I have never been to a royal farms before, my friend and I just stopped in late tonight for sandwiches (which were good) but honestly I was really happy, the two employees there were just super kind and friendly. I haven’t experienced that anywhere in awhile. def recommend and appreciated their service. :)

Very clean and bright! Fresh food made to order. Lots of different options when it comes to snack type food. Large selection of hot and cold drinks! Indoor and outdoor seating. Also have a car wash.

Chicken is on point,but Im gonna give them a good vote on quality,but expensive.Sometimes its better to pay the full price,overall a place I would go back to in a couple months.

This is the worst experience Ive ever had. I been here waiting for an order for 30 minutes that was ordered and while everyone that orders here are getting there food they marked it ready for pickup and had me here this whole time. Also I saw the guy hand people the wrong order take it back and hand to someone else like 3 times since I been here. The staff member that marked it done and ready is Mandy. So rude she is. She looks like she is so unhappy I asked her for her name and she took her badge and pulled it to me with a rude face and didnt say anything. To update i was there 42 minutes for an online already ordered order that I had to drive there and pick up.

Stopped in for some “famous” chicken over lunch. Good thing I get an hour because I needed it. Slow as can be. By the time I got my chicken sandwich, it was barely warm. Overpriced on top of it all.

Came here because they were advertising 20 cents off per gallon with a car wash. So I bought a car wash then proceeded to go into the store to buy by my gas to get the 20 cents off. I was just standing there while the employee named Alex (Women) was to worried about getting the to go orders ready not paying any mind to myself or the other customers that were in line. She finally came to the register and started to help the customers. Then it was my turn and I asked how I get the .20 off per gallon and she said oh well you have to buy the car wash and the gas at the same time to get the discount but that is posted no where in the store. Then she stated even if you wanted the discount you couldnt have had it the coupon code has not been working for a week not my problem. She was nothing but rude and disrespectful and only care about the door dash orders.

This car wash is pretty bad - I just rolled the dice on this place and there are parts of my vehicle that didnt even get wet. Im not sure how thats even possible, but here we are.Skip this place - other places do a far better job at a lower cost.

*Like all the places around here, at first its good then it goes downhill. We stopped in for chicken and fries and after 14 minutes of waiting, I was told there were no fries and it would be another 15-20 minutes wait time. I already paid and the supervisor offered to refund ALL my money, but we still wanted the chicken and rolls. When I walked back to the counter to pick up what was filled of our order, I looked and guess what?? There were fries behind the glass!! But they couldnt sell them to us. Really?? Customer service offered a free order of fries to us the next time we go in, it might be a while before that happens.

Ordered two chicken sandwiches and both where wrong. Didnt have on items that was ordered. Didnt know this till got home. Really??? Guess getting out quantity of food instead of quality. Wont be stopping there again.

I specifically use this royal farms for the additional discount when purchasing a car wash, however it is completely pointless if the car wash is always “closed for maintenance” seemingly every week for days on end. Is there ever a week where it’s not closed??? Calling the store won’t help either, the people had no idea when it would reopen…

Update 5/9/21 at 8:00pm: There were two girls behind the food counter who were making disrespectful remarks towards eachother. One of them was making my quesadilla & the other one was watching her do it poorly but she just walked away & started doing something else. Although the girl who took over was making comments about how the other girl doesn’t care about working here, the girl who walked away clearly had an attitude & didn’t care. This isn’t the first time the girl had an attitude with doing her job. Another time, she refused to work on the register & said, “I’m not doing that” with a line full of customers & someone else came over & opened a line. She clearly doesn’t want to work there, so something should be done about her. I wish I knew her name.

Chicken girl was rude as hell. Got a 20 piece family meal she continued to lay everything (10iteams) out on the counter, when my order was up it was up to me to go to the cashier area get bags and do her job in between customers ordering. Looking at other reviews looks like this clown show wont be fixed anytime soon.

THE TERRIBLE STAFF this place is absolutely horrific! NO STARS There is this horrible staff member who is ALWAYS there working nights n she could not be more rude and completely awful I cringe when I see her and she waits on me because her outward misery towards every customer I’ve ever witnessed her come in contact with is despicable that women should NOT WORK AROUND PEOPLE n I cannot be the only 1 who has complained about her ! Plus ... they need to update the hours because they’re closed by 10 and haven’t been opening until 430

Some of the employees need to be taught manners when dealing with the public. Even a little smile is better than a scowl. When spoken to, the employee needs to answer verbally instead of casting an evil look at a customer. When the customer thanks the employee, she should say “You are welcome” instead of again no response coupled with a dirty look.

This place was great until they started charging a premium for dipping sauce, and putting them in tiny cups too, printer ink is probably cheaper than their Chesapeake sauce. Shady.

Looking forward to RF chicken; hadnt been to new 741 location. Night of 7th went in to order and woman with glasses wearing her mask around her neck was attending to the raw and cooked chicken. She was talking to her associates, it wasnt good. So disgusting just walked out.

Used to love this place for a quick evening meal.Ordered as usual and was told that my order would take a little longer...no problem. Grabbed my food in rush, came home and realized half the order was missing.Salt on the wound - I tried calling and no one answers the phone. Disappointed.

I went there last week and ordered a chicken tender sandwich with American cheese and honey mustard. After ordering I was told I had to wait 6 minutes for chicken tenders which turned into 10 and I was late for work from my break. I got back to work and my sandwich had no cheese and no sauce. Went today and ordered a spicy chicken sandwich with ranch and got back to work and there was no ranch on my sandwich. Will not be going back

I tried the new Royal Farms in Lancaster last week. Not impressed . Ordered a 12 piece family meal. Was suppose to get 2 large sides and dinner rolls. Got 4 small sides. 2 mash potatoes with gravy. 1small mash potatoes no gravy, and 1small dried Mac and cheese. Oh yea no dinner rolls! I tried to reach out to them a couple of times. BUT NO RETURN CALLS! If there is a voicemail that says youll call back, then you should follow through and do it.

Tried Royal Farms for the first time after seeing reviews on Lancaster Online, upon opening, that royal farms had the best fried chicken ever, only to discover that royal farms chicken is not that good and below average, at best. It was overly salty. Flavor was off. Skin was falling off the chicken in my hand. KFC chicken is hands down much better and around the same price. Mash potatoes at royal farms werent bad. The only saving grace from my meal was the Mac and cheese. That was delicious. However, the hero of the meal should have been the chicken.

Fries were under done. They were more like mashed potatos in thin skin. Mac and cheese tasted like an off brand of the generic brand of Krafts. The chicken was ok-ish to start but I didnt like it as I kept eating... Ended up giving it to my dog. Overall prices provided an overrated communication per the quality of food. Disappointed.

Worst customer service around the clock. It doesnt matter if it was 10:00 in the morning or 10:00 at night. Chicken shrunk in size almost in half since they first opened and super dry and bland. Save your money and time and go somewhere else!!!

Tried to get fuel there tonight. Pump refused to allow me to enter my zip code. 3 tries later, my fingers were numb from the cold (5° before the wind chill). Finally left and went to Sheetz. Their card reader worked just fine. I never have been impressed with any Royal Farms Ive been too.

For a relatively new location, the store and bathroom were dirty. Not a fan of the sink/air hand dryer combination set up The force of the air from the dryer blew water up from the sink (which was dirty) onto my face!! Not a pleasant experience.

The so-called manager was lazy, kept running my card as credit when I said debit and imputed by pin, then blames the system. I paid for a small amount of gas, I run out to the pump, the pump wasnt even activated, I go back inside and she said the pump times out if I dont use it fast enough, which it wasnt even on in the first place! Then she said it will take a few days for the money to go back on my card and she blames the system again, cant give me a cash refund or even tried to turn on the pump again like they would do at Turkey hill or Sheetz, then Im stuck with an empty tank, and a empty bank account! She keeps repeating like a dumb parrot you have so much time to pump gas before it times out She needs to be fired, and the place shut down! And this was the second attempt to put gas in my car after I tried to put a measly five bucks in it to try to make it home, she messed that up too by wasting my time inside the store because the pump I was at was 10 cents more than the other pumps and all she said was it takes time for it to show on the pump, if the receipt doesnt have the updated price, we will give you the difference She was so slow and nobody even acknowledged me with a simple hello or even noticed that I walked inside, even when trying to get their attention, the pump timed out and I lost $5.00! I WASTED ALMOST $10.00 OF THE LAST OF MY MONEY ONLY TO HEAR HER SAY ITLL TAKE A FEW DAYS TO GO BACK ON THE CARD BECAUSE OF HER INCOMPETENCE I WAS ALMOST STRANDED IN THE COLD RAIN I have had enough of the staff their and I will be seeking legal advice from my personal attorney!

Service sucked...ordered chicken and they didnt have any when it was dead not a sole in the place... The girl asked me if I wanted to wait while she made it and would take 30 min. i asked for a refund she was rude and slow at doing that. I am very said by this because was looking forward to royal farms coming close to my house but this one just cant get together ever.

Visited the new store in Lancaster, Pa. Very disappointed in this operation. Unlike Wawa and Sheetz, RFarms charges for air for your tires. Also they have annoying loud music under the canopy. The entrance/exit for this location is a nightmare. Lastly when I tried their chicken it was very dry and difficult to chew. Ive contacted the local store but have not had a follow-up from anyone. Wasnt impressed.

I visited the rohrerstown Lancaster pa store location. I purchased a Chicago hotdog . After a long shift as a nurse I just wanted something quick to eat . I got home and ate half the hotdog, looked down and noticed the bread was all moldy . Immediately I felt sick to my stomach. I tired calling the store over 5 times but no answer. I went in to talk to the store manger. She apologized and did refund me $2.99 for the hotdog . I ask her how something like this could be missed . She said that the gentlemen who made my hotdog notice the whole pack of bread as moldy . I’m sorry but I will no longer eat here . This was my first and last time . I feel sick to my stomach . A refund isn’t enough . Their employees need better training . The whole time I was explaining myself they were laughing . I don’t find anything funny about this . I consumed something moldy on behalf of your company and employees . I’ve worked in the food busy with food and never a day that I’ve work did we have moldy bread on the shelf and I’ve worked at sheets gas station and arbys, etc . Just warning everyone out there . Check your food before eating !!!!!
