We had carpet installed a few months before the pandemic started. We moved all the furniture for them from all four bedrooms so they could work faster. The old carpet wasnt removed until late afternoon so they didnt start installation until dinner time. The installers asked halfway through if they could come back to finish...but it would be in a few days since their other job was on the other end of the city...I told them they needed to finish because these were our BEDROOMS and we couldnt go without a place to sleep for a few days until they came back. Clearly they rushed and did a sloppy job. (See photos.)It was our first time ever installing carpet and hoped the visible seams would become less obvious over time. Of course, every time Empire Today called to ask us to buy more flooring, I requested to speak to customer service but they would transfer me to leave a random voicemail or simply hang up on me.Fast forward to June of 2021 and I finally was able to track down someone who could help me repair the carpet. Long story short, it took four more months for someone to come out. Then I was charged hundreds of dollars to have them fix their mess and now I have multiple seams in the hallways, etc. where they repaired their mistakes...plus the carpet doesnt match anymore because the original had been walked on for almost two years.Even though we bought the best carpet and pad they had, it looks just terrible. Plus, they do not care at all about making it right. Do NOT give these people your business!

They have no customer service line. Waited forever to try and talk to someone about how the installers broke our treadmill, left garbage behind in our window sill, damaged a wood transition when they covered it with carpet when they shouldn’t have. Plus they left carpet debris all over our driveway.

Empire has made picking there company for carpet install close to impossible! Every single person i have spoken with has given me a complete run around and pushed my install date out with every phone call! The faster timeframe is the main reason we choose Empire for our carpet and yet they have ended up not being faster then every single competitor. They also say “ price match guarantee” however when i showed then 3 other carpet price quotes from their competitors, all being $600-$900 less they said I quote “Empire can not do the price match with out the exact specs of the other carpet.” However I gave them the exact printed out quotes I was given with samples of the carpet to go with it! Do use Empire! They dont stand by what they say and there customer service team doesnt care!

I drove all the way to the Lakewood CO, store only to find out they no longer have walk-in facilities. Despite the fact that they advertised this location being open...poor for business!
