After calling a few places about our garage and being quoted some crazy prices, we came across this gem. Half the price and very professional and polite. I had Corey come out today. He was very down to earth and friendly. He got the job done quickly and explained many things to me about what he was doing. Highly recommend this place and Corey for any garage work needed.

Our garage door spring broke on Sunday afternoon. We decided to ask our neighbors what company they used to repair theirs. They gave us the number to SafeWay Garage Doors, which is the first company we called.My husband decided to call Monday just before 8 am to try and get someone to come look at our door. Thinking that it would probably be a couple of days before we could actually get someone here, the owner of the company Phil called my husband right back and said he could have someone come between 12-2 pm the same day! The tech was at our home before the scheduled window of time, and was very knowledgeable and professional. We were very happy with the entire experience from beginning to end. My springs snapped, and thinking that I would have to spend a ton of money, maybe I could do it myself. After a little bit of research, I came across Safe Way Garage Doors, and decided to give them a call. Fast to answer and very friendly, Phil was extremely knowledgeable and helpful! I thought, this isnt happening today as most places are...was I wrong! They were able to come out that day, and get everything taken care of. Corey was so friendly, and a wealth of knowledge, no pressure, honest, and walked me through everything that was an option or required to get done. It was such a reasonable cost, and works GREAT! He even was able to squeeze in another appointment before his next appointment at my sisters house because her garage spring also snapped! I had a broken spring on a Saturday. Couldnt find anyone to repair it until Monday. Made an appointment with another garage door company for Mon between 8 and 12. Monday am early, Phil with Safe Way returned my message from the weekend. Apologized for not being able to answer the call on Saturday, but they could be out to fix my door in about 20 minutes. I said that would be great. I cancelled the appt with the other company.Kevin came out to repair the spring and I cannot say enough about how friendly, professional, and competent he was. He did not try to sell me anything I didnt need. In fact, he told me the door was in very good shape. I asked him if he would take a look at my other door and make sure it was ok and if he would grease it for me. He said absolutely. Took care of it and when I asked how much additional I owed, he told me nothing, it wasnt a problem and he said that door was also in good shape.This is the company to use for garage door repair!

Called after midnight and was treated very well by Phillip. There was a minor mix up with the time scheduled for my repair but it was fixed right away and the tech came round and fixed my door at a fair price very quickly. I highly recommend this company. We had a Wayne dalton spring on our garage door that stopped working. First I called precision garage door they wanted 200-400 more and was trying to push a new garage door too.when my door is perfectly fine. I called Safeway garage door. I pressed 1 for immediate attention and was connected to the owner of the company. I sent him some pictures and next day a guy came out and switch out our old spring for a the better traditional one. The worker wasn’t much of a talker but that’s not his job. He did his job with professionalism and speed. The door works better than it ever has and is 1000x quieter. I’m very happy with Safeway garage door and will keep them in my home book for all future work.

My garage door springs broke 2 days before Christmas. Called safe way at 5:30 pm and got a call from the owner within an hour. They were able to come out the next day on Christmas Eve. Great price and service. Tech handled everything and I was up in running before Christmas. Def would call them again.

Our door was doing the funky chicken up and down - but not all the way up or all the way down. Cory came, he checked our system over and found that the lazer was not aligned, he fixed it. When I called Safe Way Garage Doors and described my issue to Phil, I received very helpful information so I would be educated on what to expect when Corey came out. Corey came out the very same day and was professional, efficient and explained everything to me so I had a complete understanding of what he did and how to maintain my garage door in the future.

After a lightning strike took out my garage door opener I called Safeway and they came out the very same day. Corey was great! He not only installed a new opener, he replaced my spring and the rollers. He explained to me what he was doing at each step of the installation and there were no surprises when it came time to pay. Phil, the owner was more than eager to make sure I was happy with my I will be a repeat customer for sure!

The gentleman was very nice, but when he got here, my garage door magically worked without intervention from these guys. Now, mind you, I understand they came out for my issue and do feel they should have been compensated for something, but $75 bucks? I would have gladly paid him $30 or $40 without issue. I was charge for a service charge, but no service was done or needed, however, once he told me how much it was, I asked if he could oil my doors.The guy was very nice, which is why I am giving 3 stars. With that said, I would probably not use them again and it is sad because I am having the same issue again and they would have made more off me if they went a different route.

To make a long story short I had another dealer install two spring and three bearing on my garage door costing me $533. Thinking that the price was to high I still had it done because it’s a rental and I didn’t want it to be inconvenient to that person. I called safe way garage door and talked to the owner to get a price quote and he was kind enough to give me advise and a fair price. I called The other installer and to let them know the same job that they did would of cost $279 from Safe Way Garage Doors. I wind it up getting a refund for $254. Called another company to get a quote, got the run around and hung up. Called Safeway next and Phil called me back in 10 min. Sent photos of my broken spring and cracked door (smart idea, saved time and confusing blah, blah from me) and said both are repairable. Gave a two hour appointment window, yep two hours, and was appreciative of my time by showing up on time! Less than $375 and both issues resolved, as well as a great class on door safety, operation and maintenance. They offered some suggestions to make my door more quiet and being it back up to par, but didnt pressure when I said, not right now. They told me what to watch for before something goes. Totally up front, honest and professional! Cory and Phil, yall are awesome people and did a fantastic job! When you asked if anything could be better, I had to stop and think, thats when you knew my answer!

Arrived within an hour of calling. Repair was excellent and cost was very reasonable. Besides the repair he perfomed maintenance on all of the door parts and found numerous issues which he corrected.

We had springs replaced on our door after hurricane Irma broke them last year. The repair was done by one of the companies you see frequently advertising on TV. Recently we noticed noises that did not seem normal. We contacted Phil, and he was able to service us within a couple of days on a Saturday. He said that the springs that were installed just a few months ago were not the correct springs, so he installed the correct ones. Phil is very knowledgeable, courteous, and his price was far better than the other guy. We are very happy, and would not hesitate to recommend Safe Way.

Unfortunately I had both my springs break on my garage door as a result I ended up calling Safe Way. I started working with Phil he explained to me everything I needed to know and what likely needed to happen in order for it to be fixed he gave me a price and send out John to do the work. John came out was very respectful very knowledgeable recognize my garage door was a unique scenario and the Springs are not common Springs. They took it upon themselves to order new ones that had to be custom cut. Phil at Safeway Garage is a garage door wizard! I have a 40 year old garage door that had never had an opener. The engineering of the door made it virtually impossible. I had 2 other companies come out to see if it could be done and both told me it wasnt possible. Phil came out, took pictures and did some research. He called me a couple days later and said he had a solution. He was able to re-configure the pulley system and install an awesome Liftmaster opener system. I am thrilled!! What a fantastic experience!We had a torsion spring pop and I was going to fix it myself. I couldnt find the parts, called around to several companies and got lucky to speak with Phil at Safe Way. He talked to me extensively about it, and I decided it would be best to have him come out. That was a great decision.Their hours show until 5pm, but Phil came out after 6pm and was done by 7pm. Not only did he fix my springs, he pointed out and fixed some other bad problems from the initial install, from another company. Phil even went over some things I could change with the garage door opener that I did not optimally install. He didnt pressure me or try to upsale me anything. Phil just wanted to make sure that my garage door was working well.Overall, an excellent experience and I will definitely call Phil back if I have any issues in the future. I HIGHLY recommend Safe Way Garage Doors for any of your garage door installs or repairs.

You know, when a garage door spring breaks, its never at a good time. I know this because ours broke this past Saturday and my wifes car was stuck in the garage and she would need it for work on Monday. I called Safe way garage doors to set up an appointment for Monday. Well Phil (the owner) answers the phone all up beat and happy and I was thinking, yeah thats easy for you, your garage doors not broken but I believe he truly enjoys what he does. Well not only did I get an appointment, it was for just three hours later (on a Saturday!!) He didnt have the spring on the truck because our door is an 8 door instead of the more common 7 but they temporarily fixed the door where we could get the car out. Jonathan came out on Monday and had the new spring in in under an hour. Not only was the door fixed, it was quieter than ever. To my surprise they actually showed up when they said they would. The technician was courteous and professional. After explain my options for the repair and what I need, not trying to upsell, we agreed on the fix so that my door would be operational for a long time. Phil walked into a mess with my garage door and opener. Hanger brackets were pulling out of the ceiling, a guide roller was sitting on the floor and top panel of the garage door was hanging and had to be propped up with 2x4s. Even worse, the opener motor was binding. I know he entered thinking the job would be an 60-90 minutes. He spent 3 hours and didnt leave until everything was secure, aligned and working properly. He showed up on time and worked cleanly and was respectful to expensive items like my motorcycle.Costs: He quoted me over the phone between $150-$200 to do the repairs, site unseen. I know he worked double the time he expected so I expected double the cost. His total cost only about $50 higher than I expected. It was a FAIR price and I was delighted.My neighbor across the street had a local big name garage company come install a new opener, and by the time they got done, he paid almost $1000. They replaced every guide wheel, bracket, hanger bracket, springs and drums. If you want it done right at a reasonable price Safe Way is the way to go.By the way... I picked this company off Better Business Bureaus website. Theyve earned their excellent reputation. Youd be foolish if you didnt use Safe Way.

I was referred to Safeway from a friend of mine Dereck. I had a project on a small building we were putting up for Paintless Dent Repair, next to a recon spot in Auburndale, FL. I deal with lots of vendors day in and day out, and so often guys show up late and underdeliver. These guys are the real deal. They showed up on time (Which is huge for me and rarer than one might think), did what they said they would, and gave us a reasonable price. Fast forward eight months, I made a mistake and damaged one of the leafs. I called them up and they remembered me, got the part and installed it, within 5 days of the call. What else can you ask for?
