Great shop!!I brought my truck in for service and was treated like family. Good family. Service was done in a timely manner. The waiting area is comfortable and clean.We found worn ball joints and was quoted a reasonable price to replace. These guys have won my loyalty and will see me return.One of the best things is that you are welcome to visit your vehicle while in the shop and ask any questions. Not your typical Dodge Ram dealer... And thats a good thing. I worked with Kaden and was able to put a deposit on a truck in transit. Worked out a trade number over the phone. I had just put new all terrain tires on my trade and happened to be the same size as the Ram 3500 I was getting I wanted them swapped. Had some scheduling issues and more or less was driving to pickup the truck knowing the tires were not going to be swapped. But Kaden sent me a text on my way there saying the tires are off and waiting for you to arrive. I got there late but they grabed my trade the second I got there pulled the tires off. I buy many vehicles from dealers and the finance guy I actually liked which is a first for maybe 20 dealer purchases. Actually no hassle and even with the dam tire swap probably the fastest dealer buying experience yet. Thank you Kaden

They are always fast and friendly. When I make an appointment my vehicle gets worked on at the time. I can not say the same for the local GM dealership. The last four time I have gone to GM they dont start working on my car until an hour to hour and a half past my appointment time. The Johnson Service Department is awesome. I even take my Honda to them for sevice.

I bought a used Hyundai Santa Fe from them. IT WAS A LEMON. The said the oil was changed before we took it but when we had it changed 3 months later there wasn’t much oil in it and it more like a sludge than oil. The back passenger window sometimes would roll up and sometimes it wouldn’t and eventually wouldn’t roll up at all in January.After owning the car for 7 months THE ENGINE WENT OUT ON US AND IS GOING TO COST $6,000 TO FIX!!!!

I made an appointment on Tuesday to have an oil change, alignment, and new tires on Friday at 10am... on Friday, they took my car in... 2hrs later they call me to find out which tires I want... which wont be there until the next day... then proceed to tell me that they wont do my alignment or tires until Tuesday at 8am because the tires are so unsafe that they would be liable if they touch them and they were too booked up... so I had to drive away with really unsafe tires still on my 🚙. Needless to say, my husband was LIVID, and called the service person to cause a scene.Today... now Tuesday... my 🚙 has been in the shop almost 3hrs so far and still no call to pick it up... apparently only they have schedules and are busy...I LIVE OVER AN HOUR AWAY, BOUGHT THE 🚙 FROM THIS DEALERSHIP, ALWAYS BRING IT HERE FOR SERVICE, AND THIS IS HOW I GET TREATED BY THE NEW GUYS... not impressed with Mathew and the current crew in Johnsons Auto of Laramie. Service center lacking in customer service. I don’t know if it’s ignorance or lack of experience. Brought in a job that I needed done. Tech said he could do. Guaranteed money and the service writer was to proud to give it to the tech I preferred. Between the tech and I the service writer’s job was done. All he had to do was push paperwork.

Horrible customer service. I went in to help my friend purchase a vehicle and the salesman, Luke, was incredibly condescending and rude. For someone who makes their money based on commission, he certainly does not act like it. They feel you in with low “affordable” prices and then say that the bank won’t approve that vehicle to be sold. Then why have it on the lot and let people test drive it? Avoid this shop at all costs!

I would give a negative star i could. When we initially purchased the Cadillac Escalade it went pretty quickly but it was closing time on a Saturday so they rushed us through. The vehicle still had its temporary tags on it when we had a major engine breakdown. The lifter collapsed and it has a bad cam shaft as well. We are looking at over $4000.00 in repairs. I reached out to the Internet Sales Manager we purchased the vehicle from and General Manager as soon as it was diagnosed and they both basically in so many words said you bought a used vehicle too bad so sad! I was shocked i really thought they would be fair and do the right thing and assist us somehow. I understand that purchasing a used vehicle is as is for minor things but not a major engine failure! No one purchases a new vehicle with the expectations of having to put $4000.00 in repairs in the vehicle before you even purchase your plates! A friend of a friend heard our story and reached out to someone he knew at that dealership. I spoke to him and he offered to give me a car to use until mine was fixed. Well that didnt help with the huge bill but it helped with transportation while my newly purchased vehicle was down he would also reach out to the location in Brighton since they work on GM vehicles and ask them to fix it for us with a reduced labor rate since they are owned by the same person. That morning he called me back and said the General Manager refused to give us a vehicle or help us whatsoever!Another kick to the gut! Everyone I told was totally shocked & applauded. The General Manager is only concerned with the bottom line NOT doing what is morally right! Screwing over people like this is wrong! We have been out of a vehicle since Thanksgiving. BEWARE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS GUY OR HIS DEALERSHIPS!

BUYER BEWARE: I have never given a poor review of a company like this, but after purchasing numerous toys and having positive relationships with other dealers, I wanted to make others aware of some very unethical practices (two in particular) with this dealership and their used vehicles.1. In their online advertisement for the Jeep Wrangler I was interested in, Johnson Auto clearly stated, in multiple locations, on their website, Autotrader, etc. that several items would be included in the sale. The biggest one, in particular, was the factory soft top, but also included other misc accessories as well. The sales rep, Kaden, also told me verbally that the vehicle came with a remote start as well, that was not captured in the ad. After the decision was made to purchase, I asked the sales rep about those items. He then claimed they made a mistake on the ad (it was a copy/paste error) and he also stated that he misspoke about the remote start. They said sorry, but offered no resolution to account for the drop in value. I pushed to adjust the price for this and to align it better with blue book value. After several times back and forth, they finally lowered the price slightly, but no where near enough to cover the costs of purchasing those items afterwards. I drove 5 hours round trip and very interested in that particular vehicle and decided to move forward anyways.2. After purchasing and leaving the lot to drive home, I noticed a strong antifreeze smell when I pulled in the garage. I notified them immediately (within hours) and they basically stated that it was somehow my fault, which was ridiculous, and the vehicle was sold “as is”. They apologized after the fact, again. Since the smell was more prevalent when the vehicle was thoroughly warmed up and the fan kicked on, there was no way for me to notice this during the test drive. In addition, prior to purchase, I asked them multiple times to rinse off the dirty motor, to look for leaks, and the reason the GM (Dennis) gave me for not doing it was that they didn’t “trust” their lower wage hourly people in the back to rinse off their motors due to the potential for issues they could cause. Again, no resolution or offer to stand by what they sold. I am now forced to cover all costs on my own after spending 30k on the used Jeep.The soft top and misstated accessories debacle is what it is and the radiator problem will most likely cost a few hundred to repair. I will move forward as planned, but I thought it was important to capture how they operate from a sales and customer service perspective. For the record, this is not a quick reaction to a bad sale. I attempted on several occasions to get resolution and to give them an opportunity to make it right; which, never happened.

Friendly employees, but management is failing. Took my truck in once and when I got there I was told all the mechanics called in sick. No one bothered to call and tell me ahead of time.Finally got the truck in a different time. This time the mechanics showed up but it took them an extra day than they expected, but no one thought that the customer was important enough to call and inform. I told them ahead of time I needed the truck for work, I even called to check on the status and they still ghosted me. Poor management and sad customer service.

Johnson Auto of Laramie was excellent. I took them my 98 Jeep Cherokee to replace the rear oil seal and oil pan gasket. They had it looked at within hours and had me back in my vehicle while parts were on order instead of just keeping it a whole week. They had it back in the shop as scheduled the next Friday and repairs would have been done that day excepting some unforeseen circumstances. They communicated with me asap and even though my vehicle took a little longer they took care of me and had it back to me the next business day. Now its running like a champ. Brought my car in to service a second time, I told them they should check the bolts on my sway bars because I dont think they tightened them and they are loose, they called me telling me something completely different was wrong. While I was at work yesterday, I lifted my car and checked to see if they where loose, sure enough I was right. Never going there again, would not recommend there service whatsoever. There mechanics are clueless and its sad a tire tech knows more.

Our family was on the way home from Yellowstone and we broke down in Laramie, we didn’t have a whole lot of extra time for our trip home because we needed to be back to work Monday. Service department told me the wrong date, so when I drove 120 miles up on my one day off, they did not perform the service. I asked them to purchase the parts so I could self perform the work, and was told that they had not even ordered the parts. I asked them to do so, and when I came in to pick them up they had ordered half the necessary quantity because they cant tell the difference between EACH and PAIR.Long story short, they cant even manage to order parts or schedule appointments. After wasting two different days I gave up on them. Theyre pathetic.
