The selection is overwhelming but amazing. So so so many great options. I got 3 vegan cookies and wow, amazing. The fact they are warm like you just pulled them out of the oven is great

No one answered when I called. Google says they are open until 3 am. Website says 1 am. I don’t know what’s accurate so it’s not worth the drive out. They used to be really good, but lately it’s been inconsistent and this is annoying.

I was walking down Detroit Rd, almost crawling at this point. I felt dead inside, and I felt hopeless. That was until I found this establishment. I was saved by 3 wonderful human beings and their knowledge in cookies and ice cream. There were absolutely delightful while also enlightening. I will always recommend this location and I cant wait to make another visit.Also, this store closes at midnight, not 3. I am not responsible for any emotions that this establishment makes you feel.

The cookies are warm a delicious. The prices are a bit high, but definitely worth it if you want a sugar fix. They have ice cream sandwiches, cookies, milk and other drinks for sale. Good place to go late at night with friends!

I ordered at 8:40. It was 9:40 and I was wondering g where it was. I called and they had not started it or even looked at my order yet. Told me that what I ordered they didn’t have. I said that I get the vegan stuff to be on the safe side because all of it is prepared on different equipment from the cookies with nuts. Worker said “well we don’t have those” in a not nice tone. I swapped it for regular noting my allergy. He said he’d get it out to me. It is 10:50 now and I still have not received my order and they aren’t answering their phones.

I left work down the street to go get me and my coworkers cookies- and thought Id try insomnia out. Online it said they had 24 cookies for $28. I decided 28 dollars was.. ok.. but when I got there the sign informed me it was $38. I inquired and was told no- its $38. I even showed them my phone where it said $38!! Nope didnt matter!! Usually Id complain, as it was the price their store WAS showing- but I had to get back to work.At least they changed it since then.. so I guess youre welcome for telling you!The employee that helped me was nice though.I have no desire to go back here, theres plenty of lovely bakeries in Lakewood.

The cookies are really good and warm. We were in and out of the store within 5 minutes. A tad bit pricey but worth it

I wish I could give negative stars. I loved insomnia cookies. So for mothers day my boyfriend took me to get some. We put in our order, the money came out of the account and we got the message it was ready for pickup. We get there and all the lights are off except the kitchen, doors locked, even though it said they were open online. I call several times and no one picks of the phone. Called several times the next day and still no answer. I even called other locations with no answer. Cant get a refund because I cant reach a person. I dont want to ever eat here again.

Cookie and ice cream are good, yet poor customer service. Placed my order at 9:26 and waited almost 2 hours before I canceled my order. No updates. No calls. Nothing. They farmed delivery out to Postmates and it’s hands down a disaster.Have had this happen once before as well.I wish them the best but I think I’m ordering my late night desserts from somewhere else from now on.Oh and a 3-5 day wait for reimbursement. Placed an order online. Went to get it and the store was locked and can’t get a hold of anyone in the store. The site says they’re open till one but we got there at 11:45. I don’t understand how the website even allowed us to order if the store was closed. We drove out of the way too. I’m wondering if a worker walked out early and just closed the shop. Regardless I definitely won’t be ordering online anymoreEdit: just stopped by again since we were in the area. Didn’t order online this time and thankfully we didn’t. Closed at 2pm even though they’re supposed to be open. Literally just don’t even bother with this location or make sure to call ahead first

They are using UBER to deliver now - $4 delivery fee and it took 3x as long as they said it would.

Some friends and I ordered some stuff for a night in and got a message saying we received our order with nothing to be found. I checked all 7 entrances to my building to find nothing and that we had been charged for it too. Complete and absolute failure. If it was too late I wouldn’t of cared if they called and told me that. Now we’re left with nothing. I demand a full refund and compensation for this waste of my time.

Staff not very friendly or helpful but cookies were yummy! A bit pricey, but was a treat for my daughters birthday.

I bought a box of 6 cookies and 3 of the 6 were absolutely under cooked. I picked them up to have them fall apart into mush. The flavors sounded delicious but the same quality cookies could be made at home... and cooked fully. Unfortunately I won’t be returning.

Placed an order at 9:50pm, 11pm rolls around and I’ve gotten no confirmation email/text or updates but the money is withdrawn from my account. I call the number and am on hold for over 12 minutes, they finally tell me the location is “super behind” tonight and they haven’t even started my order over an hour after the order was placed. I understand getting behind, but getting 0 updates and not being able to reach the actual store itself is unacceptable. First time customer tonight and will absolutely never order from here again!

Ordered 6 cookies asking for ASAP delivery. 1.5 hours later I call because the order is not even out for delivery. I’m told it’s been a busy night and should be 30-45 mins. I call 45 mins later (now over 2 hours from point of order). I ask to cancel the order because it’s now midnight. Barely get an apology, told the refund should happen in 2/4 days. Basically telling me my order wasn’t even close to going out. Just told it was a “bad night”. I can be sympathetic, but there’s a point you need to be honest with the customer. And if truly want to make it right then give the order for free. This place is either terribly under equipped to handle a rush, or just doesn’t care about their customers. Would not and will not ever be going back to this store.

So whats a sober adult on date night suppose to do. Completely out of ideas at 11 at night this place shows up on our radar. We walked in there feeling like boring adults, after the first bites of the cookies and ice cream I could care less if this is what being a boring adult is.

Staff is not energetic or happy to be at work. This one worker had absolutely terrible costumer service. He complained to us about wanting to go home, it was 12:20 am when those close at 1 am at the earliest. When asked for a cookie they had on display he just shook his head. Absolutely no respect on the customer side. Cookies are okay but very poorly run business. If you have employees complaining to CUSTOMERS way before you close then do something about it. I had a terrible experience here.This happened on March 20, 2021 at 12:22 am

We ordered a dozen cookies at 9:45 pm. During the baking stage the app said it would be delivered at 10:25 pm. Later it said 10:55. When we called them at 11:15 we were told they were out for delivery. We called back at midnight. After a 5 plus minute phone call we were told the cookies had been delivered. They werent. We even looked at our neighbors porces. They saidit was a busy and they were canceling the order. They said wed be refunded in 3 to 5 days and wed get a $10 e-gift card. We will not be using it. This is not the 1st time theyve dissapointed us. Orders have been wrong. Cookies over cooked.

Had an awful experience with this company. Ordered a dozen cookies an waited over an hour and received nothing. When I called to check in I was on hold for 10 minutes. When I finally got through to someone they said they they were understaffed and couldn’t get us our order. They did not send us any email of cancellation or call to let us know they were cancelling. The women who we spoke to from Insomnia cookie was not even able to get ahold of the store. Horrible experience!

Drivers have always brought my order to my front or back door, only one time was it left inside my lobby door. Tonight I got the text was order was with the driver, but I never got the confirmation text or a call from the driver or a knock on the door. Realizing it was now after the store closes, I called the store and the employee that answered had me check both doors with him on the phone, but then I had to ask for a refund and he said to call customer service he didnt know how. I ended go going to check ny lobby door just in case, the driver left it outside my lobby door on the sidewalk with my name, address, and phone number highlighted on the receipt (when every time except once its been brought to my door). I called the store back and told that same employee, he said he wasnt here he doesnt know what actually happened, but its unlikely that his driver did that. He also said that after the driver delivered it, somebody picked my order up and moved it outside the building. I asked the time its not brought to my door I also dont get the text confirmation or call or knock, its unlikely that the driver did it somebody else picked it up and moved it. The manager said hed talk to the driver but yes its unlikely the driver did that somebody took my delivered order and moved it from my door to outside my building (even if that happened, how would I know that it got delivered).

I ordered 6 cookies last night at 948. I wasnt informed the cookies had even been made until almost two hours later. Three times after that time had passed at random intervals I was told my cookies were out for order. It got so late that I went to bed. When I woke up today I got another text saying my order was out for delivery at 147 in the morning and the store is only open til 1am. Needless to say, my cookies never arrived but they sure as hell charged me. Ill be making a call once they open, and Ill never be ordering from them again.

Cookies were good, only 2 people working so they were out of some cookies, which is understandable. Both workers however were visibly and audibly irritated with every customer that walked in. The cashier was sighing every time we asked for a cookie because she had to check in the back and see if they had it. We heard he person in the back say “can people just stop coming in” too.

The cookies we not very fresh just kept warm and my ice cream taste kinda old and grainy😭💔

Can you make sure you inform the customer when their order is delivered? The tracker never updated from “out for delivery,” I didn’t get a text or call from the driver, and no one ever knocked. After an hour, I eventually went downstairs to check and there was my order, cold from sitting out in 35° for who knows how long.P.S. Giving an ETA on the tracker or confirmation email would be cool too.

Ordered delivery at 8:15-8:30pm. An hour later, get a text from the driver that its been delivered to the side door - but I dont have one. Then they say it was delivered to a completely different address, not even on my street. So I call the store, and that employee said they would send it back out via Postmates and I should have it in 20-25 mins. I waited two hours until 11:35, and I still never received my order. Tried calling the store and they automatically put me through to customer service, who then gave me a refund.Horrible service. Definitely not worth the price nor the headache.

Made a special trip to lakewood just for my daughter to treat me for Mothers Day. Google shows they are open. Website says they are open. Nope. NOT Open. We specifically checked online before driving the 20 minutes there. So disappointed.

The cookies were fresh, warm, and still soft even after a few days. The cookies even had their own flavor still after being in the same container with their special wrapping they offer over each one. My milk was cold. Their delivery people are curteous and they thank you. If you have any complaints they will do their best to fix it. One of my favorite cookies were sold out. They are very nice. The cookies are great.

Cookies were great delivery was timely. Except I ordered a milk and it was not in my order. I called the delivery guy no answer I left a voicemail. I called the number they have listed online and have been listening to their hold music for 12 minutes now. Very dissatisfied with the customer service. A milk is 3.50 I’d like the milk or money back. Or someone to talk to in general to resolve the issue. Why doesn’t the store have a phone?

The cookies are delicious. They are a bit pricey but when you are craving warm fresh cookies it really hit the spot. I wish I had one closer to my house! It was my first time stopping in and it wont be my last.

Delivery was timely but they left my box of cookies on the ground right by my apartment’s main entrance door. We’re in the middle of a pandemic! The box wasn’t even in a bag and wasn’t sealed. Really careless. When I opened the small box everything was just crammed inside, one of the cookies (the more expensive one) was broken on top. That was my first and last time buying from here.

I order Insomnia every once in awhile and I am disappointed everytime. Estimated deliver times are always 30 mins and they actually delivery time has always been between 1-2.5 hours. I usually end up calling and then all of sudden the cookies appear. Not a happy camper.

Ordered delivery around 10pm on a Friday night. Received my order over 2 hours later at around 12:15am. Ice cream was a puddle. This was my last chance for this place after multiple previous wrong orders. Awful.

Cookies were great! Delivery not so much. I have several dogs in my house and when someone rings the bell they go crazy. I put in the delivery instructions not to ring the bell to put them on the edge of the porch and text me. I also watched the tracking. Tracking said baking, and I hear my bell ring. My dogs go crazy. I go down and instead of on the edge of the porch right next to my door it is on my neighbors porch on the other side. So me in my pjs had to run up to her porch in the rain to get our delivery. It is the little things, the little touchs that count that make small businesses lovely to order from or go to. This is clearly not one of them. And dont offer tracking if it does not work. Especially when there is a pandemic going on when people support your small business please follow directions; cookies are not a need they are a want. And I will not want to order from them again if that clearly dont care.

This place has the best cookies ever. There are many different varieties so everyone is sure to find something to choose that they will no doubt enjoy. As well as cookies there is ice cream and cookie cakes. One of the main benefits of Insomnia Cookies though is that they are open into the early hours of the morning which allows you to go for late night trips for sweets.

She was rude and when i was getting my change she said she had 5, i was supposed to get 7 but because i felt bad i said it was fine. I ended up with 4 dollars not even five. We bought 24 cookies and waited an hour and 10 minutes. After we called to ask about it they said we had to wait an additional 30-45 minutes (this was after I was on hold for 10 minutes). As I was on hold I got a text that said it’s on the way and when I told the worker that she chuckled and said “that’s not what I heard.” NOT professional or nice. And now I’m having problems getting a refund.

Out of the two girls working there one was sitting outside the store the other sitting inside eating the last white chocolate macadamia nut cookie as opposed to baking some more. I ordered a cookie ice cream sandwich to go, they apparently microwaved it because after the 5 min ride home the inside of the box was an ice cream mess. Need better staff

I always have good experiences here, I pretty much always do delivery and its super quick, Morgan normally does my delivery (I went to school with her, very nice). Ordered tonight, accidently put wrong side of the door on the instructions, my bad it was my mistake. But the girl who delivered it was so rude, couldnt understand her on the phone, all I could make out was delivery address. She said it was from insomnia, I asked if she was here and she told me it was the wrong door. I said Oh Im sorry about that, my mistake. Ill be right down. Go down, she comes stomping up my porch, Im smiling and I say hello to her. She tells me the total and turns around before I can even say thank you or apologize in person for the wrong direction. Super rude girl, dunno her name but blonde and pink or red hair with dreadlocks. Girl if youre ready this, you need to work a little better on your customer service.

I was impressed they delivered from Lakewood to Westgate, where I work. I got several cookies and some ice cream. They arrived within 15 minutes or so. The cookies were still warm and soft. The ice cream was still ice cold. Did run me about $15 which was a little on the steep end like many have stated, but I try to think about the positive. They are fresh fresh delicious cookies delivered to your doorstep. Not something that has been sitting around for hours or days. Its just not the same and Im willing to pay that premium for that quality and service. Fantastic job.

Cookies took nearly 2 hours from ordering time to arrive, needless to say, not even slightly warm. Cookie tracker never updated and cookies still said “baking” after we had received them. Ordered a 12 pack of cookies and only got 11. Won’t be ordering from this location again.

Its as amazing as the pictures on the site make you think. The ice cream is amazing too, and they rotate flavors too. I havent had anything i would eat again. The cookies are hot and gooey amazingness. I usually get q small or medium cup of ice cream and a cookie. But i am usually doing take out, so i keep em separate. The cookie sandwiches look awesome too. It also helps that (as the name implies) they are open after you leave the bar 😁. If you are considering going, just go and thank me later.

I love their peanut butter cookies.... especially around the edges, lol. Wanted something to help my sweet tooth and with ease and no wait I was able to fulfill the need.

My friend and I drove from another city to try these cookies..first time. We walked in and the girl at the counter told us “Sorry it’s going to be an hour before we have cookies made for walk ins..it’s online orders only so you can place an online order and we’ll have the cookies ready for you in a half hour since we’re running out of cookies” but served the two customers in front of us and when we left she locked the door. Probably won’t be going back. Horrible customer service.

Omg!!! Best cookies ever! We just happened to be in the area and had a taste for cookies. We didnt want to go to a restaurant for the usual skillet cookie or some cookies added to a bowl of ice cream. I asked Google to show me cookies near me - and there was Insomnia! The cookies are super delicious! Even later in the day after sitting for 6 hours - they were stilll soft! I will be making the trip to return soon....definitely worth the drive from anywhere.

I went to this place for a part delivery position and spoke with the manager as well as a young lady on duty. They were very pleasant and waiting on my phone call to be part of the team.👍🤞

Decent cookies, but extremely frustrating customer service experience. They didnt deliver half of our order - which is a little annoying but happens sometimes. Not a big deal. But this place apparently decided they dont need a working phone. We have been on hold for nearly 20 minutes right now. Imagine ordering a couple pizzas, and only 1 shows up and then you cant get in touch with them afterwards. We used the app to order, and they charged us for the full order, but the app is just generally pathetic and there is no chat function. At least give us a refund!!!
