First off I would like to say that Jon and Travis were awesome to work with! I had been searching for a 5th Gen Toyota 4Runner that had been heavily modified. I found Epic Autos somehow and reached out to them.I kid you not. They were such a pleasure to work with that I flew in from North Carolina to Colorado. The guys at Epic Autos were very accommodating and picked me up from the airport. When I arrived at their dealership I found the vehicle I had been searching for. I made an offer and they waited 24 hours before replying with this text. After rereading it, Im not even sure who sent it. But, it sounds like theyre gloating about the fact that they were able to get their full asking price. They were also nice enough to let me know that the market valuation tools everyone uses are worthless and you should trust their valuation because they actually sell cars. They also still want me to buy a car from them apparently.This could have ended differently if you either promptly rejected my offer or notified me of the sale without the gloating or condescending reply. Congratulations, you were able to close that deal for an extra $500, but how much did that text cost you? It cost you one potential future sale, referrals, and hopefully anyone reading this review. Please antagonize me more.For buyers, heres something I learned. Everyone is nice to you when youre willing to pay their full asking price. Most of these positive reviews are probably from people that overpaid. These guys have Carvana like pricing except you still have to deal with crummy salesmen.

Zero Stars may be more accurate, Travis was initially super nice, no negotiating we were ok with that, Drove the car for a month, it had a leaking radiator, an axle boot torn, then the heater core, then head gasket and sensor. He wanted us to take it to the mechanic that he recommended that looked it over before the sale and that just seems like a bad idea since he was not competent in the first place. Travis offered to help but then a few days later without talking to us sent a nasty email that he did not want to deal with us anymore. We took the car to 3 different mechanics, all very reputable shops, before doing the repairs and they all had the same diagnosis so it was not a fallacy that the car needed all these items.

Travis is great. He really did try hard to help us. I have bad luck with used vehicles. The Tacoma I bought was priced a little high, but Travis assured me I wouldn’t have to do any work on it because they had done everything it needed. In hindsight I should have gotten a mechanic to check, just to be sure. One week in I had to replace the starter and fuel pump. Travis was great and paid $180 for the labor, even though the truck was sold without a warranty. It cost me $500 for the rest. All in all, I’d still recommend this place. They are very responsive to all of my questions and have really great customer service.*Replying* The four wheel drive never did start working right. It works about half the time, but when I do get it to engage it does work and stay on. Its not worth driving to Denver again so I just keep an eye on the weather.

These guys are straight shooters and I loved how he went over every aspect of the Toyota Prius that I was looking at. Really helpful information that a lot of car dealers dont take the time to tell you. I recently purchased a Toyota 4Runner from Ray at Epic Autos who was great to work with. A few weeks after the purchase the transmission started to act up and required major repair work. I called to share this with Ray. Without hesitation he said he would pay for half of the repair cost. Im certain Ray didnt knowingly sell me a car he knew had a problem, but was still surprised when he offered to write me a check. Bought a van with a rebuilt transmission and warranty. Total lie, had it back within a month to the transmission warranty place for a patch job that didnt last. Cant keep taking a car back to Denver that they never really fix when we use this vehicle daily for work. Ended up getting a REAL rebuilt transmission for 3500 from a reputable place. Totally miss lead on the transmission and warranty wasnt worth crap. Will never ever ever go back here👎

Just bought a used truck from Travis with Epic Autos and I have to mimic everything that the other users have posted. His honesty and transparency were first class when it comes to dealers as Ive seen plenty of shady ones out. There was some minor front damage that I would have never known or even seen until he explained that it had been done before. Also, there were a few things needing replacement such as a rear taillight and he is currently sending it my way because he wouldnt sell it without properly replacing it at no additional cost. Its a small building complex in an area that you wouldnt consider to be a car dealer and so initially I was honestly pretty sketched out, but his office and garage are immaculate and he is just a smaller dealer. No complaints whatsoever and highly recommend his services.

I was in the market to buy a used car for my daughter, who just got her license, and after investigating various alternatives, ultimately purchased a car from Travis at Epic Autos. Let me say that many of the alternatives I checked into seemed very shady and unreliable - big dealerships that were high-pressure and only after a large commission, private parties that wanted to sell but didnt make it convenient to see/show the car, etc. Travis at Epic Autos broke the mold. Yes he talks fast (he is a salesman after all), but there was something different about him - he was honest and trustworthy and willing to back up his statements with facts/evidence. He was knowledgeable, but he also frankly admitted when he didnt know something (I dont know where the timing chain is.). He was not just interested in doing business and making a sale, but was willing to put forth the extra effort to make it happen. There was no pressure applied, no games played, and best of all, he followed through on commitments and did everything he said he would do! Such a refreshing change from other folks I had dealt with. Yes, I was out to get the best car value for the price (and I think I ended up with that), but Travis also made the entire buying experience very pleasant and efficient. I am very pleased with the car I purchased and would highly recommend Travis and Epic Autos!

We were looking for a used Honda CR-V that is in decent condition and has good price. After searching at the craigslist and on the websites of several dealers, we found the one at Epic Autos Colorado that met our requirements. My nephew requested for more details about the car (you know.. young generation know more about these things) on my behalf with Travis and Travis was very prompt and honest in providing the requested information. So, we decided that we will buy this car if it drives well. We didnt even bother to look and bargain at different places because the price was right. We had a pre-approved loan (from a big bank) hoping that this way we can drive back with the car same day. But our big bank disappointed us and wanted us to buy a much newer vehicle. Anyway, Traviss good business relationships with local credit union helped us in getting the loan and we could drive the car back home same day as we planned. I sent email (Mr. Stahle) in for a truck asking if they would accept 2K off the asking price. Which I think is reasonable, because everyone knows you have to leave some room for dealing with the employees. Then gave the basics of my vehicle that would be traded in. And the response I got was absolutely ill-behaved and probably every synonym one could possibly think of for the word RUDE.This place will never get my business or anyone that I know!!!

I found Epic on Craiglist and what sold me were the Google reviews. Talking with Travis on the phone, he didn’t sound shmoozy, he sounded completely normal; meeting him in person was the same. Recently bought an SUV from Travis and had to relay the experience. My Ford Exploder finally was crapping out... Well, two years ago I bought my Tacoma from Travis and it is still running strong. My wife and I wanted to get rid of her Subaru and buy a Lexus GX470. I just bought a 2006 Acura MDX from Travis. He is very polite, knowledgeable, and transparent about how he does business. The car was in fantastic condition. His other vehicles seemed to be in similar condition. Bought a truck 60 days ago from these guys. Nothing but problems from literally the day I left the dealership and the problems continue. They refuse to help or make it right. Ive sunk a couple thousand dollars in it before my temp tags were even expired. Tie rod ends, rear main seal, air injection pumps, steering knuckle, wheel bearings, ball joints, alternator and still having issues. Bad business!! DISAPPOINTED

The first reason I love this place is because the people I dealt with did NOT try to pull any shenanigans with me, and were honest with me and listened to all concerns I had and ideas about what vehicles should be priced at. What a breath of fresh air!If you appreciate honest people who sell quality used cars, Epic Autos should be your go-to. I bought my car from them (an 08 RDX), and noticed right off the bat that Travis (the owner) was responsive, open, and incredibly knowledgeable. I actually bought my car from Nate (Mr. Hotwheelz haha) and he was equally personable, honest, and knowledgeable. In the end, I got a fantastic deal and love, love, love my new-to-me car. Keep in mind that Epic Autos specializes in mid-size 4WD and AWD vehicles, so this is an especially great place to check out if youre looking for a Colorado-proof car. My only *minor* gripe is that I was told the gas tank would be filled when I came to pick my car up, and it actually only had a quarter tank.Overall, this was an incredibly up-front, easy, and honest transaction.
