This place is a gem. Its about 35 minutes away but well worth it for home brew supplies. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable can even have your order ready before you get there. Prices are good everything you need to sit back and enjoy a homebrew.

Great selection of ingredients and equipment, very knowledgeable and patient with questions from this novice. If youre short on time and just want to pick up a bottle of your favorite beverage, a great selection in that area as well! Ill be back-this proprietor understands the importance of great customer service!

This place is great. Their corner of craft beer is amazing and you can tell they take pride in how their store looks. And if you brew,they have everything you could need for very fair prices. I stop by to get grains or yeast at lunch. Highly recommended!

We’ve never made beer before and we were looking for a good starter kit. Unsure of what we needed, we called Tamarack and the representative, Dave, was extremely helpful by offering to put a kit together for us right away. He provided us with different options of what would want and need and offered a quick pick up time of ~ 2 days. Friendly and super helpful service! Great homebrew place with low prices. And an amazing stock of craft beer.

Review based only on the home brew supply part of the business. They seem to have a lot ingredients, but be wary of buying hops here. They open 1 lb packages of hops and mete them from there. They store them in plastic containers which do not block oxygen. The hops do not have any aroma and are brownish indicating that they have oxidized. This is not they way to store hops. Go somewhere else unless you can find an unopened package from them.

Be careful purchasing here. I bought a BSG beer ingredient kit here and when I got home found that a couple of the ingredients inside were past their expiration date. The store made good by replacing them, but 3 stars for having expired stuff on their shelf.
