I talked to Mike and he was very helpful in selling me this car. I live in Kansas City, Missouri and the car was in Laramie, Wyoming. We got all the prices lined up and he got the paperwork and overnight shipped it to my house and I was able to sign everything from home and make the 10 hour drive up there. Overall 10/10 experience and I do recommend this dealership.

The quality of your service is good but the timeliness is ridiculous. Having to wait a month to get my car looked at is unreasonable and having to wait several more weeks to have the part installed is too much. I bought this car from your dealership and even though it has been 22 years ago there is still no excuse for having to wait this long for service.

This was the worst experience Ive ever had at a dealership, my 2003 Tahoe with only 84,000 miles on it, had a brake line go bad, they refused to fix it, but they were real happy to sell me a new truck, I was 700 miles from home and they knew I didnt have any options. When looking for a vehicle, Laramie Auto Center kept popping up I my search. They had exactly what I wanted for a lot less than around Denver. After some texts and calls I took a dare and drove up. Even with the I-25 traffic, it was well worth it. The people were friendly, easy to work with and very different than another dealer I visited a few days before. The drive back on 287 was the dessert.For my next vehicle they are at the top of my list to buy from. Hands down.

Very impressed with the sales team, they weren’t pushy at all. They met me half way and paid for half of cost for new tires. The check, engine light came on few days later and they scheduled me to come in and take care of it. Very appreciative that they have stood by there word.

My wife and I were traveling on interstate 80 on our way to Omaha for the Olympic swimming finals when we developed a vibration in our 2021 Sierra pickup. Had an appointment for oil change at 10:30AM. Brought the car in around 9:40AM as well don’t live in Laramie and we’re going to shop around town. I called around 1pm and service never answered phone. Went to customer service and the lady couldn’t get anyone in service to answer the phone. She said she would call me back. After not receiving call back I called around 2pm and the guy that answered stated, “umm looks like they just pulled it in”. I finally received a call around 2:30-2:40 saying that my car was ready. So basically brought my car in early (was not expecting it done early) but 4 hours after the appointment time is absolutely unacceptable. We never even got a text or call stating they are running late. I would have just taken my car and gone somewhere else if I knew the service department was going to be like this.

I am very happy with my new tires and rims. They look great and drive perfectly.

We had a great experience this the the 6th truck I have bought. Every time the service gets better. Mike and Joe worked with us every step of the way and not one time did the tell us what they want it was what we wanted. And they have me the highest trade for my truck than any other dealer ship around .

They told me to bring it by 7:30 am for wheel balance and rotation. I made the appointment the week before. I bought the tires from them also. I just can’t believe it would take all day to do it.

Do not take your vehicle to Laramie GM service center. Jackie treated my elderly parents absolutely horribly. We have bought multiple vehicles from the autocenter and have always had done work at their service department but will never do so again.

Best experience buying a car in my life! I live in North Carolina and purchased a vehicle from Laramie GM Auto Center. They sent videos of the cars interior and exterior. My appt was at 8:30 a.m. for an oil change and 5 point maintenance check, plus to fix a head light. I was told that the appt would take around an hour and a half. When I returned at 11 a.m. my car was on the service rack. Nothing had been done on the headlight. After waiting another 45 min. The express lube manage can to me and said they need another 1 1/2 or two hours to fix the headlight. At that time, I was pretty frustrated. I told them to give me the bulb for the headlight and my husband would put it in. After waiting, 4 hours then my bill came to $188.00! Oil change, air filter, and a pollen filter? Ouch!

We have used Laramie GM for years, for service and buying our cars. Our last car buying adventure at Laramie GM (04/2021) was the best car buying experience EVER! They did not have what I wanted so they found it for me, plus we were able to buy a life-time bumper to bumper for as long as we own the care. Laramie GM also has life-time drive train when you buy from them as part of their service, no extra cost. We will continue to use Laramie GM. Very helpful. Buying an EV comes with a lot of questions. The dealers did well answering them. Having a 220 V charger on site was KEY for me going through with my purchase, since there is nowhere else to charge the car at level II in town. I suspect EVs will become more popular here really soon though, once all the EV trucks roll out.

Our salesperson, managers, and even the crew in parts and detail were super patient with us as we made several visits to the dealership, looking at every vehicle! Laramie auto center is the only reason I am driving A GMC truck. They have always taken great care to make sure any issue I might have is taken care of right away. I have a friend who sales Ford products and he has been trying to get me to switch to a Ford but I refuse to switch because the way Laramie Auto Center treats their clients.

We just returned from a cross country vacation, and after driving across 4 states, we found ourselves staring down the dashboard at 4 error lights. After, unexpectedly being forced to stay the night due to our car malfunction, we tried a few places in town and finally got pointed in the direction of Laramie GM. With no notice, they took our car in, read the codes, and explained what the most likely problem was. Adam, in the Service Department oversaw 2 cars at once in order to get us back on the road in time to save our vacation. On top of that, they comped us a quart of oil and got us on our way, when everyone else told us they were booked for weeks. Thank you Adam and Laramie GM.

I had never bought a car from a dealership before today but I’m very glad I went to Laramie GM. They had great pricing, reasonable finance options, and they gave me a great value on my trade-in.MY THOUGHTS NOW: Laramie GM is a scammer’s shop. I bought my car and the next day the check engine light came on. I took it in to be repaired and the light stayed off for a couple days then came back on— same issue! Their used car inspection system is obviously faulty. My truck has several failing components that I am having to replace on my own dime (using the far superior techs at the Toyota dealership). Do not buy a used car from Laramie GM!! Perhaps these people should learn the LEMON LAW!!!

I was surprised with a bill nearly three times the estimate. Communication was horrible and when I was told my car would be done that afternoon I had to wait a total of 33 hours!

After being in a car accident I needed a new vehicle that was safe, affordable and had the amenities that I wanted, but I was in no hurry to jump into just anything. Everyone at Laramie GM was overly patient with me as I made certain I was making the right choice for me. Mike ultimately helped me get into a new ride that was a perfect choice for me. I am out of free oil changes, but I am still in love with my car. 

I had an appointment for an airbag replacement that was to take about an hour. I had to wait over an hour for a ride home and it took all day for the service to be completed. It would have been much better if Id known ahead of time that it was an all day affair. It would have been much less frustrating if I hadnt been left waiting for a ride for so long.

On the whole, I have to rate Laramie GM highly. I have a long history with the service department here (10+ years). They were highly recommended to me by a friend when I moved here for college. Theyve done a LOT of work on my vehicle. Last year, I spun out on 80 coming home, and they did an immediate inspection on my car as soon as I brought it in and at no charge! I like that they seem to do a pretty solid inspection when your vehicle is in. The complementary van service is also a huge plus.I had a little difficulty with some work earlier this year, but they have done really well on the whole. Until recently, I had an ongoing leak in my power steering that we worked really hard to fix. I had another mechanic look at it and it sounds like it was a genuinely tricky issue. I spoke with the general manager at Laramie GM (Joe Hedley), and he covered the bill from the other mechanic going only off of the POSSIBILITY that GM missed the issue when I had the pump replaced here earlier this year. Color me impressed. In all, Im glad that I was pointed towards GM 10 years ago.

Since it was GM certified with extended warranties I took the gamble with purchasing my Terrain and when it arrived I couldn’t have been happier. I brought my vehicle in for a recall repair and asked about a loose front end. I was told that the bill was $170.00 and I did not authorize any service. I was charged over and above what the service was worth in my opinion. You are not medical doctors but charge as if you were. Your service is dependable but not worth the price. I will be looking for service somewhere else..

I just bought my pre-owned Jeep Renegade from here today! It was my first time buying a car, and I was bracing myself for the worst. Everyone told me what to expect - from hidden fees to long wait times. I’m really happy to report that I didn’t encounter any of that. Joe in finance was about to work our a really great financing option for me, even though I’ve never had an automotive loan before. I wasn’t met with a lot of pushback when I turned down warranty options. And there weren’t any sneaky fees - I paid for the car and the taxes.Brandon was also extremely great to work with! He handled my 1,001 questions with so much patience, and he helped arrange for the vehicle to get inspected by a third party mechanic without any hassle, which was huge because we came in to get this car from Denver. I definitely didn’t encounter the “Wait here while I get my manager” and sit for half an hour. I’m so happy with my new car and would highly recommend this dealership to people in the future.

To basically sum up my problem with Laramie GM .July 2020 Bought a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Noticed a problem with the brakes during test drive. Had them check it, and what they found was the rear driver side axle seal was leaking. They told me they would be willing to fix, and replace the brake it if I committed to buying the vehicle.I made the purchase, and was given a deadline of the next morning for the vehicle to be ready. That deadline kept changing over the next 3 days.I was finally told that it was fixed, detailed, and ready to go. When I picked it up I first noticed that besides hosing down the Jeep and a poor tire shine job nothing else had been detailed the interior was still just as dirty and dusty. No big deal there tho.By the time I finally got the Jeep I had to rush back to Riverton for work as I had already missed 2 days of work. A week later I bought new tires for the jeep, and got an alignment. When installing the new tires it was noticed that the axle seal was still leaking.I contacted Laramie GM twice about this issue, and never got a response back. I gave them plenty of time to do so, and heard nothing back. That is why I am now leaving this review. SO in summary I would not suggest buying used from this dealership. I feel they made promises then fell through, as though they probably dont care about used sales so much as new.

Had a very pleasant experience working with them to find the right car for me, and I dont think I could have ever said that about any car buying experience before. They seemed to genuinely want to find the right car for me and make the experience as easy as possible for everyone involved. I will always go through them and will be sending my family and friends their way.

I went in on a Saturday to look at a different car. I finally decided on a car and filled out all of the necessary loan application papers. 12pm on Monday I got a call saying I was approved. I told the sales person I was working with that I was leaving for a medical trip that afternoon and that j would be in at 2pm to sign the papers. I showed up at 2pm and was told that the car wasnt ready yet. But that they would get the paperwork ready and by the time I got done signing the paperwork the car woukd be ready. Well we sat at the sales persons desk for nearly an hour and a half before they brought out any paperwork. I signed the paperwork and left the dealership because I was already late for leaving for my trip because of how long it took them. The next day I got back after a 300 mile round trip and received a call from the finance person that they had me sign the paperwork for another car. Then asked me if I wanted to keep the car they gave me or the one I signed the paper work for. After seeing how long it took them to install the GPS for my loan I decided to keep the car I had because I didnt want to go through that process again. So over the course of the rest of that week I had to go in several times to get everything straightened out.When I bought my car it was a certified car so I was supposed to get 2 free oil changes. When all the paperwork was done for the oil change I was told I had to pay $60 for the oil change. They tried claiming that the free oil changes expired, but they expired before I even bought the car. When I told them that info they had to go find the sales person and finance person that sold me the car to get it straightened out. Eventually it got straightened out, but after them messing up the paperwork when I got the car I was absolutely shocked that they continue to mess it up. Will never be buying a car from laramie gm again and after my warranty is up I will not be doing any business there.

Drove 3 hours to test drive vehicles after a couple phone calls and several texts back and forth to pin down what we were looking for. The truck that looked most promising ended up selling before we got there, but Mike Sharum (aka Mike with the mustache) had already identified another possibility. After a test drive, knew this was the one!Between Mikes attention to our wants, needs, and price range and the team at Laramie GM Autocenter, we came home with a truck that surpassed all expectations. Was totally worth the long drive, and couldnt be happier that we decided to work with Mike on this purchase instead of sticking around the Denver metro area.
