Was early. Safe and got the job done in a timely manner. Did way more then other services we have had in the past. So heating to house with no problems this year.

Id recommend Rhodes Energy to anyone. I just bought my house and the oil furnace looked really bad. They were out the next week to make sure it was safe. The repair team were great they addressed everything and explained as they went. I had nothing to clean up when they were done. Amazing team

Not surprisingly, it was Friday afternoon during a heat wave when our central air conditioning system stopped working. Thinking we were in for a long, hot weekend, I called Rhoads, and to my surprise was told a technician was less than half an hour away and would come to our house as soon as he had finished the job he was doing. In short order, Brian showed up with a man he was training. He quickly determined the capacitor was shot. They replaced it, explained what they were doing, answered my questions, and went on their way. They were courteous, and we soon had a cooler house.

Have been with Rhoads since we moved to this area and have never had a bad experience. Just asked my husband if Brian was the service tech who came the other day and asked what he thought of him and he gave the thumbs up (which he never gives anything or anyone a thumbs up) so based on my husbands recommendation...Brian gets a thumbs up all the way

Rhodes techs were great, open, detailed and honest. Propane sales not so much as they over filled my tank well above 80%. That was discouraging and felt like they wanted to sell more propane after they defined it was not proper to fill above 80% per common national protocol.

Had to get a radiator hot water pipe moved due to a kitchen wall removal/renovation and Kevin, along with his apprentice, took the time to explain to me what they were doing and took their time to do a quality job. My kitchen reno contractor also mentioned after what a great job they did. They were on time, professional and excellent customer service. I have yet to have a bad experience with any Rhoades tech - theyve all been great and explained everything.

The techs who came to my home were friendly and quick in determining the problem with my boiler that heats my home in the winter and heats my water year round. They were in, discovered the problem, and fixed the problem in a very timely manner

A/C went down. Rhoads Energy quickly dispatched Wayne T although late in the day. Wayne identified issue and tried several corrections even working in a very hot attic. End result, the part needed was not available. However Rhoads had a tech over early the next morning. A/C was back.

Great service, they came and went before I knew they were there. left behind a small wrench, can pick up anytime, will leave on back porch.

We just wanted to say thank you to your employees that worked to get our A/C installed. All the guys that showed up last week were very polite and focused. We were out of fuel. He gave us enough fuel until Monday, when they filled our tank. He came late at night but was really helpful and was vert happy to serve us.

Our technicians Roy and Wyatt were great and converted our heating system to natural gas and installed a new boiler and water softener. They work fast, professionally, and took the time to explain all the nuances of the new system multiple times. Micheal (our comfort consultant) gave us a great deal/quote.Edit: I wanted to say its 3 months later, whenever we have had any questions or concerns about our new systems our Rhoads Energy Service Manager Jeremy has been so helpful and super quick to respond. Mike was very personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. He did not waste time completing the propane tank inspection and provided me with all of the necessary information that I needed to set up our heating/cooling system maintenance comfort plan. He also provided me with information about our propane gas fireplace and how to go about scheduling a cleaning and possible upgrade.

Not sure why I have to call to schedule an annual maintenance of my heater since I purchased a brand new one last year. But I called and time was 1pm to 2pm. Service Tech Ryan K. was here before 12:00. Early is very appreciative. He was here almost 2 hrs and was very dirty when finished. Cleaned and also changed the air filter. Recommended getting the chimney liner replaced . Ryan did an excellent job in not the cleanest circumstances. House was built in 1790. This was my first contact with Rhoads Energy and I am extremely impressed! I got same-day service (due to the helpful and polite person who answered my call this morning)!! I got both a delivery of propane gas and also a leak check (both at a more reasonable price than another company I called) . Brian M., the technician who showed up to do the leak check was five-star in every way! He put on booties to come into the house; he was polite and friendly and explained everything to me; he showed me how to start the propane fireplace; he made sure all my questions were answered; he worked efficiently and competently, and overall put a very good face on the company! I seldom have discovered a better company/service person. I highly recommend both!

Mac did a very professional job today.He is very detail oriented and follows company protocol in all his actions.He fixed my furnace problem and then cleaned my furnace. He explained the problem and possible new furnace options.He is knowledgeable in hot water oil furnace systems which were popular in the 1960s,Which is great.He was very polite, prompt and cleaned up the entire work area.He is an excellent worker.

Our service from Rhoads Energy has always been great. Budget plan is reasonable, the yearly service plans are great, and any service requests are answered very quickly, usually the same day. Would definitely recommend!

Mac is a seasoned professional and arrives when expected. His personality and demeanor is always pleasant and knows what to do to fix any issue we have with our system. He also informed us how air scrubbers can help with removing mold, fungus and viruses to improve our indoor air quality. We liked the idea, he had a unit in his truck and it was installed that day.

We lost heat throughout the course of the night. We called Rhoads at 10 AM, and they had a service technician at our place by 2PM. Brian W. did a bang up job, explained the repair and recommendations to me for the future. He seemed honest, and didnt have any high pressured sales pitch, but validated maintenance and repairs to consider for the future.

Work was done in a short amount of time. Very friendly technician.

Matt was pleasant, knowlegible and had my best interests in mind.My only concern: as an emergent after hour call, it took~ 3 hr to arrrive to my home. I felt that was too long to wait.

He provided great recommendations on how to work with Rhoads to use a budget plan to automatically top off my oil tank each month, since its an underground tank and does not have a gauge to read. My husband and I needed someone from Rhoads Energy to look at our furnace which had been tripping on and off for 2 weeks. They sent David N. furnace tech today Sunday, the 9th. He discovered that the sensor was not set correctly and couldnt detect a light or flame so it shut down as a safeguard. David detected and adjusted the unit and solved the problem within minutes. What a high class fuel oil company Rhoads Energy is. We are happy to be members of this energy co-op. Thank you Rhoads.

Scheduled a visit to have a new propane tank placed. The guy who showed up was nice but the woman in the office we had to deal with for tank sizing and pricing was not. Pricing for buy/lease was very convoluted. You could buy one size but only lease another, and so on an so forth. It came down to the fact that Rhoads wanted garuanteed fills on our tank and they just didnt believe theyd get enough money, (fills) out of us on certian sized tanks -even though I explained thoroughly the size of the monstrous new commercial range I just installed and how much we typically cook.Its like they just werent interested in our business unless it was clear to them that they would be making above a certain threshold.So I called around. It appears that Rhoads is on the high end of the cost spectrum when it came to a tank install and buy/lease/fill. Almost everyone was cheaper for the same equipment and services. We settled on Ressler Propane, since they were very streamlined on their pricing, were cheaper on their pricing, and believed what we were trying to communicate to them.

My husband and I recently moved into our new house that had a heating oil tank to supply the house with heat and hot water. We were new to using this type of utility service, as our previous home had gas heat. We did not keep a close eye on how full our tank was, and we of course ran out of oil on a chilly Friday night. I contacted Rhoads Energy that next morning and they responded over the weekend right away, and had someone come out to fill us up on Monday morning! The service tech even called us 30 minutes ahead of his arrival so we could leave work and meet him at our house, without needing to wait at home all day for him to arrive in between a window of time like other service providers tend to do. We know who we will be using as our long term provider moving forward! Thank you Rhoads Energy for your fantastic customer service!

Brian ascertained my problem over the phone - air in my heating pipes, arrived even earlier than he said he would and checked out my whole heating system (including opening certain valves which were leftclosedby a previous technician who performed annual mainatainace) and also bled the air out go my pipes hot water could circulate. He did all this in a pleasant professional manner.
