Super excellent and friendly service. They gave me options on what I could do for repair on my road bike tire and shared their knowledge in a way that was really helpful and respectful. It is also a generally comfortable/welcoming atmosphere. It was my first stop when I got to town (I’m passing through) and I left with great info on places to go while I’m here. I definitely recommend going to this shop!

Just got my old bike a Doctors visit. These guys were awesome. Bike flys like a bird. And they took into account it wasn’t …new, and fixed it up on a budget. Pros

We were traveling the Transamerica Trail from east to west and we’re about 70 miles away from Lander when my wife’s rear derailleur cable broke. We made it to Jeffrey City and we able to get a ride 58 miles to Lander. Thanks Lisa for the ride, and thanks for taking us to Gannet Peak Sports! Ed expertly repaired the cable, and tuned both of our bikes. This shop is unlike anything we have ever experienced. We were greeted, welcomed, given refreshments, and we enjoyed great conversation while we waited. Kudos to both Ryans and to Jenn. We wholeheartedly recommend this bike shop to anyone who needs repairs or a new bike.

If you are a cycling tourist, you will find no one better than Gannett Peak Sports.These guys dropped everything to help me make sure my rig was running in tip top shape before I continue onto some pretty desolate parts of the country! In the midst of riding a portion of the Trans Am, we stopped in to Gannett Peak Sports, where I received the service Ive ever had from a bike shop, hands down. I was having trouble with my shifting and my brakes, and Ed immediately got on task and fixed both problems with professionalism and good grace. Ed and others on staff also helped me out with various other things related to my bike and to the trip. Such a great shop! Thanks for being there!

This was quite possibly the best bike shop Ive ever been to. The people were great, they talked you through what they were doing to your bike and they obviously knew what they were talking about. TransAm riders get free beer and ice cream. GO HERE.

I was just in Lander for the 4th. The guys at Gannett Peak Sports were great. They helped me with some bike issues and told me the great places to ride. I would rate them at 5 stars just for that but... I had picked up new brake pads for my bike. When I went to put them on, I found they were the wrong ones...my fault. Unfortunately, it was 30 minutes after they closed when I got to the door. One of the guys finishing up for the day, saw and remember me from the day before. I got the right pads and my bike was ready to ride. Thats service!

Wow, wow, wow, what a huge disappointment. Riding the Transamerica trail and since this shop is quite heavily mentioned by Adventure Cycling I had pretty high hopes. I walked in the shop today and before I even got a chance to ask for any help I was greeted by a mechanic with such acrimony and disdain that I was actually shocked. I guess it doesn’t mean much for such a big shop to lose a sale, but after riding nearly 3000 miles every penny I spend is scrutinized. I went down to the Bike Mill and was treated so much better. Don’t be fooled by the “Welcome Transam Cyclists” sandwich board out front- all they offer is surly attitudes.

Amazing team of individuals helped my son create his skate board. I was blown away by the one on one service. Thank you for everything. P.S. he loves the board.

For bikepackers and long distance cyclists this is a must hit destination. Free beer and ice cream is a draw no doubt, BUT it’s the shop culture that will bring me back. Fantastic employees who love the industry they work in and really know what they’re talking about. It’s a great shop and I highly recommend swinging by.

Gannett Peak Sports is the perfect example of the magic of the biking community! They were so kind and welcoming and gave us great trail recommendations. I messed up my planning and didnt realize when the shop closed to return my rental bike, but they worked with me to ensure that I could get my bike and finish my ride anyways! I cant say enough good things!!

I dropped my bike off in the heart of their busy season and told them to take their time fixing it. I got a call within a week that it was ready for pick up. This could be the first time I’ve ridden my bike and not complained because they fixed everything for a price no one would argue with. Fast, effective, worth every penny. These guys are good!

My son and I chose this shop to rent a bike, and we are glad we did. The staff was super friendly and went above and beyond in every way they possibly could. Ed recommended some amazing trails and what the best place to park for them would be, saving us what could have been hours of searching. My son had nearly as good an experience in the shop as he did on the trails. If you need to rent, get gear, buy a bike or service one, this is most definitely the right place to go.

Best bike shop in Wyoming. Hands down. Was in town for work and rented a road bike for a day. Great help all around from staff on set up, sizing, and routes. I’m coming back for vacation next time, and the best part is no need to ship my bikes...these guys have an excellent inventory of top end road and mtb bikes, and the best rates too!

Detoured to Lander during my ride across the US as there was no bike shop on my route for >100 miles. Great place, great people, very helpful. I first called the other shop in town & I got a well try response, but not from these guy. Come on in, no problem they said, dropped everything to get me on my way.

Fast and efficient work, with friendly service. I had a full tune up and part replacement done recently. It was very affordable and my bike feels/looks like new. The next day I was having some unrelated problems, and they took a look and got me in-and-out right then at no extra charge. Great local bike shop.

A big thanks to Gannett Peak for the friendly and speedy service this weekend. I was in town for a bike ride and found on my way down sinks canyon I couldn’t shift my front gears. I made a quick pit stop and I was served right away. After the service my bike did great and got me over to Riverton.I appreciate you taking the time to help me out. This place knows customer service. They are willing to put the time needed into a customer without putting any pressure into the sale. Awesome place to just to see what they have. They specialize in bikes but have selection on many other outdoor activities. I was able to ride right up to the door and get a quick tune up on my bike, leave and continue my ride around beautiful Lander.

I love, love, love this shop!!! The sales people and mechanics all ride, and I find their experience invaluable. They have seemed happy to talk with me extensively to help me find the best bikes and equipment for my needs. And they have gone above and beyond in maintenance for my bikes. Always a joy to visit this shop!

This is one of the best bike shops on the entire trans-am. When I stopped in, Ed immediately went to work fixing my front brake while Tim simultaneously fixed a wheel I had just tacoed (I was impressed he was able to fix it at all)! While this was happening, I was invited to relax and given a beer and ice cream. These folks are great!

I stopped at Gannett Peak Sports during the 5th annual Trans Am Bike Race. I had been having shifting issues for the last 500 miles and Ed and Scott were able to take the time after hours to get my bike back into perfect running condition. Ed recognized that the chain had one link to many and fixed a wonky cassette issue. A master mechanic!! No more babying the drivetrain. Shifting was spot on. One of the best bike shops on the 4,200 mile course. Thanks a million guys!!!

I visited this shop while I was doing the TranAm and can not be more thankful to the employees. My knees were terribly inflamed and in pain; however, after being fitted here the discomfort went away in about a week. I was able to complete the 4400 miles to NJ without any more knee issues. Thank you Gannett Peak Sports!!
