Love the new remodel dont go here very often as you can tell but it was a pleasure to shop

Always nice here and some good deals sometimes. But theres NEVER enough cashiers during the day and it gets tiring having to wait for them to see lines forming and get someone to come open one.

I am super disappointed in the bakery! I ordered a cut out number cake thats 55. They called to tell me that the spray gun was broken so they had to do a border on the bottom. Thats fine. I said I could pick it up a little later if need be. I was told no it will be done 30 minutes after my original time. I said please dont rush. They said it will look great not to worry. I get there an hour after just in case and it was a hot mess. They added a top border and messed up swiggly lines in the middle. The 5s are uneven and they didnt even finish the whole border!! Bad part is the 5s are also lopsided. This is a $64 cake! They said they would give a discount off so it was $50 when I got there. The girl who did they cake didnt even care how messed up it was. She didnt even want a manger to come over to the bakery. I had to walk over to customer service because she didnt want to deal with it. The only reason I gave 2 stars was because the manger was very nice and ended up giving the cake to me for free. I am so disappointed.

We were in town visiting and went into Publix to get a few things. We wanted to make a particular mixed drink but didnt know what could be used as a economical substitution. Brendon was on the aisle and so helpful, polite and courteous. Needles to say the drink turned out great.

Publix doesnt accommodate its customers anymore, they are greedy, not the same as in the past, the almighty dollar is more important than their customers

I love my Publix. I shop there for almost everything. I would like to see the produce department expand. Ive also been disappointed in my cakes. We have lots of birthdays and my cakes have not been up to Publix standard but guess you cant have everything. Ill still continue to support my Publix favorite location.

This store is my favorite. Always someone near by to help. They will stop whatever their doing and walk you right to the item or items your looking for. Always with a smile. Wish I could give them 10 stars.

I was able to find everything I needed and anything I needed help with the employees were quick to help out. The cashier was quick and friendly.

Deli needs to pay more attention to there calls and the individual making the sub also needs to pay attention. 3rd time they got my sub wrong this time I got a dry a$$ sub, if I would’ve choked on that first bite we would have to go to court.

Besides shopping, I go here for the mojo pork from the deli - ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! You can get a large portion meal with two hefty sides and a Kings Hawaiian Bread roll (or fantastic corn bread when available) for just $6.99 plus tax. If you arrive at dinnertime and you cant find any mojo pork check the refrigerated section where you may find the last few portions from the day prepackaged.Two Lakeland Publix locations have dining rooms inside for your convenience, but this is not one of them. The two are: Lake Miriam Plaza on S. Florida Ave., and Plantation Square to the northeast on Socrum Loop Road.

I grew up going to this Publix and the remodel is so perfect. Well organized!!

Large newly remodeled store with lots of products and some more unusual items. Great deli with items like fried and roasted chickens and really great sub sandwiches.

Overall a nice store. There is a man thats hangs out everyday with his dog and takes it in the store. Not opposed to animals, just not in the grocery store unless its a service animal. Not a preference its law. The store overall is nice and clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. Daisy is a great cashier. I will stand in a longer line for Daisy. Shes is so nice I always leave happier than when I walked in.

Trying to get a flu shot at Publix. They should put signs up where to go first. After walking all the way to Pharmacy& being disabled then they told be to go to opposite end of store to fill out paperwork & then wait for Pharmacy to call you back. VERY UNORGANIZED.

I Love Publix.....my neighborhood store in town is Southgate. I was in the area stopped to get their store brand of Detergent....Free of dye, ingredients we dont need, forget the exact type......they had a huge bottle seniors cant manage. I asked and they said they arent carrying the smaller size now.I will check Southgateate soon.

I was really disappointed with the deli staff at this location. In the amount of time it took them to make one order I placed a 2 sub specialty order to pick up in Bartow. Over 30 minutes I waited for placing my order and leaving. Bartow had it ready as soon as I arrived.

Prices are higher then Kroger or Winn Dixie. Good variety though

Customer service manager needs customer service retraining. I was there yesterday and went to the customer service counter to purchase a ticket and I asked for a ticket and she yells i cant hear you. I was very embarrassed. First of all I had throat cancer surgery and cannot yell which is why I pointed to what I asked for secondly you should have said, excuse me didnt understand. As I handed her my money she asks is that it, like I bothered her or inconvenienced her. The lady behind me also commented that its not the first time shes been that short with customers. If she didnt want to be there on a Saturday then stay home, the worse thing you can do is come to work in a bad mood and if she wasnt in a bad mood and this is her natural self then please retrain her. I am at this PUBLIX everyday, literally, because I live 1 min from here.

Great new store and the pharmacy is the best. The pharmacy staff are great and really know what they are doing.

Was able to order a birthday cake for Sunday when Walmart doesnt have a cake decorator on Sundays.

Garry in the deli made our trip to this unfamiliar Publix amazing! While making our sandwiches he even got my daughter to try banana peppers and had us laughing while we waited.

This is, hands down, my favorite Publix. Its always clean and well-stocked. Lines during the lunch rush are usually a breeze. I cant talk about how excellent their deli is because Ill probably cry. Love you, guys!

Won’t be returning here. 3rd time in the row I had to wait 30 plus minutes for subs that were pre order an hour and a half before coming. This last time I never got my subs

Its my favorite Publix in the whole wide world.... True, the only alternative grocers in the immediate area are Harveys and Winn Dixie. Not exactly real competition and Publix, with no ill intention... or any intention at all, really, far and away surpasses these venues in every aspect. Even price when you look at cost/benefit, imo .This store has everything I need and purchase on a regular, weekly basis: (pre-made deli meals, savory chicken tarragon salad, freshly made meatball subway sandwiches, fresh croissants, over priced trendy Nitro coffee..chilled! And a tiramisu to rival Olive Gardens).1 - 4Besides carrying these specialty items, this Publix is the best due to the fact that: 1) its a newer store. 2) Its easy to get in and out of. 3) Theres always ample parking. Even if it seems there isnt....there is. 4) The store is large with wide aisles. It never see too crowded. .THE DELIExcept, except....the deli sandwich line. If you want a fresh hot or cold specialty sub (and you do bc they are delicious) dont go during peak lunch or dinner hours. Youll have to wait a bit if you do. Its worth the wait most times.5 - 75) The products Publix carries, ESPECIALLY, its own Publix brand, are exceptional. 6) The deli staff, actually ALL staff members of this Publix are beyond friendly and helpful. In a genuine way too....not just bc they have to be. 7) This store is beautifully set up, well stocked, with a great ambiance and environment.There are other Publixs and there are other grocery stores, this Grove Park location has all the competition beat, hands down, imo. And the best part... This store comes by this praise naturally. Theyre not gimmicky, shouting sales pitches, twirling signs or any flagrant advertising at all. Just people like you and I, showing up to work with a good attitude and portraying that in their actions and interactions with the customers. The people that run this Publix are obviously well prepared and ready for their job every day in order to keep operations running as smoothly as they do Basically its people taking pride in their job and it shows.Thank you Grove Park. Its super cool that you are all real 100! Be proud. You all can make a bad day turn good and you set a wonderful example for the community.P.S.As an added bonus, you can hit up CVS, Dollar Tree, that vitamin store, Amscot, Dominos, the Chinese place or Wendys while youre there. Its all in the same place. And its not even an ugly strip shopping center. It IS a strip shopping center but its not ugly.The parking lot flow pattern is a bit tricky so watch that.

The Publix at Grove Park Shopping Center in Lakeland FL has improved greatly over the last 4 years. It was an OK store to go to for a while, not necessarily being the best choice for grocery shopping but still a good one nonetheless, however, after its relatively recent (~2018) remodel, it has become a fantastic store with fantastic employees.The managers at Publix do an excellent job upholding company policy by providing shoppers with a great shopping experience, and the standard employees also do the same. I have a friend who works with Publix, and he says that while it is a lot of work, it is one of the best jobs he has ever had.As a shopper, the prices are decent, not necessarily Walmart cheap, but certainly not expensive, and this stores condition is definitely good. The floors and Isles are clean, as well as the bathrooms, and the shelves are stocked quite often, making the browsing experience simple as well. The shopping carts are nearly always full in the store, and the parking lot is clean and relatively orderly most of the time, thanks to the remodel.This Publix is certainly one Id recommend, as well as the one at Lake Miriam Square.

The deli does not wipe down their machines after cutting their meats. This happens when they are busy in the evening and are cutting meat for sandwiches and for the deli. It is gross to see ham juice on the slicer and then turkey being sliced in the same juice.

Went there to get tag from the DMV kiosk inside the Oak Park Publix in Lakeland. There were no lines, convenient and very easy to use, considering Im a senior citizen. I only wish there was a North Lakeland location. It was a bit of a drive.
