Tight on a budget I accidentally went a few dollars over what I wanted. Instead of taking a few things off they were eager to put away my stuff instead. They didnt even put everything back i didnt know till I got home and realized its not here. Otherwise, always love the experience
Foods cheap good deals just bring your own bags
Lidls employees are friendly and helpful. I love the atmosphere.
Pronounced Leedle as if it rhymed with Needle, I wasnt exactly wowed by my shopping experience. They carry some brand named items (not that important except when it comes to TP). The store was pretty well sold out of a lot of items on a Saturday night.I liked that the cold cases were closed so the freezers werent wasting energy. I disliked that the selection of their products wasnt that great. If you come here with a definite list of must haves you will likely be disappointed. This is like an Aldi or Grocery Outlet type of store where they have what they have but they do routinely carry lots of items like bread, cheese and meat.I wont make this my home base store. I might wonder in here on a buzzed Wednesday afternoon to look at the random home goods and clothing that Id likely end up donating to Community Aid at a later date. The cashier panicked when I asked what the store phone number was, not sure what that was about. This is a land of interesting brands youve never heard of and impulse buys. Be forewarned
Saving money feels good. Saving money on products that you need, and use, is why I will be going to lidl. Fresh veggies, well priced meat and fish, and the cheerful employees also..
Pleasant employees, clean store and lots of different items.
Staff, would help if you smiled and acted like you enjoy your job. This one chick was a little cold at the register. All I said was I dont need to purchase a bag. I have two capable hands to carry . I thought I was being lighthearted and fun.
They had a great price on cherries. And yummy soft pretzels at the bakery. They also have a unique selection of products store wide that you will not find at traditional grocery stores. Its worth a visit for the experience!
I love Lidl. Their is easy to use and we got a coupon tonight! We didnt see too much staff but it didnt take away from the charmp or service provided. The prices are lower than most but it still depends on what you buy. I did miss seeing the chocolate croissants and Irish cheese. I hope they bring those back! I will always return to Lidl.
Prices, selection, and quality are all pretty good. The one downside is the checkout process. The checkout is pretty rushed. If you are going there by yourself, you will need to unload your cart and reload it by yourself while people are waiting for you to move out of the way so they can start the next persons cart. Good exercise, but I think it may be stressful for some people. Usually only a couple checkout lanes open when I have been there.
Nice clean store decent prices. Although they dont always have sale items. They sell out quickly. So sales are not available since stock is low and that sell out first day
Not a fan. Stopped in to get cake mix for my son’s birthday and check out the store. Couldn’t find any in the baking isle. No empty spaces labeled cake mix. Asked 3 employees if the had cake mix. They all said in baking isle if we have it. So this store doesn’t sell cake mix. No sense in shopping at a store that has such a small selection of products. The supermarket down the road has everything I need. Haven’t been back since.
Great store... very nice selection of items. Lidl brand items are very high quality too!
Great store...variety and product selection along with prices are the reasons...just love the bags.
Good place for discount groceries. Fresh baked goods, produce, meats, etc. Husband was amazed at steak. Delicious and discount. Double win.
Love the prices and well clean place but they need more cash registers open in the busy times of the days.
Ive been waiting for the renowned cast iron dutch ovens to show up...and today was my lucky day! I was wary of the Lidl when it was being constructed and first opened, because I was worried it was going to make the already congested Good Drive impassable. However, it has actually made the intersection better with an added lane and traffic light. Ive been to Lidl three times now and here are some of the things I like about it:1. Thoughtful Covid measures including a sanitizing station for carts and an electronic counter that tells you how many customers are in the store at a given time.2. Friendly efficient lovely staff. I have not met one less than stellar employee so far.3. Lidl brand nuts and tortilla chips. On point.4. Clean and well laid out. Ample signage of whats in the aisles.5. I just like saying Lidl.Keep up the good work!
Love this store. Prices are good and theres always new finds.
A beautiful clean store. I enjoy the sales and the selection.
Lidl..the tagline does not lie. Exceptional quality, suspiciously low prices is absolutely right. I buy practically all my supermarket needs here now. Even stuff Im not supposed to buy...or need. Baked goods...amazing! Price..amazing! European quality, amazing!
Love it for the prices and variety of items. Make sure to check dates though many can be rapidly approaching.
First time shopping here. Prices seemed good. I did make about 25.00 in random, unplanned purchases because they have random things I didnt need but still bought. I like the cash register bagging area, I see how it speeds up the line.
Selection is decent. Clean and tidy. Well organized. I was even okay with the needing to purchase the bags aspect as well. However, what I was not okay with was the very rude cashier who basically made us feel bad for not being fast enough at bagging our own groceries. Also overpriced compared to competitors.
Fully stocked shelves, great selection, good prices and friendly staff . 10 out of 10 in my book.
Similar to an Aldi store they have a good selection of items at cheap prices
Nice store, Great choice of items. Good prices. My FAVORITE grocery store.
Lidls is great! A nice change, it not big which i love, you buy the basics and a little of different types of food and your out of there. The cashiers are fast the store is clean and the parking lot works. Im a very satisfied customer.
Its ok. Good place to go to pick up a few things. Does not provide bags. There are paper and a large reusable bag for a cost. You dont know that until you check out.
Discount grocery store. I had never seen or heard of this chain, but it was pretty much just a different name for Aldi. Pay for your cart, bring your own bags. Some good deals- Avocados were $0.30. Shelves were a bit bare, and checkout was understaffed. Fine if you need something quick.
Great Customer Service!! Clean store, good prices and food selection!
Shopped there for the first time and was impressed. I could go on and on about the store design and available stock. But I was most impressed with the staff.Very helpful, caring and acting like they owned the store.....They were proud and wanted the customers to enjoy their shopping experience.
Always courteous staff. Always great prices on produce!
The store is very nice, lots of inventory, good pricing and clean.
Went to get the grapes for 99¢ a pound and they are delicious
I must begin by saying: theres nothing wrong with Lidl. Overall I was mostly satisfied. If Aldi wasnt a quarter mile down the road, this rating would be higher, but it is, and Lidl just simply doesnt compare. Aldi has much better prices, and overall I think it has a better selection of items Id actually want to buy. Lidl unquestionably has a higher overall selection - and maybe that will benefit you personally - but for me, it just doesnt. More importantly, I feel Aldi does a better job of offering items for dairy and gluten restricted diets, which is a priority for me.A lot of the higher selection at Lidl is in a way that doesnt functionally matter to me either. For instance, it might have 5 brands of cherry tomatoes. Aldi has 2. But its still just cherry tomatoes. I dont need five varieties. Im still going to be able to get cherry tomatoes at either location. Lidl does have more brand name items, too (hellmans, heinz, jif, etc) but that doesnt appeal to me either, and the price on those isnt substantially different than in a store like Giant or Wegmans. Overall, if Aldi didnt exist, Id shop at Lidl every week, but since it does, Ill be going back to Aldi for my primary shopping location.
I was disappointed that the bread slicer was not in use. The rye bread that I bought was difficult to slice by hand. I fear for my life when I buy a loaf. Solution is:dont buy it. I thought there would be more European stuff, just the same old standard American fare.
Store has good prices but the layout is confusing.
Great selections. Easy to find anything you are looking for. Good deals and thankful I dont have to visit several stores for everything on my grocery list. Only con I noticed was the aisles are very narrow so it is nearly impossible to social distance when the store is crowded
It has some of the best French bread or baguette as well as the mozzarella cheese.
Store just opened here at Columbia ave. The prices seem very good. The two people I interacted with one I had a question the other was the cashier, were both very helpful and friendly. I would recommend here for food shopping. They do have other things besides food. Similar to aldi.
As always great shopping experience.. fast and friendly checkout.. great selection
Need to get their store right. If your EBT. card does not slide. You have to pay for it with your debt card. What if you dont have the money on your card..All other stores will let you put in the numbers. Git your system together please.
Awesome. Best produce around. Prices outstanding. They carry foods, gifts for both ppl and pets. Flowers and plants healthy n prices good. You cant always find what you want in foods but the savings is worthwhile shopping at Lidl
I love shopping here!
They have things that are different but their prices are really reasonably so stop in and check this store out. Im sure you can find something that fits your needs, I always do
Great shop, amazing selection. Really worth the time to goto.
Large variety of items.Great competitive prices!
Great place to shop friendly employees
I liked their safety protocols. Sanitized shopping carts, hand sanitizers n hand gloves available. Great prices n variety of items even their plants r beautiful. Lovely orchids
Nice selection of everyday goods. Random assortment of various things as well. Good prices.Only negative mark was because they had very clear markings for social distancing but when it got busy at the line they were trying to get people to move in closer to make room. I know they are new, but if you have social distancing policies they should be followed. Would be better if they limited customers to avoid crowding at this time.
Lidl is interesting to us, having lived in Europe we find a lot of products we love at affordable prices.
Clean with great prices!! Bread and Meat departments were the best!
Is new American stores
It was good. Some things are a little expensive but they have good options specially when you are on a diet. And the place is very nice and clean.
Great store, great prices. Lots of imported food. Top notch quality.Very clean and safe storeSenior hour Tuesday & Thursday 7 to 8 am
Ive been to several Lidl stores in MD and PA. On the evening of December 21st, I was disturbed to see an employee doing her own personal shopping wearing only a face shield. Why no mask? At first I thought it was a regular customer, but no, she was definitely wearing a Lidl shirt. I thought about mentioning this to the cashier, but why bother, I wont be going back to this location because of their shameful Covid-19 protocols.
I am not impressed with the Columbia Ave, Lancaster, PA location.
Excellent employees that actually care! Great to see more grocery stores with low cost and wonderful employees.
Great deals. Friendly service
I love seeing what Lidls has to offer! We dont go there for normal groceries, just for their specialty items. The cost is not so expensive and it is just a great store to walk through!
It started off good, bakery was good but its going to be just another store. Aldis has nothing to worry about.
Similar to Aldis with a pleasant flow of store. Great prices available. Cashier was super fast. Would go again
Reminds me of Aldi but a little nicer
2nd time there. Clean store and nice bakery. It carries some name brand items as well as its own label.
Awesome interesting items great prices no frills type of store..i like browsing here and Aldi often never know what you find.
Good place find stuff that you normally find in this kind of place.
Nice place however limited products for customers. This is not a one time supermarket like Shoprite !
Good prices competitive with Aldis but they were out of ALL the specials that they advertised that I was looking for. Therefore I am not likely to go back. I felt it was a wasted journey
I dont get a lot but everything I see out looks really good and fresh. Just wish they would have Pepsi products
Prices are more than Aldi, Smart Shopper and Grocery Outlets. The register is a nightmare, there is no way or place to bag your groceries. I will stick with Smart Shopper.
Love it! great deals. nice staff. fully stocked!
Nice and clean with great bakery selections and produce. Ample parking and variety of items.
Great store to do your groceries at real nice employees
Great bakery, great prices. Aldi has really slipped and Lidl is a better option
An awful experience! From the start, out of hand sanitizer at front of store. Staff stocking shelves with masks below nose. Only 2 registers open. No direction for line. Cashier was incredible rude to woman in front of me trying to bag her own groceries as quickly as possible. Told me to put my groceries back in my cart and bag from there. No cleaning protocols in place at all at register! For the few dollars saved- absolutely NOT worth it.
This place went downhill since it opened shelves are always empty of alot of stuff been there twice in the last 2 weeks and have nothing I needed. Went to Aldi
Great selection hard time finding things very different layout.
Clean new entrant into local grocery market. Good prices good quality watch some dates interesting selections meat is of good value and quality I find.
Great prices and lots of variety.
Store was very over crowded. High prices for a so called discount grocery outlet. I noticed they were pretty much same price as Weis markets and Giant
Had interesting items, nice bakery, and meat department, if Im in the area again Ill stop in and shop,
It was ok priced to high for me seems this store has a close competitive store in the area. Aldis
The place is very neat and clean, the food prices are very reasonable, some too good to be true .There is a hand washing station outside the store before entering, there is plenty of parking..The only down fall is you bring your own bag or buy theirs..I
Great prices but did not know that you had to have app to get sale prices as I have never been to a Lidl store or even heard of it before. Cashier was rude about it as well. Bakery was not very impressive. Donuts were dry. Produce was mostly rotten so didnt buy. Would go back for certain things but not all.
It was ok. Huge variety of items from food to chainsaws. Some items at great prices. Others just average.. Didnt know you had to bring your own bags, though.
Nice grocery store with great rates.
Its too new yet, havent had a chance to fully compare prices and quality. It does look good though for a German based store...no liverwurst?!
Went on a Saturday afternoon and the store was rather crowded. The bakery section looked nice, although the store was out of many items. The Produce section was fairly wiped out including bagged salad, celery, heads of lettuce, onions. Frozen entrees and frozen pizza section was almost empty. There were no liquid coffee creamers left except a large size name brand. Much of store devoted to low quality non food items which was puzzling. Much more than competitors Aldis. Store appeared to try to maintain some Covid 19 precautions, although one clerk was wearing his mask below nose at checkout. About 20 percent of customers not covering their noses or wearing their masks below chin. It was a rather dissapointing experience. I will go back on a weekday morning to see if improved.
A little unorganized feeling. I think its just because the options in each aisle change up alot. But lots of options, I went just for Italian foods . Great imports.
Pretty good prices and selectionWish staff were more friendly. Still like aldi better but great alternative
Very good prices. Its worth going to. Friendly and clean.
The manager was doing a great job keeping everyone moving even though there were some issues with the registers.
Nice experience.
Fairly new store seems like it still needs more staff. Veggie section kind of uncomfortable to reach. That being said will still shop here.
Not impressed with the quality of merchandise and the prices are a little too much
Generally better prices than most supermarkets, somewhat limited selection (but still good) bring your own bags. I will shop here again.
I was so excited to try this store and went in with my boyfriend who is a shopper for SHIPT. The groceries and pricing were fantastic but I found the staff super unfriendly. So much so that I am writing this review. They were really unsure of how to handle the SHIPT order and werent very helpful in getting us the boxes we needed to take the purchased order out of the store. Great selection and prices though.
Very convenient shopping...cheap prices...could be a little more organized but thats my ocd talking lol
I love this place they have everything at a decent price.
