I do not feel safe using their products. I had their fireplace and flue installed by the dealer they authorized and trained. They could not install my fireplace correctly and couldnt fix it after trying 4 times.Manufacturer did nothing to assume responsibility or hold vendor I sourced through them accountable. Support is non-existent. They protect the dealer, not the consumer who uses their products in their home.

I tried calling for support and their automated system is an endless morass of confusing options with no clear option to talk to someone. I did get to a real person at one point and they just transferred me back to the automated system. Cannot recommend a company who creates such a confused support system.

Terrible direct consumer support. Contacted them to support my 3 y/o Vermont Casting Encore stove because my dealer could not support my problem. They would not give me any support and told me to call the dealer who was not able to support me in the 1st place.

They may make a good gas fire place but, they dont seem to understand wood burning fireplaces. Glass doors must be ordered separately. The glass doors are not compatible with the standard wire screen. They offered no fix, solution. The rep tried to make it my fault and the age of the unit(used 3mo)Deal with a real fireplace company.

We purchased a new-to-us home a few years ago, and it was in foreclosure at the time. The people that moved out did everything that they could to take anything that was not nailed down with them... and they even took some things that were nailed down too!The living room fireplace is a Heat n Glo model and it seemed in good condition -- just needing to be cleaned. Since Heat n Glo is owned by Hearth & Home, we contacted our local Hearth & Home store for the inspection and cleaning. Hearth & Home Technologies owns the Heat n Glo brand too.The Hearth & Home technician was excellent. After cleaning and inspecting the unit, he stated that the prior owners had not left us with a full compliment of log AND they had removed/taken the fan unit. He was able to order what we needed and came back about one week later to finish the installation.Once back up and running, the fireplace works very nicely and it looks great. based on our experience with this Heat n Glo unit and the Hearth & Home technician that helped us, we wold not hesitate to purchase a product from them again or use their services.

This company is terrible. Stay away! They could care less about fixing any issues and hearing about your needs. They are rude every step of the way and their Service Department is the worst (Especially Terese). Dont use this company for anything...they will do nothing but try to over charge you and be completely disrespectful towards you.

After much research and depending on their specification regarding heat output bought a Quadrafire Pellet stoves through their dealer here in Truro NS. Biggest rip-off the unit does not even come close to the 51,000 BTUs they claimed and after we had it installed we found out when presented with all the documentation that the EPA sticker showing it produced 19,000 less than they claimed.
