I usually go to the Riverpoint location, but I checked this one out a couple times while I was in the area. It seems like a smaller store, so there was less selection. Still everything one would need, though. I dislike the shopping area where it is located. The parking lot is like a zoo every time I go. Otherwise, a decent store.

Michaels is a place to get items needed for quick art projects. It is NOT the place to shop as an artist. They are VERY expensive. You can purchase the same products over Amazon and save a lot more. Doing a cost comparison to the same or similar products, you can clearly save a lot more. The customer service is average, nothing exceptional. It is difficult to find someone to ask questions of or get help. I have found shopping at Michaels is not worth the expense. I would rather wait a day for Amazon to deliver at much more affordable prices.

I love shopping at Michaels. I always find what I need. Prices are very reasonable! Even have good sales. Which make prices even better. Store is always clean. Whenever I need help finding something, someone is there to help. And when they didnt have exactly what I needed, but another store did, I couldnt make it to that store, I set up a delivery for it, and it was here in a matter of hours. It was awesome! Michaels will always be my go to for Crafts!💙

The cashier didnt seem interested in my request for pen I usually purchase at other locations called Purple Black, this particular Store never orders it, or has it in stock, or I would purchase many! But, whomever orders single pens at this store doesnt seem interested that they are missing out in these great writing ink pens

Great staff! Friendly and knowledgeable of their inventory. They didnt have what I wanted so staff directed me to 2 other stores along w directions to get there. Cashier was very pleasant and answered my questions about Craft Nights. She also signed me up for their email reminders plus discounts. All 4 staff I had contact with were great in their knowledge and customer care ❤ Thank you from a newbie to Lakewood !

Staff was pleasant and helpful. At this time I was looking for some beads for loom work and there was not a very big selection on beads. Also could not find graph paper to make patterns. Bathrooms were not filthy but they did need some attention. I hate bathrooms where the ring is not secured and you suddenly feel that panic when your whole body shifts off the throne. 👸

I usually shop at this michael’s, the staff is generally very nice and the store has a great selection, however every time i go into the restroom at this location it always smells and is absolutely filthy. The floors have so much grime and dirt it’s almost like they haven’t cleaned in ages. The trashes are always overflowing and there’s always flies. Just generally disgusting. fix it.

I ordered 4 shirts for delivery. The order was cancelled when doordash showed up and Michaels was paying 5$. Now I cant get my whole refund and on top of that the manager of this store, Jackie, has a massive attitude and was extremely rude on the phone. I just want a total refund of my product and no headaches and I will never ever buy from a Michaels store again.

I went into Michaels looking for the 70% off coupons that ended on Saturday yesterday and they had most of them in stock still so I did get some. But then I saw they had a whole lot of other sales going on sales that I didnt expect. I was able to buy epoxy quick epoxy with the light malls for the epoxy the storage containers tent and the other things I bought but it only totaled 80 bucks. I think everything I bought was on sale. maybe something for a dollar 99 I got the 20% off coupon on. But they really are having some fantastic sales give it a try go in there or get on their website and look.

This place is always good About my returns, if I have my receipt or it’s on my rewards they give me cash back, that’s why I shop here! sometimes they have really good deals on picture frames

Manager guy says the website doesnt have whats in stock. its all behind the counter but they dont have any, EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE RE-STOCKED today? Employees scalping products? or just lying

Not great, went in an hour before they closed. And by the time I was ready to check out it was 6:40. The person on the intercom was just getting started, every 2 minutes she would announce Michael’s was closing, cool I get that. That’s chill giving a heads up 20 min before close. Got in line, a big line, and waited. In the time I was waiting 6:40-6:55, she had announced 12 times that the store was closing. Like, yeah we get it. At 6:50 she announced EVERY MINUTE TILL CLOSE! For real, and she was aggressive about it, “Attention customers, Michael’s will be closing in 4 minutes, if you are not in line by then you can not check out and will be asked to leave.” Whoa lady, I get it... But everyone in the store was in line waiting to check out.. maybe get off your intercom and help the ONE AND ONLY cashier. Won’t return, that was uncomfortable and not my kind of craft shopping vibe, it should be fun to go to a store like this and shop. I had no intentions of staying past close... I understand how hours of operations work. 0 out of 5 stars, rude.

Reps werent super helpful. Wandered around awhile and couldnt find anyone. When I did, they just wanted to drop me off at a spot, said end of this aisle instead of helping me. But it was after a 3 day weekend so maybe they were busy restocking

The reason this store is so nice to go to is the people that work there are not only friendly, but go out of their way to help you. Many times they know the craft or can point you to someone who does if you are unsure of the product, and they do everything they can to help you get what you need.

This is a mediocre Michaels. Not as big as some. Decent selection. The day I was here they needed another cashier real bad. All in all it was a so so middle of the line experience. Not bad, not great.

Easy order pickup. There are guidelines on the floor to show you which way to walk, but they dont seem to be followed. 5 stars for staying well-stocked and having great face masks for sale near check out.

For me is one of the best stores Ive visited here. Very good assortment, very good implantation - its easy to find you need without help, when you have no time. When you have time - just enjoy being in store and get inspiration. Very nice and kind team.

I go to Michaels for all my scrapbooking needs! They always have great deals and I can always find what I need, and more! Its especially great when they have big BOGO sales on paper. I made sure to stock up once and have had paper for years.... and for a great price! Cant wait to come back and browse again!

There was no one around to ask for help and after spending 120.00 at their store the cashier took all my 20 dollar bills and ran them thru a machine to Check to make sure they were real. So yeah Im good on this chain.

A year into COVID and EVERYONE has online ordering and pickup down to a science. King Soopers, Target, Home Depot, Best Buy are all making it as easy as possible for people to shop contact-free. Michaels, on the other hand, cannot seem to figure it out. Whether youre planning on going inside to pick up your order or doing curbside pickup, they will make it difficult, make you wait far longer than what is acceptable, and then tell you that its your fault that things went awry.

Always have bought supplies for scrapbooking at Michaels. I was really disappointed in the sticker selection! Used to be 2 isles crammed full of so many choices. Down to half an isle with boring sad selection. However the rest of the store was its usual outstanding variety of must have items!

Multipule isles were empty. It is very difficult to find a sales clerk to help you.

Customer service was poor. The girl at checkout was great but someone cancelled my friends online order one hour before we arrived at the store, so my friend had to buy her item essentially twice because she paid for it online and even though they said they returned the money...it wasnt automatically available on her card. Not a big deal...but it did leave her without $40 for a day or two. An inconvenience that I believe unnecessary and avoidable had the policy on online orders been more forgiving and cooperative. But we love this store so...just some feedback. ✓✓

Friendly staff, like most craft stores regular priced items are very expensive, but they do have sales and coupons that cut the cost. I wish they had a fabric section, and more of a yarn selection. Other craft items they do have a huge selection, but I would go somewhere else for yarn, and of course fabric since they dont carry it. I

Im a professional artist and I get a lot of my supplies here. I suggest sticking to the higher level of canvases, I have had issues with the level 1 canvases. Had them warp after painting and such. Have used their framing department to great success!

We were standing at the spray paint cage for over five minutes and pressed the button several times. I understand they were short-staffed but when I called and spoke to a cashier (yes I called from within the store because I couldnt find anyone to help me), she told me that I would have to wait until the line was completely gone and then someone could help. I offered to stand in line and when I got to the register, then the cashier could go grab the spray paint for me. Seemed like a good solution to the problem. She told me no. That I would have to just wait. Definitely didnt want to spend 20 minutes waiting for spray paint, so Im going to hobby lobby. Im a frequent shopper at this location but Ill be going elsewhere from now on. Theyre always short-staffed, so this was nothing new...but thats not my problem. Sounds like management needs to run this store better.

Good selection, decent prices

Usually, this store is stocked and organized. It can be difficult to find help. I once waited for 20 minutes to get something down from the over stock. The line can also be an issue. Often there are several people in line and only one cashier. Overall, I have had good experiences here.

The ladies that work here either completely ignore you or are very rude to you when you ask a question. Also one of the girls that was stalking was not paying attention to customers and I watched her hit another customer with her cart. Will definitely be going to different Michael store in future.

You can never find anyone to help you if you cant find something. 12 people in line and one cashier. They had low stock on pretty much everything.

I like Michaels because its open on Sunday, unlike Hobby Lobby.Not saying being closed on Sundays is a bad thing, I get the day of rest and religious rights.Sometimes you have to go to the hobby/craft store on Sunday though. And a Sunday afternoon a week from xmas, it was packed!Normally prefer Hobby Lobby though. Just sayin..

I love coming here for craft supplies, & the clearance aisle its always a stop for me & my bargain hunting. I try to go at the end of a season or after a holiday to save big on markdowns, & theres always that wonderful 20% off regular priced items coupon available on the app or through the mail. The staff is not always in the best mood, or knowledgeable about the products they sell, so I try to avoid approaching anyone who works there unless Im checking out... Thank goodness for that curbside or in-store pickup options.

If you need cheap craft stuff, Michaels can scratch the itch. But be a smart shopper. They always have deals and coupons. If it is full priced today, good chance it will be on sale tomorrow. Also, a great place to get stuff for kids parties or to make fun gifts.

The Lakewood store is not my normal location, so I didnt know the layout well. I asked for help finding an item and the employee struggled to understand and find it, which is why only 4 stars.The Covid safety measures were clear to understand. Customers and employees were wearing masks and maintaining space - I very much appreciated this.

Great location, huge store, usually pretty organized and neat! However, I wish they would increase the amount of staff. Checkout can be pretty slow, with many registers not open, even on Saturdays. The employees often seem very stressed, though they still provide service with a smile. They have often expressed having tough days, and they seem a bit understaffed?

This is my favorite Michaels store. Its a fairly large location, so they have a wonderful variety of products. The staff are always sweet and helpful. They have gone out of their way for me in the past, so I make it a point to visit this location as often as possible for all my crafting needs.

I went with my family for first time and we had a really bad experience with a young lady (she said is the manager). I do not want to come back anymore.

Pretty good, not well stocked. They had just buffed the floors so it smelled of cleaner and craft flowers! Maybe due to sales but just coming from Hobby lobby, it seemed very over priced and lacking the same selection. The staff was very nice and helpful. They do have items Hobby lobby does not though and good sales as well. If you need something go for it, if you plan ahead and need something go the the other.

I went to ask the lady with red hair for help finding water color paints. She promptly ignored me and walked away as if I hadnt spoken a word. This was incredibly rude and obnoxious behavior. The check out line had 8 people waiting with 1 cashier, as I watched a handful of free employees ignore the problem. This is not motivating me to return here in the future.

They changed online pickup hours and refused to refund my purchase even though the link on the email said I could pick up till store closing. The manager kept calling me hun and refused to stop even after I told her to stop. She threatened to call the cops on me just because I wanted the items I had already paid for. I will never be returning to this michaels again.

All Michael stores are basically the same. The only real difference is the available inventory and the staff. Both the aforementioned above average.

They have everything with the exception of doll eyes. If you need doll eyes for a project youll have to head over to Hobby Lobby.
