Not the first time Ive come home with spoiled, moldy food. I cant believe Im writing a review to steer others clear of a grocery store, but something about the management of this location is very off. Employees seem very unhappy, food quality (produce) is poor, product monitoring is bad (bought a damaged jar of spaghetti sauce with mold inside lid), and stocking is awful. Many items completely cleaned out consistently, empty shelves constantly. A very small store with large unloading carts blocking aisles, even had an employee brush up AGAINST MY BODY during the height of the pandemic, not excusing themselves. Just awful and enough is enough...they just lost my entire grocery shopping. Needs to be rebuilt with higher ceilings, more space, and an entirely different management team. *Also,(edited to include story) I bought 3 bundles of firewood one time when I was either very pregnant or my baby was just born (last winter) and asked if I could take my groceries out to my car before loading the wood (cart was full) and rather than offer to find someone to help, the cashier told me I better hurry before someone came and took it...I HAD JUST BOUGHT THE WOOD! I will never be back...
Its ridiculous when you come in at 12:40 PM at lunch time and they have no lunch setups in their deli. And they tell you they ran out and they wont be stalking again until dinner time. Its freaking lunch time there should be lunch food.
I get it’s the day before a snow storm and everyone’s getting their groceries but I’ve been here and waiting in line for almost three hours at pickup. I’ve been more than patient but I have a suggestion, control your flow with scheduling and with a better pickup staging area. There are four pickup spots but why are there 10-12 cars all demanding their orders when there are only 4 spots, people are overwriting each other’s spots and the pickup employees must be so confused since this is so disorganized. The store manager was very kind and took off $20 from the 20 item order but somebody at Kroger or this stores management NEEDS TO FIX THIS ISSUE IMMEDIATELY. Simple, add legitimate spots 5-12 like larger stores or Walmart do.Very disappointed, I will risk it and go in for groceries from now on. The “lower your risk of exposure” thing is a fluke. The whole order was held up because of peanut butter cookies? I offered to come in and help pick the order if that’s all this was being held up over. Grocery shopping for two people should take no more than 30 minutes. Been here 3, going on 3 1/2 hours, still waiting. See picture below, here’s your problem. To make things worse, I had to go in anyways because the meat I ordered was rotten and the CS clerk, did his best to help me. Feel bad for the hourly employees that work here. Management, take note. Close this store and remodel to make the pickup area larger and organized. Please help your employees when they’re asking for a managers override 3 times in 15-20 minutes. Hourly wage employees have it hard enough, they should not be asking me to shoot them.
Worst Kings Soopers Ive ever been to. I recently moved here from Fort Collins and I guess I was spoiled there because the location next to my house there was a million times better. I keep giving this location on Alameda a chance because its within walking distance of my new place. It looks super run down and is in need of a remodel. And the most frustrating thing is that tons of items are always out of stock. I can never get everything on my list. Dont know if they just cant keep up with supply & demand or what. Im sick of it. I guess I will start going out of my way to go to a different location because Im beyond frustrated with this one. Poor selection of gluten free items too and I have a gluten allergy.
I really hate the parking lot and layout of this store BUT they always have what I need, it just takes me forever to find it. Also they have a Murray’s cheese bar which is a huge plus in my opinion and Angel that works there is the best. I could talk with him for hours about cheese. He knows so much and can recommend cheese for whatever you need. Thanks for the Roquefort cheese Angel, I see why it’s your favorite.
What an absolute garbage store. Won’t ever return. Loud ringing noises. Not very clean. And to top it off their system didn’t work and they refused to check anyone out. People literally just dropped their goods out of frustration and left. Wouldn’t even take cash. Pretty poorly run operation. Will not return.
Omg, Ryan the cashier service mgn yelled at me when i asked if there were any other cashiers available. 6:45pm very busy and only 2 lines open. He said in loud nasty tone “If i had more cashiers don’t you think I’d have them out here? “. Wow! Completely understand things are tough right now for businesses are shorthanded but you don’t have to be a jerk when you talk to a customer just because I asked you a question. Dude needs some serious time off and some anger mgnt training.
Meat department needs some serious help. Was here multiple times throughout the week and most recently Sunday May 9. Only ONE employee (older gentleman) was working behind the butcher block while the other was pretending to restock items. Perhaps if that individual would lend a hand and help his coworker, the service time might improve.
Devin in the Deli department is great! He fulfilled some special requests on meat slicing to make our 4th of July special and i didnt feel like an imposition whatsoever!
I normally love this King Soopers. But the last few times I’ve been here they have been out of a lot of things, which makes things difficult when you’ve created a list to make meals for a week and you leave not being able to make a few of those meals. Also, trying to find their grocery pickup parking spots was RIDICULOUS. They need signs on the front of the building guiding you to the BACK of the building. Cameron who brought out the groceries was super friendly though!
Definitely appreciate the closeness of this grocery store
I feel sorry for the deli staff. They are continually understaffed. I have found it difficult to get anything from the case, as they require you to wait for them to do many other things which take several minutes, even tho I was the only person at the counter.I usually see a few deli employees near the back working on things, and one person handling the counter. Idk if they are required not to help at the counter, but the poor single person trying their best doesnt get help.Is it corporate greed? Poor deli mgmt? Idk but I wish they would fix it, but I doubt they will.
I have gone to this king Soopers for nearly a year yet i’m still watched so closely by the employees i have been followed around by the employees of the store due to the color of my skin it’s upsetting I’ve always followed the rules I’ve never stolen a thing in my life yet people always watch me and follow me around the store assuming I’m going to steal. Not to mention during a pandemic their employees refuse to wear a mask correctly and sometimes they don’t wear one at all.
The pharmacist Cassandra was very helpful with helping get my insurance information in correctly. She was awesome and I could hear over the phone that she was dealing with other customers while still efficiently helping me. Thank you Cassandra.
EVERY SINGLE pick up order is missing items. How hard is it to read a list and compare items in the cart to the list? Im not exaggerating, they mess up every single order. I do pick up because I work 80+hr weeks and any extra time having to go grocery shopping takes away from my 5hrs of sleep a night. When items are missing, it literally ruins my entire week in terms of having food to eat e.g. Ill be doordashing lunch this entire week since they left out all my deli meat and sandwhich stuff. $150 vs $15 in groceries. Im finally done with this place, never again, whole foods/safeway have never once messed up an order, I guess you get what you pay for?
I went shopping at 6:30 am - pretty early - and 2 different employees (an older guy and 20-something girl) in 2 different aisles both said Good Morning! It might not seem like a big deal - but there is no incentive for them to say that which means they are genuinely friendly people and a place I will go back to.
Always check the expiration and use by date from this meat department. I picked up an order, my pork shoulder use and expiration date was past and when I opened the package it smelled funny. They still sold it to me, pretty sure they were trying to reduce shrinkage and thought I might not notice because it was a pickup. Makes me wonder if the meat department manager is trying to slip the expired stuff by shoppers and if there is a bin in the back for pickup orders. I stopped buying hamburger from this meat department because it smelled off when I cooked it.
Dont buy gift cards there they dont care or want to prevent fraud. My dad bought a $100 visa gift card from this store as a present for my brother. Lone and behold there was a copy of a different card taped to the back of the physical gift card that was supposed to be activated. When we went back the manager (younger guy in glasses) could care less that his store is selling fraudulent gift cards. This joker had no customer service what so ever. The nice lady at customer service who has been working there 2 days had a lot more class. Train your management team correctly please. We were able to call corporate and they took care of it. But it shouldnt have to be that way, or at least show a little sympathy when ur responsible for the perpetration of fraud. What a joke. Safeway from here on out. RETRAIN that manager!
This place is a joke they treat you like you’re a thief and a criminal beware if you’re trying to return anything don’t they will not honor their return policy. Customer service is extremely rude it will not help you in the least
These guys never ever stock milk! It’s always sitting in the back behind the coolers, I guess I will have to start going in the back room and helping myself to it since they refuse to put it in the cooler! Do your job! Fill the milk coolers!!!
Great store. Well stocked. At later hours real quiet, great for shopping during the pandemic. The nursery department has great deals and all sorts of unique flower selections. Avoid checking out with Carol. She’ll argue about discounts and give you grief about pretty much anything just out of principle. The Karen treatment as they say. But overall one of the better King Supers in our county.
Unprofessional, argues about prices changes clearly marked, overall downhill experience in the last year. All 3 Soopers in Lakewood are absolute trash
This review is specifically for the pharmacy and lack of customer service. Avoid this location like the plague or COVID when needing a prescription. They closed 12 minutes early one day and I was unable to pick up. The next day the first hour was dedicated to COVID vaccines so you are unable to pick up a prescription for an hour after their published or recorded opening time. After standing in line for 15 minutes, it was 9:54 and they refused to allow me to pick up the prescription 6 minutes early. The website or recorded message stating pharmacy hours has NOT been updated to inform people of this change. I had a commitment at 10 so I was unable to stay. However I was easily able to transfer the prescription to Walgreens and was able to pick up within 30 minutes.
Ceder doesnt know how to do her job. Please properly train your employees before you let them on a cash register. Terrible customer service. Does not no the simple functions of a cash register.
I went there to pick up a prescription and they said itd be 30 minutes and asked if Id wait in the store. I told them Id come back in a little bit instead of waiting in the store. I came back a little over an hour later and was told they sent it to an offsite pharmacy to be fked instead since I didnt wait in the store and it wouldnt be ready until 3:30 which is 6 hours after I had originally come in. They offered to call it back and fill it in store again but again another 30 minute wait for it to be filled or come back a 3rd time.
I love the Simple Truth brand microwaveable creamy lentil soup but over the last few months, I’ve gone every week and the ones on the shelf all have a sell by date of July 2020. A couple of months ago, I pointed it out to one of the managers walking by and she said she would make sure and clear the old product but guess what. She lied. The only ones on the shelf are still the expired ones. Which shows that they clearly don’t care that they are selling stale product past the good by date. This isn’t the first time I’ve had this issue at this store - I’ve pointed out yogurts and frozen fish past their expiration dates too. This was the final straw though, I think I’ll start going elsewhere.
I mean its a grocery store that isnt Walmart....
My husband and I go here regularly and its consistently great. Special kudos today to Javier in the Produce department who went above the call of duty to help us find some products for a soup we wanted to make tonight!
Ive been shopping at this king soopers for years. Today they had a shopper who was not following the mask policy, no facecovering of any kind. Had to practically beg for the manager to say something to the customer, afterwhich they just allowed her to continue shopping. Will be looking about how to report this store for not following mask mandate laws.
They usually have a pretty good staff until the end of the day their staff becomes lazy and rude because whenever I go in, there are barely any carts and no baskets if you dont want to use a cart. So if you go try to go in the morning because their staff is a whole lot better and if it looks like you need help they will help you but the later 3 to close wont help. plus the later staff will lie to your face and not care..... so if I could give the morning staff a rating it would be 5/5 but the later 2/5
Google states that this store is open until midnight but they close early whenever they feel like it.
Pretty much the worst customer service experience Ive ever had.. Very rude and insulting staff
Today I messed up on a cheese purchase and grabbed a larger size than allowed per WIC. I realized this after paying. I told the lady who was very nice that I messed up and needed to grab a smaller cheese, which I did. Once trying to purchase that cheese an error message popped up saying the card was in a different kiosk and wouldn’t complete. She said she had never seen that before and asked the “manager” Sebastian, who was not only less than helpful but very rude. When she asked what this meant his response was “well my guess is that WIC doesn’t approve this cheese.” I then said yes they do the last one didn’t because I grabbed a 2 lb and it allows a 1 lb which I have now already replaced and there is a WIC approved sticker on it. He then says “well, try your card and see if it works and if it doesn’t then figure out why.” And walks away. The cashier is still very confused because she was asking him why it wasn’t working clearly she didn’t know why. As she sat there puzzled I was blown away at how unhelpful he was not only for me the customer but his employee as well. She went to him for guidance and he responded with well figure it out? WOW great teamwork!! I a manager myself would NEVER let my team down like that. No one grew from that situation or learned anything and I left without buying the cheese. I don’t even care why it didn’t work I’ll come back next time and get it. I am just baffled at how Sebastian is suppose to be a manager and guide his team to success and also be a leader and set an example, yet He gave terrible customer service and left his employee out to dry. Just terrible.
I didnt go to this location for the longest time because I dont like the way the parking lot is set up, and had had a bad experience a few years prior. But yesterday I gave it another chance anyway and immediately regretted it. The cantaloupes as you walk in reeked as if they were starting to rot, then once we got past the 2nd set of doors the whole store stank in a different way. And yes, I could smell it through my mask. Also, most of the customers disregarded any sense of decency or politeness. The store itself seemed all right over all, but a few items were not in stock and these were things that I know are in stock in many other King Soopers. Will not be returning.
I cant understand what benefit there is in having a customer service dept.if they only want to push you off onto someone else. They take no responsibility in the online/instacart shopping. After 7 months of this so called virus being out,Im sure theyve had an increase in at home shoppers taking advantage of KS contract with instacart. Yet,if the instacart shopper doesnt bring items youve ordered, while also bringing no receipt,KS cannot nor will they accommodate you with answers nor help. You will be referred to Instacart who also can give you no answers.
A decent grocery store with good selection and prices
Terrible experience, undertrained customer service. I had an online order ready for pickup and drove to the location, spent 20 minutes on the phone with customer service just for them to finally tell me that they gave my order to someone else. Not only that but they said they couldn’t refund my $150 purchase because no manager was present. Definitely never going to another King Soopers again.
Pharmacy personnel greatCheckers generally awesome.
Store is open 24 hours, its never especially crowded, has pretty much everything, and plenty of self checkouts. Id give it 5 stars but for the very often incorrectly labeled produce (local produce = Colorado, not Cali!). I have plenty of beefs with King Soopers as a company, but this particular location is quite nice. I also really appreciated the two banks of self-check-outs. Im not a huge fan of talking to people while shopping, so thats an added plus.
Tonight, while shopping with my husband, an envelope of cash fell out of my purse in front of the cheese aisle. One of GREAT King Soopers employees found it and turned it in! Every last dollar of the $200 in the envelope was accounted for. Both the lady and gentleman at customer service assisted in getting it back to me and I cannot tell you how thankful I am to shop at such a great location that staffs honest and kind individuals. There is still good in this world!!
Basic king Soopers, most employees are nice, but a few extremely rude ones, manament to top it off
Our neighborhood king soopers. What more can i say.
This particular king soopers has fantastic staff, very friendly and attentive.
Ive lived in the area for around 4yrs now and have been mostly going to this Kings, I know Colorado in general has been becoming more populated, but it feels like this Kings doesnt know how to handle its huge influx of customers. It now takes an excruciating long time to finish my grocery shopping mostly due to the crowds, but whats worse is how lately the employees block up most of the aisle space when stocking, which seems to occur during the busiest times of the day. Today was the worst when U-boats and pallets were left completely unattended to the point where I couldnt even go down an aisle. I normally like this Kings, its well stocked and has everything I need, but the way they manage their limited space really is crazy.
Crowded almost any time during the day
Good long johns and bismarks, I prefer the custard filled versions.
Very bad grocery pick up service... Maybe the worst I have used... Out of 6 orders I have got less than half of what I ordered and their substitutions are so off its crazy... Example- I bought a bread with no wheat (large print on label no wheat) for a friend with a wheat allergy they substituted that for 100% whole grain wheat bread.
This is a very nice store. The layout is easy to follow, and the service is far better than most other grocery stores. They have a great selection at the deli and around the store. The pharmacy is also well-run. The parking lot is a bit tricky, so take care there.
We have been using this store for a year and have been pleasantly surprised by the selection of organic products they have in stock. Granted, its not going to have as many brands as an natural food store, but there usually will be the organic equivalent of most products they sell. Simple Truth is their house organic brand. As for customer service, I only have a few complaints. The people that work behind the hot food bar are predictably rude for the most part. Sometimes you will run into one of the many teens working the store and they can be like most teens today, rude. Other than that service is 4-5 stars. It gets a bit crowded, but that is no fault of the stores. That is the state of Colorados problem but needs to be mentioned for full disclosure. They have quite a few self checkouts, they are a pain to use at times but most generally someone will be there to undo whatever malfunction it may have quickly. The parking lot is a zoo, but again not really any fault of the store itself. All in all this location has a great selection, decent staff, clean appearance, and recently installed a Starbucks.
I appreciate the employees at this location.
No one at the meat counter today. Waited 10 minutes rang bell 4 or 5 times. No one working.
Im a huge fan of the Kroger stores! This King Soopers definitely has everything you would need on your grocery trip. The layout is odd and not as easy to navigate as other stores. One of the best features of the Kroger brand stores is that most have a great markdowns/discounted goods. This store had two tiny sections and a bakery one to appease the bargain shoppers.
This King Soopers has mixed customer service — sometimes really good, sometimes really bad. This characteristic certainly manifests in the Deli. When you go there, ask for Eddie. He puts the customer first and really cares about delivering good service, which cant be said for everyone here. I know quality is something we should expect as customers, but he takes it to the next level. Well continue coming back here for his customer service. Would be 5 stars if everyone was like this!
Always happy with what I get here. The meat selection is great and the staff running the meat department are always friendly. They have a great supply of fresh fruit and veggies too. I exclusively shop here at strange times-after 11pm due to working in a restaurant myself. I appreciate their long hours and knowing I can still get the food I want at such odd times.
I just shopped the King Soopers on Union and Alameda. I really like the store. They always have everything in stock and the people are very friendly and helpful. They have several Special Needs folks working there. I am very happy about that.
Super disappointing to see they have back tracked on social distancing. There is no reason to have all three self check-outs open- close the middle ones down like they were before. Complete disregard for community health. If the lines are too long- open another regular register ( more hours for employees and more distance for customers). The lack of regard for social distancing is disgusting at this location. Shame
The staff always has a bad attitude. Everytime I come here it’s always something.
The man supposedly cleaning the grocery carts this afternoon around 3:30 was only slapping a paper towel over the top of part of the handle on some of the carts, barely doing any kind of disinfecting. It was a worthless effort. And the guy who brought the carts in from outside wasnt helping because he put the carts in so the cleaning guy couldnt get to them. I tried tried to telephone a manager and the system not only would not give me the option to talk to a manager but wouldnt let me leave a message either. I wont be shopping here again and will get my prescriptions filled someplace that sincerely makes the effort to protect public health.
Pretty crazy for new years eve. No carts or baskets but luckily I was only going in for a handful of things. Great store and its like any other king soopers. Great prices and service.
Classic king soopers. Nice staff.
We have been going here for 5 years. I noticed that a lot of the same people still work here which tells me that the turnover rate is low. The products are great. The staff is extremely friendly but not in a fake way but in a kind and sincere attitude. A few times there was some difference in the deli food from one week to the next. That may be from training. All in all, I enjoy our weekly visits. Being that I live in the neighborhood I try to treat this store with care by returning my carts, putting items I changed my mind about in their proper place. If you run into crappy patrons, well thats thanks to all the new apartments. I see these people every week and every week they are wonderful. The floral department was my only time I would consider maybe some lack of care. I appreciate this store and their hard work. I think some of the negative reviews may be by people expecting their asses kissed and catered to, thats not me. If the butcher department doesnt have what you need they will place an order for you. The bakery has a great staff, Roberta is my favorite, super kind and extremely helpful. All in all, great store, awesome hard working folks! My family always feels welcome.
I live very close by to this Grocery store and I believe it is well run and has friendly and attentive workers. Its fairly busy but has enough checkout lines including automated checkout. I have not really encountered something out of stock. Minor criticisms - the produce section is compact and difficult to navigate when the store is busy. You also need to have a store card with them otherwise you are losing out on tons of savings.
Most people are nice and friendly, although there are some that arent, like 3 people that doesnt like to be bother on asking where is this and that, i wish you the best and good luck. Overall, I am happy and valued.
Though the parking lot is usually busy and can be a bit tricky to get out of, I recently had a great experience here. This week I ordered a large deli catering order online and went in to pick it up. It was busy when I arrived, but when it was my turn, the woman who helped me was awesome! She volunteered to help me take an extra cart out to my car (since I was alone and didnt have anyone else to help) and waited with my order outside while I pulled up my car. She and another staff member who I think was taking a break outside, jumped in and helped load my car quickly, taking care to not crush my food and settle my cakes so they wouldnt tip. Im really appreciative for the care they showed. Such great customer service!
Worst experience in a King Soopers we have ever had. Empty stock carts blocking dairy case. Unapologetic employee for inconvenience. No checkers only part of self checkouts open bought items that needed a receipt. It took 10 minutes to get it turned out the printer was out of paper I could have changed it faster. It seemed to me that the store would rather make money than give service. I felt sorry for the 2 employees I did see
This is a great grocery store. Always look forward to seeing the friendly staff. There are many faces that have been there for years! I usually run into nice neighbors. A trip to the store turns into a socializing event for me.
This is a terrible store, people are rude, Ive had cashiers literally throwing my purchases down the conveyor, criticizing me, to my face, for not bagging my own groceries and every time I go they are either out of the product I want or they have stopped carrying it all together!I hate Safeway or I would switch but rather than appreciate my loyalty they take advantage of it!
This review is regarding my time working here. It was a great learning experience as my second job as a job I dont ever want to have. This is one of those corporate jobs that if you dont fit into the mold they do everything they can to try and get rid of you. They could care less that I was going through a very trying period in my life and suffering from severe depression. Some of the staff and even management is very cliquey, gossipy and unprofessional. While i worked here I was accused of management for saying inappropriate things that i would never say based on hearsay. I think the true story is that I was talking to a pharmacy tech off the clock to see what brands of medication they carry. In her mind I called her a crack***** and I would never say such a thing and to be accused by management was gross. I was accused of things i would never do over and over again and eventually got fired for something i allegedly said, but management has never heard me say anything inappropriate. I guess its not about how hard you work here. I would highly recommend not working here if you want to be treated fairly and decently, be appreciated for your hard work, make good money. But if you want to make almost minimum wage, be in a gossipy toxic high school environment, and be overworked there is no better job out there.
Getting really tired of this store never having anything in stock. You know what items are on sale before it happens maybe try to actually order accordingly. I guess math and common sense are not job requirements.
Worth the drive. This Kings is a bit out of the way for me but I like it because its one of the nicer ones in the area. Good produce, Starbucks inside.
Luc the front end supervisor NOT helpful. When asked to help. It was generous city… When asked for more help said we do not have items. I finally found it and brought up to him did not take any accountability.
One of the few 24 hour Soopers remaining, close to the C470 exit on West Alameda Parkway and the Highway 6 exit on Union. It is one of the last remaining bastions of tasty combustibles, for those who work swing shift. If thou art hungry, visit and purchase food!
I usually have a pretty good experience here but with one particular cashier, Vickie E, I had the worst experience with. She had drop a few of the items I was purchasing (food and beverages) and stay silent as if nothing had happened, she didnt bother to bag anything except for one item which she would also toss without any care, and didnt bother to say a simple greating or even a single word at that. Now I have some items that are dented and bruised. Honesttly pretty disappointed.
Floral department manager “FRAN” told me to go over there and I’ll be there when I’m done, don’t rush me” she was really rude.Never had that happen to me
Ive been coming in here once or twice a week in the middle of the night for the last 13 years. I had to find out from Fox news that this location would no longer be open 24 hours. The claim is that the change is to better serve customers, but I wont even be able to be a customer anywhere near as often as I was.
I love this store. Everyone is always helpful and they have what I need, including selection. If there is something specific I cant find, they will order it for me. A lot of the cashiers have been working at this store for a long time and recognize the regular patrons and make you feel like you are shopping in a small town neighborhood store.
All staff is very courteous, helpful and always eager to answer questions!! I go in at least twice a week with my senior client and its so nice for her to be recognized and treated with kindness and respect!! Anytime we have questions Desires is always eager to show us were the item is while shes stocking I dairy?? Louis one of our favorite cashier is always assisting us to make things go faster, I didnt catch the other gentlemans name thats always at self checkout he is always a pleasure and humorous!!
This store is wack. It feels weird inside. Isle labels are not visible. The workers are all slow
I went in this morning for bus passes. The customer service desk opens at 7 and it was 7:01 am. I stood there patiently because I understand that getting ready to open takes time. The desk was not being manned at that time but several employees walked by, never saying a word. Another employee walked behind the desk to get some things and then left, never looking at me or acknowledging me. A simple someone will be with you in a moment would have let me know at least I would be assisted soon. Instead, I continued to stand there feeling stupid, unsure if anyone would be there to assist me soon or not. Several minutes later, another employee walked behind the desk withcthe cash drawer in hand. She also never acknowledged me until she was done setting up her area. Once ready, she asked in any annoyed tone what I needed and handled the sale. I walked out feeling annoyed as well. I waited patiently... as I should... and was given crappy service. I will go back because I know mornings can suck...I just hope the next experience be is better. Poor customer service leaves a bad taste in your mouth.
Ive shopped here for years. They are always helpful and courteous. Today I bought a deli sandwich - the best! The lady who made it was so very sweet. Thanks for being my food supliers - and I hate grocery shopping!
The store is great but wish there was a bathroom on both sides of the store. Makes it harder for the elderly and those with small kids. The produce here is great but there never seems to be a lot of meat options in the meat department as far as beef and pork and chicken go.
Nice location if you are looking for the basic groceries. I usually shop 2 times a month at the grocery store. I come here usually for my second visit because im shopping for just the little things. It is the smaller King Soopers ... low ceiling. I like the KSs with the warehouse type feel - more selections and nicer fruit options.I do like this location though, close to home and very easy parking
Place keeps going down hill. Standing here with 9 checkout lines open and TWO baggers. So tired of doing Kings job for them. Should give me the employee discount.
Grate grocery store. Grew up with Krogers, which owns King Soopers, so I was surprised how clean and organized this place is. I go here each week to get my item. Always well stocked. It never fails that if I cant find something Im always stopped by an attendant, Ive never had to ask where something is. Great service, great store.
Fresh sushi! Made my way. Nice. I needed a special order on a product not normally carried. Hmm. I received it. On time on price. Just ask...you never know what this King Soopers is capable of.. Love the crazy deli people also.
This King Soopers, way on the west end of Alameda, is very busy and quite large. The good thing from all of this business is I never feel the need to check the expiration date on anything because it is all flying off the shelves so fast. I do go late at night, though, to avoid the rush. Self check-out stations mean that you dont have to rely on one tired cashier at a late hour.
I just moved here from Texas and went to King Soopers for the first time on 3/15/18. I liked the store. I mainly went in to get some ground bison. I found what I needed & went home.As I was meal prepping the following Sunday, I put the ground bison on the skillet & started to wash some dishes. When I went to separate the meat I noticed something hard in there! It was a piece of hard plastic!!! I nearly threw up. This is the reason people become vegan or vegetarian! How disgusting. This was the King Soopers brand Simple Truth.I call and ask to speak to a manager & after some phone tag we got to talking. I was pleased with how quickly I was able to speak to him. He got some information down & asked if I just wanted a refund or wanted to move forward to see how the plastic got there... well of course I want to know how it got there!!! What else could be packaged in our organic products?! He said he would file the claim with Segwick & that I would hear back in 72 hours. Well, its been 5 days & NOTHING! It seems as if they really dont care at all & are just brushing me off. Ive posted pictures so yall can see.Im extremely disappointed & will never be going to a King Soopers again.
The manager on duty today at noon. He was rude, they had no wipes to clean cart handles with, they did not monitor the number of people in the store, etc. the manager had is name tag turned over (Jim or Jeff). He told me it is not his job to monitor this and to mind my own business. He said he could throw me out for complaining to him.
Friendly location but thats where the good news stops, I went to the deli and a lady came up to me and asked how she could help me without washing her hands. I asked for my order and she grabbed a ladle from a different dish and used that to serve up my order. This is clearly a food health code violation, which I reminded her, but she did not seem to care and wouldnt give me a new order with a clean spoon. I am very disappointed
My Kings is the best! The employees seem happy and they are very helpful. The produce staff are informed and assist me to find uncommon items. ie: kolrobi.
The store is great, but the Guest Care counter is constantly and woefully understaffed. The line is always long and slow-moving. That department needs more than just one employee behind the register.
Very good. Store had just restocked.sale. soda. For holiday. This store always good. Especially customers
Great service at the cashiers. Nice people and stock good.
Excellent. Well stocked every itemI asked an employee where an item is, employee shows me what isle. Best meat with a butcher to give help you. Yes a real butcher, not many leftLove kings scoopers.
Its usually great. The people are really nice. But sometimes they send me coupons for things they dont have.
