I worked at this establishment. I went through it with an older woman there name Barbara (last name not important). Prior to me working with her, I was told that there was much turn around with the help because she was the common denominator for problems. I worked well with this woman until I surpassed her in getting work done.It was very well known that she was a thorn and it wasnt much I could do because her and the owner Thomas Ressler (DUTCH) were in cahoots. It was so bad the HR lady left. I witnessed Dutch purchase his competitions camping gear and take it apart to adjust either the length or put an extra something on it to make it look like HE DESIGNED IT.I made the decision to leave. He is a thief. If any company had problems or run ins with this guy...guess what you are correct....he is cut throat.Not a truth in him. Hello everybody this Dutch sounds catchy but I guarantee you he aint........

Amazing products. Great customer service, speedy turnaround. Ive been hammock camping for about 15 years, and my Dutchware Chameleon hammock setup is simply amazing. From the small tarpworm tie-outs and other custom titanium and aluminum bits to the entire set-up, Im beyond completely satisfied. Its pretty fun to know that you can have a one-of-a-kind setup with all their customization features. I was intimidated by choosing my own pieces, so I called them up and had someone (Dave) walk me through the lingo and what would be good choices for me. I went to test my new hammock out in the back yard 5 days ago... and have been sleeping there every night this week! Best nights of sleep while camping possibly ever. I cant recommend them enough!

Ordered 2 of the hammock hang time phone stands for myself and my boyfriends ridgelines and there amazing. Super convenient to just kick back and relax and watch something in the hammock. Dutchware Gear is an amazing company they make everything locally and have their own patented materials that they use for webbing and hammock material. The people are super helpful call and talk to them ask questions theyre more than happy to answer it. Plenty of YouTube videos showing exactly how to use the stuff. I highly recommend!

I love Dutchware gear. Instead of searching the internet for the odd bits to build out a hammock system, Dutchware has everything I need and then some. The quality and selection of hammocks, tarps, hangers, straps, is incredible and the prices are excellent. Ive purchased several hammocks over the years but the only one I bring out while camping is my double wide extra long Dutchware hammock.I did have one issue. I needed two pairs of cinch buckles to finish out two hammocks. The cinch buckles were only $5 a pair but the shipping to Holly Springs NC was $14. I decided not to get them at the time. Later on I purchased the buckles and a pair of straps and shipping was only $5. I remember the shipping for my hammock being very reasonable.

After a bunch of research I decided on the Dutchware Gear Chameleon double layer hammock. I made this purchase as the COVID pandemic was beginning to ramp up. Dutch was very responsive and clear in his email communication with me. I was unable to get a custom hammock due to the timing of my trip and his available work force. I “settled” for a hammock that met my exact needs and I love the colors. I have slept in it for 6 nights so far and I love it. I had an ENO hammock and the Chameleon is no comparison. Worth the price. This is a high quality light weight product that I should have purchased years ago. Thank you Dutch

Let me start by saying that the service I have received from Carolyn has been nothing short of stellar! I recently ordered a winter tarp...I opened it to start rigging it with guy/ridge lines and my new puppy promptly put a single tooth hole in it. Now for all those that may be concerned, the dog is still alive and in good health, LOL! I let Carolyn know that the tarp was awesome and about my unfortunate event and she promptly mailed me some fabric so I could repair it free of charge...awesome. A couple of weeks later, I got a new product email for the same tarp in an ultralight version and honestly, I was a little upset that it had not been mentioned when I placed my order prior. I called Carolyn and she explained that she truly was unaware that it was going to be available anytime soon. Even though my tarp had been damaged, she offered to accept it as a return for full credit so I could buy the new ultralight version. My first purchase was an 11 double layer hammock, with straps and a summer sock. Item arrived within the week and was crafted very well. This began my love affair with all things Dutch. Since then I have purchased things to make my own hammock and those for others. Ive also used the site to order freeze dried ingredients to make some trail meals. They have always answered my questions in a timely manner and orders have always been processed and delivered quickly. I cannot stress how wonderful it is interact and shop from a local business. I will continue to use Dutchware for all my DIY needs.My preference for hammock fabric is definitely the Hexon 1.6 specifically made for Dutchware. It offers the right amount of firmness stretch with the softness of a bed sheet.

Walked in off the street originally to buy carabineers, ended up coming back and buying a full setup. Knowledgeable, friendly people who are obviously avid users of their own products. Was walked through buying a full feature hammock by one of the folks, who set it up right in the shop so I knew what I was looking at. If youre into camping DutchWare is an amazing resource.
