I went to Whole Foods today to buy some mushrooms. When I opened them at home which was on the same day I realized they were covered in Mould. It could have cause me serious health issues specially when it comes to mushrooms you should be extra careful.Wholefood stands for its fresh products. I‘m expecting to get at least a better quality for the higher price I pay
Best darn healthy salad and hot food bar in the USA! Ive been eating here for 12 years. You pick just what you want and pay $9.99 a pound. Its my health insurance plan. Much cheaper than chemo, which costs $12,000 a month!Heres a shout out to Linda, Jim and Jake (in the photo) who keep everything well stocked. Thanks a lot you guys! When do we get some country music here in Colorado? Or do I have to go back to Tennessee?
Whole Foods puts up a lot of signage, in their stores, to convince you that they are committed to quality. At this location I remain unconvinced. I do think that the Corporate Whole Foods organization goes to great effort to make sure that the shopping experience and products are as high quality as they can be. While they do give a tremendous effort to win us over, at the same time the local location messes up the easy part due to carelessness.About 8 months ago I had an unfortunate experience, at this Whole Foods, where I bought a pound of butternut squash ravioli with the wrong label on it. Because of the carelessness of the person who labeled the product my girlfriend had a bad reaction to the food because she has a bad nut allergy, but the incorrectly labeled product didn’t show that it was made with pine nuts.It was a long time before I felt confident enough to shop at this Whole Foods again. Today, after finishing at the gym, I arrived at Whole Foods at 7 AM when they opened, and was hopeful to put together a salad, that I could bring to work for lunch. To my dismay, the salad bar didn’t have any lettuce on the line, and all of the other components were covered up with plastic wrap as if customers were not supposed to serve themselves. How disappointing it was that, when the store opened, this Whole Foods was not prepared to serve their customers.I find it disappointing because I really like Whole Foods, but it’s hard to like a store who doesn’t like you back. This is a grocery store owned by a multi billion dollar parent company. You would think they could get their act together. They go out of their way to tell me about their commitment to quality, with the words written all over the store, but the carelessness of their day to day operations says something entirely different to me. I see the same thing from their parent company, Amazon: A multi billion dollar organization whose delivery drivers can’t seem to deliver packages to the correct address. I see you, Whole Foods; but you do not see me.
Great experience, the Whole Foods way. The young lady I asked where I could find something, walked me over to the product. Just fantastic.
🚙 🔌 Free EV plug in !!!Not too busy on Sunday evenings.Everyone helpful.Easy to socially distance. But, the meat counter guy ignored me to wrap a phone-in order w/o explaining 1st nor would he explain who gets priority. The customer on the phone or the one in person. 🤷🏻♀️Free EV car 🚗 plug- in 🔌 though!Might be easier to phone my order next time 👍
The store is very clean and the staff was super friendly:) Michael in the bakery was very helpful and knowledgeable. I will be shopping here often!!
Friendly associates, lots of great produce, love the chicken salad sandwiches!
Prices have gone up since Bezos needed a raise. If these essential workers are covering for the long haul during this pandemic, pay them a livable wage $20/hr would be decent. Basically working for two retailers
Always a nice selection of food, but the enforcement of masks was virtually non existent. I did not feel safe to shop inside the store.
Ive always had a great experience at this Whole Foods. The staff behind the counter in the bakery are always helpful and their cranberry walnut bread is amazing! Every time I need help finding a product, I can easily find an employee to help. They also have a large beauty selection. Certainly my favorite While Foods.
The service and vitamin selection are top notch. I appreciate their help when Im trying to find good supplements to enhance my workouts.
Enjoyed looking around and finding other things that we can eat. My husband wanted to take me there since I have a high gluten sensitivity. If I smell food that has gluten or gluten flour. I quickly get sick. So its nice to walk around and not have that fear. Found some delicious snacks to try. We bout some dehydrated pinapple and mangoes. The pineapple is the best. The mangoes are ok. Not great. We did buy some others things that sounded interesting to try.
Great selection but lines are way to long. It’s 2021, get self check out please.
Wonderful. Everything there is so tasty and made with very good ingredients and I can find the organic produce that I love! Thank you Whole Foods🥰
I do my Amazon returns here. Excellent service with that and I never leave without purchasing a new treat or product. Great Belmar location!!
Great selection and layout. One of my favorite wf locations.
Clean well organized. healthy stuff for better prices than the health food at larger stores. I was in and out quick; would recommend to a friend
I love this place its always clean everything is fresh the staff is friendly its a little crowded at times
This is an indirect review on the Amazon return service offered at Whole Foods, which was my sole reason for visiting. Wow, is that a good system. You dont have to wrap or pack anything, just bring the item here and they take care of the return for you.Awesome.
Whole Foods had Google delete my original review, so here it is again. Marcie, one of the Managers on duty, approaches me every single time Im in the store & follows me around while Im doing my shopping & when Im ready to checkout, standing in the checkout lane to purchase my items, she approaches me & tries to force me to wear a surgical face mask & tells me that I need to wear one in order to be in the store. Then, she refused to allow me to purchase my groceries. She interrupted the customer who was in the middle of a transaction right in front of me by telling the Cashier to move & then proceeding to slam the lane closed sign down on the belt. She continued following me around threatening to call Security on me when all I was trying to do was purchase my groceries. I tried to explain that I have a severe breathing problem & it is documented by my Doctor that I can NOT wear a face mask due to my health condition. I have explained this to her before & when I tried to explain it to her again, she laughed at me & continued to harass me. She kept yelling OUT at me like I was a dog that just did business inside the house. Marcie, the employee who is the Manager on duty in the front-end department does not like people with disabilities & harasses them‼🚨 Marcie discriminates against people with disabilities‼ This is all you need to know about Whole Foods. They do not believe in human rights.
The people at this location are rude, rude, rude. I came in to buy three items. I go to the checkout line and no lanes open! Really Whole Foods? NO express lanes open either and when I asked an employee to open a line he snapped at me saying he was waiting for his manager. A large line developed when one cashier opened a lane and people were getting angry who was next. Management in this place is a joke for sure including supervisors. The store itself is dingy and dark along with the morale in this place. The Denver west location is livelier!
Best thing about this place is it right next door :) get all my fresh produce, so far the only place i know that has the fresh an juicy snapper
Whole paycheck is great as usual but $$$
Fresh bread, jumbo organic eggs, excellent selection of fish, and cannot wait for the food bars to reopen.
My daughter asked me to go here for a couple of things. They had a nice set up. Things were easy to find. Everyone was nice, at the bakery, the deli, through out the store but one man.. As a mother who has medical problems with heat (and heart) and a daughter with the same medical problems. All that heat right back in our face isnt a good thing. Both she and I are not supposed to wear a mask. But I wear it as a courtesy with only my nose out of the mask. My daughter wasnt wearing one. A man was not happy with me about my nose being out. Even though we were leaving. He was very angry about it. I wont be going back. Ever!
An alright store, definitely not my element. Came for the tres leches cake slices and they were out 🥺Paid with EBT and disappointed that the cold deli options arent covered because theyre hand prepared as the employee told me. Not her fault, but would appreciate some signage indicating this as I had to return the meal. Left a bit hungry
At Whole Foods Market you can find anything you need and at the price you desire; from gifts to every day consumption, and its easy to pick up your On Line Orders as well as it is a pleasant store to visit and shop from 😎👌🕵️🕵️♀️
Worst whole foods i have ever been in. Fish area stank of spoiled fish, deli soups were burnt, dried out and unedible. The salads were good and those ingredients tasted fresh. Sorely dosappointed. Wont return.
Been there several times with long checkout lines and the store seemingly pays no attention. No new registers are opened and customers are just supposed to deal with it I guess.
A great place to shop that supports local sources/farmers. Helps communities all over so you can feel good paying a few bucks more for what they offer. Has a fresh and wide variety of foods that run the gamut as well as a nice craft beer selection. With kind customer service that goes above and beyond, what more could you want out of a grocery store?
Great place to find hard to get items or specialty items that King Soopers or Walmart wont carry great selection of organic foods
It was very spacious and clean!
I went there specifically to purchase the bass the ad has on sale.Today is the 1st day of the sale, however when I asked for the bass that is on sale the young man said we dont have any. So I said oh so the ad is wrong? No he says its on sale we just dont have any too sell!
Great whole foods! Have a mix of brands Ive seen in other whole foods and lots of local items. I didnt interact with many of the staff but everyone seemed friendly.
Came here prior to the pandemic when the hot bar was open and their Buffalo Cauliflower is DELICIOUS! Add the house made bbq sauce and you got an amazing vegetarian option to buffalo wings.
This is a good Whole Foods to go to!!! Ive been to a few and this store always seems to be the best
So today we tried the pizza that’s made by the pizza shop in the store and it is so good!Thank you to the very nice and skilled chef!!! We appreciate you for the great food!
Whole Foods is always a good option for supplies. The produce looked really fresh today.
Bad experience in every department that I had interaction with employees. Few others tried to fix it but failed. Not happy at all.
If you want a delicious cake for b day this is a great place also has everything whole foods is known for
Not the best selection compared to some of the other locationsBut nice staff and clean store
Produce is better at Sprouts- and is not near as pretentious. Seriously shopping at Whole Foods does not make you any more of a person- I promise. From one human to another. Since the food bars are now gone- its not worth the price.
This used to be the place I could go to for higher end, quality food. Now, it looks like King Soopers (not intended intended to be an insult). Waited in line for 8 minutes, while an employee disinfected the counter more than is done in an emergency room after every customer. Its Wednesday!!!! Get your stuff together or close down. Either way, doesnt matter to me, Ill stills find what I want to eat.
Great people amazing selections
Easy to shop layout, good selection and friendly staff.
Standard whole foods, friendly and helpful staff. The hot bar had good variety until covid shut it down
Not very crowded. Plenty of checkers. In and out! Great store!!!
Good fresh variety
The store is very clean and nice wide aisles!
Your employees need to learn the bulk food codes or write them down instead of sending paying customers to go look for them. theres like 10 codes. not hard. for how expensive whole foods is your customer service should be top notch, I shouldnt be sent to the back of the line and across the store to go find a produce code for ALMONDS.
They are improving but too many sections of the store were not ready to do business at 7:30 am and they open at 7:00 am.
One of the largest stores in lakewood. Great seafood and steak selection. You need to check out the cakes in the bakery section
Had everything we needed and their meats were fantastic.
I bought a bag of gluten free oatmeal and it went bad. The expiration date said Jan 2021. The only thing I got was an Im sorry.. I couldnt even exchange without a receipt. This is why I will continue to shop at Sprouts and Trader Joes. Never stepping into another Whole Foods again.
I understand that the pandemic has brought a reduction to the amount of prepared food thats offered here. But the selection is significantly limited.
Great service at all of our areas. Beef, entries/salads, and desserts. Kudos to Jake at the entries/ salads.
This whole foods has products I havent seen at other locations. Its a clean store. I only gave it 4 stars because whole foods products just arent the quality they used to be. One of the best things they sell are the local Denver greens Gotham Greens. They are fresh and not from California.
You no longer need to scan the WF QR code on your phone at checkout to receive the Prime discounts, just pay with an Amazon Prime credit card.
Love this placeYou will love it to
Clean pleasant shopping experience with gourmet food in abundance
Its a very nice store the employees seem to be nice and courteous but they dont go out of their way to try to help somebody and if you ask see if they have anything in stock they wont do it for you but as far its a clean store I would go there again
I love this store- it’s the only place I shop anymore. I feel safe shopping with all the COVID protocols in place. Nothing is perfect and people make mistakes there, but everyone is working really hard!
Had a Chantilly cake made for a birthday. It was excellent.
King supers across the street is half the price and its the exact same produce. For example broccolini is sold by the bundle at King Soopers for the same price as it is sold by the pound at Whole Foods. One bundle is about 2 pounds so at WF you are paying double.
It was my first time in the store.but I really like it
I was at this whole foods today and what a terrible experience. I am a long time whole foods customer and primarily shop in the golden, co location. I thought id stop in lakewood since i was in the area. What a mistake. First of all no produce bags were available in the produce. Second i went to the spice shelf and two employees were having a loud personal conversation, blocking the entire shelf. I asked politely to look at the spices and the said no they were restocking. Meanwhile they were just gossiping. Then i went to the fish counter... line was 10 deep. No social distancing. Then to top it it off the checkout lines. They went all the way down the store aisles. I waited 20 min only to find out i was accidently in the express lane and the cashier refused to check me out, ordering me to the back of line that extended to back of the store. Whole foods, i shop with you mostly because of the customer service and the quality of your employees. If this how you treat customers now, I wont be back.
Very cleanThey are watching how many people enter. They are cleaning carts. They are helpfulThey are expensive. They have good keto choices if you are willing to pay for them. The checkers are friendly.
Usual great quality 😁
Great products, as usual. I left with more and spent more than intended, as usual. Sanitation was clearly a top priority. I felt safe, without reservation. One small issue... There were so many in-store shoppers, Prime presumably, I sometimes felt like a road hazard. It wasnt just the number of them, but there seemed to be a lack of spacial awareness, often associated with intentional courtesy. It only cost WF one star, this time. I hope this is a prompt toward training.
Great Whole Foods!
Visit vitamin cottage, way better pricing!
Oh, you dont take checks here❓Well in that case, enjoy returning my $200 worth of groceries to the shelves then.😏 Byeeee.
Ive been to many whole foods across the country, this is the WORST one Ive been to. Its a huge store but yet their shelves are always blown out and look a hot mess. Everywhere you turn you see an Amazon shopper looking clueless. On top of that, they have someone yelling at customers to cover their noses with a mask. I understand being safe, but this is too much. Ive never been in any other whole foods where theyre yelling at me telling me what to do. Ill take my money to the Littleton store instead.
I have to say the fact that they no longer make the burritos for you infuriates me! It was one thing when it was just the breakfast burritos but now its the lunch and dinner ones too? Theyre the main reason I come into WF 2 or 3 times a week. Now theyre all self serve and just to start the tortillas are hard as rocks sitting in a warming tray in the hot bar. Seems like theyve been there all day. Plus no one wants to wrap their own, I dont have time for that. With a qdoba across the street and a chipolte not much further from me I suddenly think Ill save a lot more gas
First time in this store, its beautiful, but wont be back. My wife was ordering fish and the employee didnt hear, so she pulled her mask forward to answer. Another employee about 15 feet away calls her out for doing that. She responded sorry, but he couldnt hear me so thats why i was doing it. He responds yes, but that defeats the whole purpose, my wife says ok, but he couldnt hear me. Then he says it louder and ruder Yes, but it defeats the whole purpose as hes walking away (needed to get the last word in I guess)Its ok to point something out a customer is doing wrong. You dont call them out and then argue, and get loud. Last time shopping there, which is unfortunate.
If youve got the money, this is a perfect grocery store!
As a long-time WFM shopper, I continue to be saddened by the decline generally of WFM since Amazon took over. This is particularly evident at this Lakewood location. The cashiers are friendly, but customer service and those on the floor are not helpful at all. I returned multiple, spendy bad produce items and while I received a refund I didnt get a sorry you bought bad produce and had to spend 1 hr of your day returning from the customer service rep or manager on duty. Pathetic. Im done shopping at WFM as the quality just isnt there. Shop at Natural Grocers and get your meat from Leevers Locavore, Sprouts, Trader Joes ... pretty much everywhere else offers a superior customer experience. Im done giving WFM/Amazon my money - especially this Lakewood location - for subpar quality, particularly in the produce aisle.
Very well stocked and excellent staff.
Appreciate how thorough they are with cleaning and sanitizing the carts! Fairly clear entrance and exit to support social distancing. The clerks are all super friendly and the store is really clean.
Friendly staff. Store is always clean and organized. Great people and excellent produce selections. I love shopping at this place.
Good location and selection. Underground garage parking is wonderful on a hot day. Their bags do break super easy so just be careful to load light.
This store is a little to far for me, but they have the large selection of items that I buy. And the staff are very helpful. Thank you
I just love the environment at whole foods what a great place to work and shop!!!
Clean, courteous. They are standing outside wiping carts down.
Honestly, for a whole foods this place was very lackluster and subpar. In part this may be because of the continued negative impacts Amazon owning Whole Foods has...the staff were great though
This evening the guy at the deli who stepped up when they had no one at the pizza department made me the best Margherita pizza ever.
Now im taking a shower and my girlfrien is waiting in the lot
So clean and they took care to make sure everyone has a mask on. I feel very safe here! This was my first time to the grocery store since March!
We got two salads from the salad bar during the lunch hour. I appreciate the variety in salad and hot bar selection. It was also reasonably clean, even during a busy time of day. It was somewhat stocked, but that could have used some improvement. The cashier was friendly and engaging. I wouldnt go out of my way to return to the salad bar, but it met my salad craving for the day.
Very clean and organized. Found all my items very easy and staff was very polite
Linda in the specialty department is wonderful, her smile and attitude makes the most of my shopping experiences at whole foods
Covered parking. Nice assortment, but pricey.
Good selection of natural foods.
Good parking, because it wasnt busy. Found everything I wanted in close proximity-hooray. In and out.
Good if you can afford .
