After going to 3 different bridal shops looking for a dress, I decided to stop here at Edwards-Macy. I was unaware that it was “by appointment.” Linda let me in even though I didn’t have an appointment. While there Linda was showing me a couple dresses and I happened to see one that had long sleeves, just like I wanted. When she took the dress off the shelf, I knew that was the one. So I made an appointment to come back the next day to look at the dress but as I got ready to leave Linda told me she would let me try the dress on while I was there anyways. I’m so glad she did! It was perfect, it was like it was made just for me. Needless to say I bought my dress!!! I can’t wait for my wedding day. Thank you Linda!!

Came here in need of a last minute dress and Linda was so sweet and helpful! She found the perfect dress so quickly, worked with me on the price, and I didn’t have to drive all the way out to Tampa. I bought a gorgeous banquet dress here a few years ago... very pleased that they are still the best in Lakeland. Love the variety of dresses to chose from.

I purchased my 5 year old daughters flower girl dress here and they had it sent even faster than expected. I loved the service so much I came back to buy my dress for the wedding as well. The ladies had a good eye and were kind to my children!

I went with my daughter to purchase her bridal shoes. She found a lovely pair at a great price. Even though we were just going for shoes we ended up finding my youngest daughter a bridesmaid dress for the wedding...also at a great price. Everyone was helpful and friendly and I plan on going back to purchase my dress!

They were super helpful and understanding! I love it when you can walk in and are greeted by a lovely smile, not to mention helping me find dresses that fit my awkward figure! I’m very conservative and don’t like showing skin but, they were very helpful. Very honest and kind homey people that made me feel very comfortable. 💓 Much love to Linda and Jenna for everything💓

This shop is AMAZING!! I really loved my experience, Maria helped me find the perfect dresses! I have my homecoming dance soon and when I came in they were very sweet and caring. They helped me find four BEAUTIFUL dresses and I would definitely recommend coming in!!

Walked past the store and saw a dress in the window I thought could be a potential bridesmaid dress. Walked in with my two sisters just to get an idea/color idea for bridesmaid dresses. I was not looking for a wedding dress or to buy bridesmaid dresses, just wanted to look around. We were stopped in the doorway and asked if I had an appointment which I didn’t because I just wanted to browse. The rude old lady told me they had just put the dress in the window and it couldn’t be tried on for two more weeks. Wouldn’t let me enter the store because I didn’t have an appointment. Told me not to purchase there because the store was for sale and quickly ushered us out of the door. I have bought prom dresses there in the past and have never had such a terrible experience. Will not be going back and I hope it sells to someone much friendlier with better staff. Also the cleanliness of the store is equal to a public restroom. Isn’t the point of putting a dress in the window so people will see it and come in to potentially buy it?

Wow! A great place! Gorgeous dresses and such nice people. I havent seen such committed, honest, and kind customer service in years.

Very rude would not recommend to no one and just seems like she doesn’t care about you or your feelings or your special day just trying to put you in anything and some of the dresses had a a yellow tint to them like old and when explaining I did not like what she was showing me she got more rude saying I had no other options and that I would be back to buy one of her dresses and automatically assumed I couldn’t afford anything else saying these was in my price range not asking my limit very upsetting experience for my first time buying dresses and the very first place I went to but in all I found my dress at the second store I went to for $2000 dollars and love it the people at the other store so sweet and friendly

Didnt even make it past the entry way. A few weeks ago my daughter and I made a special trip to Edwards-Macy so that I could look for a mother-of-the-groom dress for a March wedding. Once I told them why I was there, I was immediately asked if I knew what the brides mother was wearing. I shared that I was asked to go ahead and pick out my dress first by the bride and her mom. They quickly moved onto my daughter who shared she was a brides maid (we were NOT there for her dress). They asked if she knew the color and length which we shared. They said, we have nothing here for you, anything you would want would need to be special ordered. WELL, we were NOT there for my daughter. Sometimes listening to your potential customers helps. Needless to say we left and have no intent on returning...I would rather drive to Tampa at this point.

They were so helpful and I ended up getting exactly the dress I wanted for my daughter’s Quinceñera!!!! I couldn’t say enough about how great this shop was in helping me get what I need for her big day!

I went in very spectical and I found my dress the same day . Must check here first. Ms linda is very helpful and knows exactly what you would want. She is so patient and kind. I lost my father to cancer and did not know if I would be able to find the dress. The 3rd dress and it fit perfect. I was in tears.i knew it was the one instantly. Thank you Ms Linda and your staff for helping to make it very special. I would forever recommend MacyEdwards store first.

I just left Edwards-Macy Bridal in Lakeland and I cant say enough how EXCEPTIONAL of an experience we just encountered! We actually left with not 1 but 2(!!!!!!) Dresses because we were so satisfied. Let me say that even though we did not have an appointment Linda went above and beyond to help us and give us the personal attention, respect and help we would have expected at a top end salon in NYC.The prices were incredible, the staff beyond friendly and helpful and we jist cant race enough about them. I cant wait to go back for the wedding party dresses next! Do yourself a favor and visit, you will NOT be disappointed! I would give 1,000 stars if possible...thanks to ALL the staff!!!!!

Edwards-Macy has has been a huge presence in Lakeland since 1946 and I grew up knowing it is the place to go for gowns. So, when my granddaughter said she needed a dress for a formal wedding, we headed for downtown Lakeland. My granddaughter was thrilled with the selection and the fun environment for trying on the dresses.The one thing you cant get with internet shopping is trying on gowns and seeing them before purchase. We would recommend this shop to anyone who wants a quality shopping experience with easily accessible parking. Thanks Edwards-Macy for a long time relationship.

I would never recommend this store to anyone. Had a terrible experience with my best friend who was looking for a wedding dress. Please, if you are thinking about coming to this store, DON’T DO IT.

This place was one of the worst customer service experiences my fiancee has ever had to go through. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.The store was poorly maintained and dirty. The staff (which all still appear to be there according to recent reviews) were rude as soon as you step in the door, even if you have an appointment. They refused to listen to what type of dress my fiancee was there to find and instead told her to look at their catalog and find something. They had her attempt to try on 2 dresses, neither of which fit.As she was leaving they asked her if she liked them so that they could special order them. Their methods and their attitudes are on par with shady, predatory used cars salesmen.

Appointments ARE neded, staff doesnt know what theyre doing, also have to pay $55 consultant fee. Um... No thanks!

Was just pass and see this place I was desperate to get a dress for Friday and decided to go in, but they was a sign saying by appointment only, when the women come to the door she see how desperate I was, and take me in. they were very nice and friendly I came out with a purple dress that you cannot find anywhere I was so happy with my dress and the price, I love you allThanks
