my go-to store for firearms. The staff and store manager have always given me great service and have assisted me in making some rather expensive decisions regarding my firearm purchases. My father and I have done business with them since I was in high school and now ten plus years later, it is still my number one stop for guns. Keep up the great work gentlemen!

I have to say this shop is a good place to buy from. The employees are very friendly and no pressure sales makes it a good place to shop at. Good deals, large selection and great variety.

Informed, polite, and professional are the key three for this small, but well stocked store. The associates here are eager to help, and not shy of a little small talk.

Be careful of what you pay here. Their used firearms are often priced over new actual retail (not MSRP, they are not that brazen). Demeanor of the man at the counter was always helpful but some-what belittling. Their web page advertise guns that are not truly in stock, but rather in their FFL price agreement network. Id return if they happened to have something very unique, but Id rather not have to haggle to get a used gun below new retail.

I went into this store with a friend trying to sell her gun for some extra money. The gun was a Century Arms Chief 1911. A relatively cheap gun but a good one considering the build quality of them for a budget gun. I went with her because all my friends come to me with advice or help when buying and selling. We walked into the shop and started looking around and a guy behind the counter came up to us and greeted us. We told him we were looking to sell the gun and what we were trying to get out of it. He went and did some digging in the back room. Said they were selling on Gun Broker for way less than we expected. Then proceeded to tell us everything wrong with the gun saying it only had 1 mag when it should have had 2. I told him where she bought it and he instantly started calling the owner a crook. Saying how he almost lost his FFL and that he takes spare mags from guns and sells them separately. I bought 6-7 guns from him and never been ripped off. The guy was trying to get rid of us and being a dick bout it. Could have just said we cant take it. Worst gun shop employee Ive ever dealt with. Upon riding in the car, I did more research on the gun which I wish i did before but the whole trip was a on the fly decision. The gun on every website says ships with 1 mag... and not 1 version of this gun was found on Gun Broker. This place will straight up lie to you, cheat you, and dog any other shop you mention. I have never been disrespected or belittled by a gun shop but I will never recommend this place to anyone.

After reading some of the reviews I think I like them even more! I visited this shop several times. While they didn’t have what I was looking for they had been professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer questions.

Guys there are very rude. Guy tried arguing with me over a gun law which I knew it clearly stated in the florida state statutes. Even though I pointed out the statute number, he insisted I was stupid and will get arrested. I have also contacted several local law enforcement agencies who say it is perfectly legal. Will never go back, learn how to treat your customers, and to fix your attitudes.

Not too bad of a place. The only thing I can say is dont give advice if you dont know. Being an FFL people look to you for advice on the sale and transfer of weapons. Ive been given wrong advice here multiple times... Twice involved felonies. One would have made a pistol an sbr and the other involved intrastate sale. Once was a test to see what theyd say, the other I double checked. I have also been given good advice here; thats why only 3 stars.

Have picked up two weapons at castle keep. They helped with choices,info,advice and they always make time to treat you with respect, and talk about efficiency . After I made my choices on equipment I wanted they had all of the paperwork done within minutes and out the door with a smile. You honestly cant find a much better place than this wether its your first time buying a weapon or not .I wouldnt feel embarrassed at all to tell them I knew nothing about guns but want to get started . I believe you will walk out knowing that you got as good of a price as a seasoned buyer would. Nothin to lose check it out!

I have purchased a number of high end firearms over the years from them including two Gary Reeder Customs, two commemorative Buntline specials and numerous others that sit in my gun safes . In addition I have sent this store many referrals. Six weeks ago I purchased a custom made single action revolver and as an afterthought also purchased an inexpensive military surplus enfield revolver from them at the same time. Came to find out the enfield was misrepresented so on my visit there today I wanted to trade it in for another purchase. The owner said he was not interested in taking back the gun he sold me in trade and would offer me zero dollars on it because it sat in the store unsold for one and a half yearsIf he offered me half of what I paid for this piece of junk that would have been fine . Nope. Sorry Dude, caveat emptor.Well Im also sorry. Sorry to inform you I will never set foot into your establishment again. Go be an idiot and rip me off for a few dollars and say goodby to what has been thousands of dollars of purchases yearly .

Recently purchased a colt 1911 @ Castle keep. great group of gun owners, not salesman. they gave me a good price,good knowledgeable service,and I can say I helped to support an American owned and operated mom and pop style shop thats been around. Even gun shops are becomming chains or internet based. No complaints, its just nice to know I can get help if neccessary, and Im supporting an American ownened business. u.s.a..............love it or leave it
