Easy to order online. They can you when your order is ready and you let them know when you will be there to pick up. They put it outside the door in a bag with your name on it. Easy and quick!

Did you know there is a box outside this store, totally unsecured with bags of free penzeys spices in it? They have peoples names on them, but they are clearly free for the taking!Or, alternatively, you could keep peoples online orders INSIDE the store, where they cant be stolen. I double checked and everything is there, but did not appreciate the way they are handling pickups. Who knows how long my order was sitting outside? Is it that hard to walk orders out to people?

Fantastic selection of extremely fresh spices and seasoning blends. You can usually find exactly what youre needing even if its an unusual spice or herb. They usually offer both whole or ground herbs and spices so you can choose to grind your own or use whole spices if your recipe needs that.Store staff has always been very friendly and helpful. During COVID-19, they have asked customers to shop on their website and they will assemble your purchases and have it ready for you to pickup curbside after they call you to schedule a convenient pickup time.

Currently Penzeys is only doing phone in or online orders. In store shopping is not available right now do to Covid-19. However, I was still impressed how fast it was to order and receive my spices. Im lucky to have a shop close by to pick up at the store. I just got a pepper mill and salt set. It seems really well made. Favorite spice is Northwoods. Oh and the pepper! Fantastic gifts! The only downside is the store hours. Check before you go.

We use to love this store, will NOT be going back they have gotten ridiculous the only way to shop is online! You cant get anything the same day if you need it. If grocery stores and all other retailers can be open there is NO excuse not to be open!!!

Put on a mask and open up already. Not thrilled that there are very limited hours and that the boss has very limited political views, but I can look past that...I like alot of the spice blends and vanilla choices, but they are rarely open when I can come by... so probably wont be coming back much.

There not allowing in store shopping. Thats okay however they are rude on the phone like you are bothering them. And I think the reason they want no one is there staff is not wearing mask. I know mask sucks but its worth it to not risk others health. At least to me. Needless to say I wont be back.

Just needed something for a recipe I wanted to make today. Their restrictions and rules for shopping were a bit much. Tried calling to place an order, (like the instructions on the sign said), and just watched the people inside not answer the phone. So, I ordered what I needed from Amazon as I sat in front of the store. So unfortunate.

This is a place where you can find that spice to make your dishes tasting superb. The smell when you walk makes you feel like your at home cooking. You get hungry from the smells. Dont go hungry. The nice thing is they have samples to smell for you to make that spice is right for that special dish. Customer service is pleasant and knowledgeable. Very clean.

Currently curbside only but they never disappoint. I called from the parking lot and had all this in 5 minutes. I purchased 2 spices and left with way more. Only one phone line so be patient if needed. Worth it to support Penzeys!!

This store has the highest quality spices and herbs. I just love many of their specialty spice/herb mixes as well. The store smells so good when you walk in. I love that I can smell each spice, especially if it is a spice Im not as familiar with. The staff is always knowledgeable and helpful. They have a nice little kid corner where kids can color and the staff will hand the drawing up. Always clean and all the spices are well displayed. They also have wonderful discounts often on specific spices.

One of my favorite places to get spices. Even though I live closer to the Minneapolis location I still get to this one because it is bigger with more walking space between shelves. The spices are top notch and they allow you to smell them before buying, which is very helpful when they have multiple sources for a spice like cinnamon. Staff is always helpful, and they often have great giveaway deals.

In this day and age you gotta vote with your Dollar as well as vote in every election. My dollars get spent at Penzeys when I need spices. Trump has tiny hands!

Best place to get an amazingly wide variety of fresh and rare spices

I was very disappointed to find that the store was only doing curbside delivery. I just wanted to run in and get something quickly. It is a long way out of my way. Most stores in my area are open.

Great place for high quality spices. If you know what your looking for its a quick in and out. If your not familiar with Penzeys, I would suggest spending some time here.

All of their spices are herbs are fantastic! (especially their pepper and season salts) I dont buy anywhere else. They have specials weekly if you sign up for their email. Love the philosophy too. If I could give bonus stars, I would.

I love this place. Great product at a reasonable price. The staff is exceptionally helpful. If you sign up for their emails, they send coupons all the time for free products. You just have to overlook the political opinions in those emails.

Store had easy parking. Spices and seasonings are arranged in a logical fashion and most have sample jars to smell. Good variety and some really stellar deals if you sign up for the newsletter. I bought several small jars to sample and am sure Ill get more!

First time visit. Found Penzeys to be an interesting store. The only expectations I had were that I would smell spices and be able to get some spices to try on my steaks. Both of which were fulfilled. I rated it a 3 only because I didnt have much time to look around some more. Employees were quite willing to help me find what I needed. I will return and expect that this rating will go up.

All the spices are so worth the price! Less is needed because they are so potent, so they last a while. The mixes are really unique. They also have an online shop if you live far away like me.

Love this place!!! I’ll only buy my spices and baking needs here. If you can’t find it here, you won’t find it anywhere. Their vanilla is the best, hands down. Their cocoa is better than the name brand.

So many uncommon spices. Which is of course the purpose for a store like this a niche market. They have a table where children can sit and be entertained by coloring and then their artwork can be posted on the wall. My four-year-old granddaughter delighted in taking a sniff of many of the spices.

Had a wide variety of spices at great prices. Have up to 3/4 cup bags. We saved $30 from the stuff we bought at Cub foods, and got more spice. The staff was great!

Total disaster of an experience with these people. I went in to buy one bottle of spice and when I got to the counter they had me run my credit card three times. THEN they told me they dont take American Express. So then I used my bank debit card. That also didnt work so the woman had me go to the other side of the counter to use the other machine. I told her I did not want to be charged twice and she said theres no chance of that happening. So we ran my debit card and it went through. She did mention that the first register had been problematic. Today when I looked at my bank statement, of course I had been charged twice.It is not even 7 PM and they are already closed. Tomorrow I have to make an extra trip to go talk with them to try to straighten this out. What a way to run a business…

Good place to purchase herbs and spices, prices are reasonable. I bought some Tarragon and Chervil they go together very well. Also Barbere for Ethiopian food which is awesome. Chef Jeff
