Generally overpriced, worst parking lot of any grocery store I visit. Good quality fresh food, but not enough to justify the higher prices.
Nice store, clean and organized but...Feels super cramped with extra high shelves. They only had one regular cash register open, but had all the self-check out registers only with an inattentive lady working for assistance. They have the worst self-check out registers ever!
Ever since they remodeled this store, Ive had a very hard time finding the foods I need to buy. The isles are very thin, so it seems like if theres another shopper in the same isle it seems like you are shopping on top of each other. I will only go to this Kroger if its absolutely necessary. I prefer the Kroger on N. Memorial Drive. Their isles are very wide and their food/goods are easier to see and choose from compared to this Kroger location.
They lied to me about carrying a product. After I drove 45 miles to get there. Very disappointed.
As always love it my #1 store 😃❤
Love the workers in this Kroger. They are all super friendly and will help you find something if you can’t find it!!
Newly remodeled, clean and pleasant.need to restock, a lot of missing items. Very busy place. Friendly and helpful employees. Will go back.
The store has a great selection and a good layout. Found everything I was looking for. Since the store was busy the lines were long at checkout.
Great customer service & prices
While I love my local Kroger- and I adore Peggy at the Starbucks, it’s absolutely ridiculous that they put her in there alone on weekend mornings. Two staff on a Wednesday afternoon when no one is needing coffee. It’s such a petty complaint. But Peggy deserves better.
Good variety of grocery items. Cashier at self check was super friendly and extremely helpful.
Always easy to find employees if you have a question. Better off taking anything you need to know the price on to the register however. The stores price check machines either dont work or are blocked off by displays and product. The staff are for the most part friendly.
Tried to serve me there food display at the starbucks. Thats disgusting. She told me its ok its been there since this morning. Its now 12:22 in the afternoon.
Employees are always very helpful and go out of their way to make sure the customers are taken care of. Even though this store has been remodeling for months it has always remained clean.
Like everyone else I have been using click list. I ordered yesterday for pickup after work (4-5 slot) called at 4:19, it is now 5:29 and I still have no groceries. WHY is this not staffed properly? If its a service you offer, make it work! Only 1 person working at a time? Insane!!! Will not be back, no fault of the poor girl running her butt off.
My favorite grocery store. The best produce!! Fair pricing.
So many reasons for a 1 star. Recently Kroger has begun stealing your money at check out and forcing people to comply with wearing masks and human contact distancing when everyone employee was breaking every rule themselves. The other side to refusing you change at a register, is to make you want to use the self checkout that will soon replace employees. Not only that but Kroger stole money from every employee who got hazzard pay for the current virus that is apparently. going around. Not to mention underpaying cute young females to hang around all day to be overseen by older males.
My covid-19 experience was pretty sub par today. Most customers and even several to most of the employees were not wearing masks or wearing them incorrectly. Since this Kroger is doing renovation there are no floor signs for social distancing; sometimes there isnt even enough space to get by one another (pharmacy).
Always the best nicest people work there especially in the pharmacy theyre always busy but always smile and very nice. Especially the girl that checked me out today She always remembers my name out of all those customers I hear her with others too shes fantastic I cant remember her name thats terrible Ill get it and come back
Very busy today alot of stock was out but over all a good experience
Kroger has a vast variety just about everything you could possibly want when going to a grocery store . Great cheese selection they will even give you a sample so you can make a sound decision . Starfacks is also in the store if you want to get an over priced cup of java .
This is my local Kroger ( about a 5 minute drive from the house) so convenience is a big advantage. The store is always clean and the staff is very friendly. Prices are generally good, some higher and some lower, which seems to be the case everywhere.
It is 100 times BETTER than Giant Eagle
Great
I go there when I need to pick something up and leave real quick. The lighting is to dim and the store is to small for todays standards and shopping experience. I prefer to go to the new one in town over this one when I have the time.
Always super busy. Parking is often hard to find. The selection is good and staff helpful. A larger store and parking area is needed.
Good place to shop. Get a map to find items. Dont be surprised if items you want are sold out. Checkout usually quick even during peak times.
I come here every weekend to do shopping for my dad. The store is always clean and the staff is friendly. Unfortunately, when I go into the store (usually in the morning) the shelves are often empty in random areas, meaning I have to go grab someone to pull an item from the back. The first couple of times it was no big deal, but some times it takes twice as long to get through the store. In all, I would recommend it to anyone in the area, but Id go a little later in the day on the weekends.
Its my home store, basically. I know where things are, I appreciate the sense of the place, the layout, I love the deals I find! They recently redid the produce section and I love it! Its clean, its friendly, I love this Kroger. Most importantly, although they sometimes have long lines their check out experience is very good. The tellers are patient with me and helpful with packing into my reusable bags, and when I have been especially harried and hampered with a big load and balancing entertaining a toddler or whatever the case is, someone has offered to help me out to the car. And it IS a huge help and a greatly appreciated one.
Love going to Kroger. Great prices and lots to choose from. I like both of the Kroger stores. Staff are amazing.
The Kroger grocery store on East Main Street in Lancaster, Ohio is a very good store to shop at. If you are into organic foods, they have a wife selection under their Simple Truth brand.
Like their deals but you have to watch the fine print. Sometimes the deals are real good.
Clean store, shelves stocked good. Employees helpful and friendly. Great variety of produce. I go from the West side to the East side to shop.
This was my first experience at a Kroger‘s where I come from there is new store such as Kroger‘s near me. I thought the store was decent and size have a lot of different items from your typical vegetables to your extravagant noodles and fresh food they have a decent bakery and decent selection all around very clean store fast service and clean store as well did not see too many employees though but either than that fantastic store just like any other grocery store chain liked it a lot will go back
Kroger is my grocery store now that Carnival Foods is gone. What a shock!!! I still have a hard time finding things. Their specials each week try to come close to my old store but..... I am getting used to it! The quality of food is good.
If you must visit Kroger in Lancaster, this is the one. It is usually always will stocked with a good selection. Employees are friendly and knowledgeable. Store is always clean.
For the most part I am a Kroger fan but I ran into something today that upset me. They ran paper towels in their weekly ad. Sale started on Wednesday and I stopped Thursday morning before work at 6:30 a.m. I bought the very last two packages on the shelf. Really??? Its a week long sale and your store is out after just one day??? Seems to me you could have planned a little better than that for a sale.
Great assortment, excellent prices. Rewards for gas are better than the others. I cant wait till the BIG Krogers opens up.
The Main Street Kroger is better kept and stocked than the N Memorial Dr location. Was better when they were open 24 hrs as they were the only store open on the East side.
Poor customer service. Rude employee. is all I can say.
Great bakery and the gourmet cheese section is phenomenal. Butcher section is average and the seafood section certainly doesnt rival those of more coastal stores but considering location...Large selection of staples, yogurt, and novelties.
This is the worst pharmacy in the world if I could give negative stars I would they dont do anything to help people out besides tell u to come back they told me twice it was ready to pick up bolth times it was not ready.then the third time she told my girlfriend I already filled it which was not the case it was a completely different medication. Oh and they lost one of my girlfriends medications that she physically handed them .pls do yourself a favor and be prepared to get mad .
Meat is a lot better looking in this Kroger than the new one. Everyone that I have had to deal with at this Krogers has been very friendly. The only downfall is sometimes finding a parking spot.
Holly the cashier was extremely rude to me the last two times I shopped here. The woman behind me in line said the same cashier has been rude to her several times too. This has been my favorite place to shop for years but I refuse to shop where I am disrespected like that. It doesnt help that there is usually only 1 or 2 lanes open so I cant even avoid this woman. She should not be allowed to work around people.
Always fresh produce, wide aisles, pleasant employees!!
I asked a young lady for help. She was great. She took to me to what I needed, and she was very sweet.
I enjoy shopping Kroger sales. Theyre normally fairly good.
Produce is awful. Floors are filthy, hardly any product on shelf. Self checkout takes way too long. Prices are okay, fuel program sucks. Spend $1000 for $1 off a gallon...free gas at Giant Eagle for $500 in groceries a month is more appealing.
My go to place. I love Kroger! The front bathroom usually needs better attention though.
I will ONLY give it a 3 because they ALWAYS run out of everything that I seem to need in the afternoon and do not re-stock until late late at night. I go to the one on the East side because it is closer but the one on Memorial Dr is SO much nicer & much better stocked.
Ive been going to this Kroger for about 7 years now and have never had any problems. The only reason I am now giving this one star review is because of valerie (check spelling) in the self checkout line. We came in got some things and a 12 pack of beer. My 5 month pregnant girlfriend was kind enough to pay for everything. This checkout worker had the nerve to ask my 5 month pregnant girlfriend if she had been drinking today, was hesitant with the identification, and then continued to stare at us the rest of the time we were doing the rest of our check out. How completely disrespectful and uncalled for on her part. I have never felt so awkward and uncomfortable and disrespected in this store.(I am 29 years old and completely capable of buying my own beer.) Again this store has been awesome for everything I need, just a poor performance and reflection of the company on her part.
Clicklist here is awesome but to actually go in to the store is a hassle. They are extremely busy. The parking lot is always packed and the checkout usually has long lines.
Nice Kroger. Well stocked with a good selection and generally well kept and managed. I will dock one star because lately they seem to often not have baggers. If I wanted to bag my own food I would go to Aldi.
If your list has more than ten items on it you pretty much be sure they wont have three of them.
Store is clean and employees friendly and helpful, checkout is usually pretty fast. I have shopped this store almost exclusively for decades and over the last few years have become increasingly dissatisfied. I shop the store brand for savings and almost every trip the store is out of two or three items of their own brand. The store should do a better job of moving items to front of shelves as it very difficult for older people to get on the floor or climb shelves to reach items in the back. Im 56 and can barely reach front of top shelf and have assisted many elderly people to get items out of their reach, maybe buttons to push for assistance could help with this issue. I have bagged my own groceries many times in this store due to lack of baggers and have gone in multiple times where they were out of carts, if they can t keep employees maybe they should take a long hard look at why. I find myself driving across town more often to get better deals at other stores. If another grocery store was opened on the East side this store could be in trouble.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff, majority of the store smells like old seafood though
Same as all Kroger stores, bakery, deli, pharmacy, even a sea food area, no liquor store but a isle with liquor, wine, chardonnay, etc... And they have a beer isle. No wheelchair ramp but you dont need one because its all ground level so you can just wheel through the door, and they have scooters you can you if needed. Only gave 4 stars because sometimes not every single thing is stocked but if you say something to an employee usually they will go to the back and see if they have it back there but you usually have to ask them too and if they have it they will stock it and another reason for the four stars it because there scooters are sometimes broken. I hope I have been of assistance to everyone.
This was the first place we had seen this to buy ready-made Gourmet type dinners by the pound
I have shopped their for 30+yrs. It just not the savings and quality. But the employees are great. I have shopped at memorial drive store and found it to be unfriendly during checkout. I didnt matter what time of day it was. They are supposed to expand to bigger building. I only hope they expand there employees customer service. I know how they are supposed to treat customers. I was for 8+yrs a VP and executive board member of the union that represent the employees U.F.C.W local 1059. I am saddened by their lack of pride at that location
I was very pleased today got a lot of good deals, meat is good prices, soda was on a good deal also
I love Kroger’s I’ve been shopping there for years. Most of the workers are great and the baggers are always a pleasure too talk too. Now I’m the pats couple months I have been going there one of the workers I’ve noticed she is Usually wearing a red vest and her name is meashia I believe. Well i have seen the way that she talks too some of the baggers and says some very immature childish things to the girls and she is very flirtatious with the teenage boys I’ve also heard some of the Kroger workers complaining about the same things. There was on day I was there were she made a huge aren with one of the baggers she yelled form across the store and it was very unprofessional I could go into more detail about some of the things I’ve seen but I’d rather not some one really needs to but that woman in her place I absolutely do not appreciate seeing things like that. Not to mention she’s also very obnoxious!
Beautiful choice prime rib steak $6.95 a pound the meat department was so helpful and told me that T-bone steak was going on sale $5.95 a pound choice
Fresh food at great prices...
This Kroger does not have enough variety. I know its Lancaster but many of us want more ethnic choices and fresh seafoods and better meats and vegetables.
It was extremely busy and a lot of empty shelves but checkout was great.
While I give the staff and the overall selection of items 5 stars, I have to give the store location only two stars. The parking lot is a joke! I am disabled, therefore requiring handicapped parking. On any given day, I usually go shopping around noon to two p.m. and finding handicapped parking at that time is next to impossible. So when looking for regular parking spots, that too is a mess, since Kroger shares their lot with the hospital physical therapy department. So if I dont want to have to park on East Main St, I have to shop before noon, or after 9 p.m. I have a lot of health issues, so I am not functioning well before noon, and I dont go out after 7 p.m. unless I have to. I hope when the new store is built that their parking lot is a much improved one.
Very nice helpful people located what I needed when I can find it instantly very clean well run
Busy place, but quick check out usually and typically a good supply of stuff in stock.
A good place to shop good people and service.
The Krogers was awesome ours in Marietta dont even compare
Actually watched a clerk follow an older white woman throughout the store. She was indeed overweight. It was nice not being the target for once because of the color of my skin. But wanted my ID when I used my debit card. They cashier guy said they knew the fat lady was stealing but just couldnt catch or prove it. I thought has it occured to them perhaps she isnt stealing? He was like no, we know she is stealing items because she leaves with her pockets full. I dont know where the logic is here.
They need a new larger kroger on the east side. Bring the only grocery on the whole east side of town means a very packed parking lot and busy store.
I am a Kroger shopper for sure. In my opinion they offer the best products at the best prices. And this actual store happens to be my favorite because I know where everything is.
Great grocery. Store outstanding selection of foods and drinks very good prices
BEST KROGER EVER AND IT NICE INSIDE SO EIPC!!
Nice for an impromptu lunch with pre-made sandwiches in the deli. Convenient with the self checkout scanners
Was a nice clean place with friendly cashiers. Nice selection of items I needed
Great service and they are open 24 hours. Better prices than their competitors.
Always busy parking lot but seam rto always have such nice and helpful people working who seam to enjoy themselves at work
Great store for shopping. Nice & helpful employees
Open all the time has some to offer people in a variety of available Food supplies hot to frozen or just Food on the run.
Quick & easy to get to from my house. Love self checkout
Well stocked. This is a very crowded Kroger, however, due to high volume of hospital traffic. Crowded parking lot. Otherwise, I love krogering here.
Always walk out happy knowing I saved money. Get the best deals here.
I luv Krogers. Their staff is so nice....
I like that its a smaller store, Im able to get in and out quickly here.
Great store need a better entrance and exit from the store flat entrance at the doors
Incredible cashier named Cami. Shes so sweet to my children and is very friendly.
Wonderful store to go to out on East Main wonderful staff
Fast check out. Always have the shelves stocked
It an amazing place to shop at. It is where we get all of our things from toys to health and body care to our food
Dani the cashier was amazing, you could understand every thing she.
I have always shop at Kroger the best I believe
The store is always busy no other options on the east side of town good people good selection good prices
I shop here more than any other place. The meat department is perfection!
This trip went so smooth, found everything that I needed 2day.
Love Kroger, they have reasonable prices, always have a sale, and you get points towards gas
Reasonably priced foods, but the selection is much less here than at your bigger Krogers.
