Top notch company. Have always gone above and beyond for us. Service is quick and personable. It is the true definition of a family run business with all the personal touch that comes with it. I had requested someone come service my tank. They couldn’t detect the issue. The office called and told me the visit was on the house being that this was my first time experiencing this issue and they did not know why it was not working. (we had just purchased the house and knew nothing about the tank and fireplace). I thanked them for their generosity and was hit with a service bill 1 month later. Money doesn’t matter but the principle of the situation does. We would have been fine if they called and said they could not honor the complimentary visit. We got no call or letter, just an invoice. Needless to say we switched to another local company immediately after.

This is the only oil company in Lancaster County area who was willing to come out to do an emergency fill on a Sunday. It turned out that there was actually an issue with the furnace which the tech fixed in no time. He was incredibly kind and helpful. So grateful for their assistance!

Amazing customer service! I ran out of oil in the middle of a snowstorm on a Sunday night. I called my original oil company and they werent able to do anything to help. I called Scwanger Brothers and got their answering service! She was very polite and was able to help us! The owner himself came out in the middle of the snowstorm on a Sunday at 7pm to bring me enough oil to get my family through the night! I felt terrible for having him come out but I truly appreciated everything! He told me to call first thing in the morning to get a delivery. When I called they said they couldnt guarantee anything but could guarantee that it would be here by Friday. Well, they were out in the same day and filled my oil tank! Ive never known an owner to go to the extent that the owner of Scwanger Brothers did but I am extremely grateful I called them! Because of the amazing customer service they have gained a new customer!

I just switched to Schwanger Brothers and I am pleased. I am on automatic fill so I dont need to worry that my tank going to go empty 😁.Always prompt with answering questions.

Wy at Schwanger Bros was so incredibly helpful! Our hot water stopped working and we were told we would need a new furnace (SUPER EXPENSIVE)! Wy and his time took the time to look into programs that could help us pay for a replacement furnace and they succeeded! We will be receiving a brand new furnace and thermostat at no cost to us because of their extra work! We will definitely be switching our heating oil provider to Schwanger as well! Highly recommended for your heating needs!

I switched to Schwanger Bros. about a year ago. We recently needed to fill our tank with this weird weather so I called for a fill. I ended up on canceling the fill due to funds and then a few days later saw that they had still come (mix up in communication). I was super stressed out and called customer service to resolve the issue. They were really kind and gracious and even took care of some of my balance to make it affordable to me. I really appreciate the time they took and the fact they admitted they made a mistake! wow, that is so unheard of anymore. Schwanger Brothers is a great company with work with and they hold amazing customer service standards and worth you making the switch. P.S. This isnt the only reason I love them. This past year they have always been kind and courteous.

Great people, great Service, fast delivery, and good prices!

We have been using Schwanger for years. We bought heating oil when we had a 100 year old house. When our boiler died, we purchased one from them and they installed the new boiler They kept the old one running for a couple of days, in the middle of winter, until the new one could be installed. When we moved and need to replace our air conditioner, Schwanger installed it. They respond to emergencys right away! They have been safe when coming to the house during covid.This is a family owned business, and they really care!

A few weeks ago I went to clean out soot door and change out filter before turning on furnace. Upon inspecting vent piping I noticed two sections had rusted through since last year! Called Schwanger Bros and set up an a service and cleaning call.They sent out Bob. With talking to Bob, he has 45 years experience in service and repair. The man could have written the book on how to do service and repair. To say he is knowledgeable doesnt cover his expertise!! He did an extremely thorough job and would not leave until he was satisfied with his readings for efficiency on my furnace, which was in the high 80 percentile.If you need service and repair, ask for Bob!!!Thank you Bob and thank you Schwanger Bros for your excellent service!!

Had an emergency last night around midnight. Come to find out I was out of oil!!! I was able to call the emergency line and talk to a live person right away who said he would page the on-call and have them reach out to me. Received a call from Steve and he was enroute to my residence, no questions asked, within a short amount of time.I recently moved and have never dealt with oil heat before. Steve gave me a crash course and explained how my furnace works and approx. how much oil I would use, down to the hour.I highly recommend using Schwanger Brothers. Everyone I have spoken with from the company is very pleasant, and they all seemed very knowledgeable. If I could rate more than 5 stars, I definitely would!

I have enjoyed the service from Schwanger Brothers over the past 5 years. They have went out of their way for me when I ran out of oil during a snow storm (early home owner days!) Whenever I call for an appointment, its generally next day almost every time that I get serviced. I would recommend them.

Honest folks that do good work

BEWARE, if you are having them do repair work for you, you MUST request a not to exceed. I learned that after being informed that my bill would be about $200-$300 that it was nearly $700 and I was never given a heads up until AFTER work was performed. They told me that in the future I need to request a not to exceed, something that would have been nice to know in advance. Ill be looking elsewhere for service work as this is an unfair business practice.

I got charged over $200 for them to come out and tell me my air and heating unit was broken and could not be repaired.

Gentleman was respectful did a good job, but it was Expensive to have work done, I will shop around next time and also know what parts I need before calling a repair service.
