Nice clean store. Well stocked. But Needs more registers opened...

Best shop n stop in area. Fresh deli, take n go selection awesome. Like fried chicken, wings, subs, n more for a fast and easy lunch or dinner. Bakery selection very good too.

As far as supermarkets go we have a lot of choice in the area. Of the options around here I prefer this one. Service is decent, though not often needed, but the organization, selection, and frequent sales make it a good option for day-to-day grocery shopping. They also have a recycling area for bottles, and pharmacy making it useful in that regard.

I have never been here it was my first time and I asked two different women where I can find something. I received an attitude and told the department it was in instead of being told how to get to that department. Absolutely never coming back!!

This place is huge, must have a footprint the same size as a WalMart/A Superstore; Brand New, clean, has a Marty! Very impressed with this Stop N Shop location.

I cant stand stop and shop. Usually theyre so crowded and staffed with people who dont seem to care. Except this one. Good staff, well stocked and organized. Clean. On its busiest days, its not headache to check out of.

This store has gone through a few positive changes over the ten years I have been shopping here.The last year has been a bit rough on all stores but this location has stayed strong for the most part.The selection is vast and the store stays well stocked for such a busy location.

Immaculate restrooms, I was just reading complaint s about hotels lack of cleanisness, and I come here. People, appreciate the effort that they put forth keeping the bathroom immaculate.

Every single time I buy food from this stop and shop it’s either bad or expired. I made a salad for myself to bring to work and cut up the romaine from their brand. I look in my salad before I eat it at work and there’s DIRT on the lettuce. Maybe who ever is packaging the lettuce is not cleaning it thoroughly but this has happened on occasion with other merchandise from this location.

Ronkonkoma Stop and Shop is my local store. Customer service is great and produce is fresh.

This Stop n Shop always has what I’m looking for. The employees are efficient and friendly. I live a couple of towns over, but I will shop at this location to mix it up a bit.

The Lake Ronkonkoma Stop and Shop is the only supermarket I will shop at! The renovation is exquisite. The store is always clean and well stocked with clear up to date signage. The employees are nice. Pricing is very fair, I always do well here in terms of quality and savings.

This store is huge and fully stocked. Just wish they organized there gluten free stuff better and had more selection like shoprite

I moved to Ronkonkoma this past Fall with my aging parent. I find this store to be sparkling clean, well-lit & with reasonable prices and plenty of room for the battery-operated carts to turn in the aisles & handicapped checkouts. I could spend hours in this store and never get bored. (Haha yes, I don’t get out much) Anyway, last night I lost all track of time and although many announcements were made to let shoppers know the store would be closing, I must have had selective hearing! The woman at the register, Sue was very surprised to see me roll up to check out but she was kind and didn’t complain. A young man named Tom helped pack the groceries and even went and got 2 cases of bottled water for me, too. Thank you guys!

Great store, i live in Central Islip and drive past the store in Islandia to shop at the Ronkonkoma location on Portion rd. The store is clean,the employees are friendly. The put up and take down the signs on sale items, unlike the Islandia branch that never take down the signs and theres always a problem when paying.

This was my time in what I call a half-and-half store. It. Was quite interesting. Shelves were decently stocked. Then, theres the downsides. The store is NOT enforcing people wear masks in their store; I saw at least 3 people without them. Also, they are not enforcing the one-way aisles. Yes, there are arrows on the floor but the employees arent telling people who are going in the wrong direction what theyre doing.

Employees & Customer Service Are Rude Had several issues with them since Ive been shopping at this location. Products are not worth buying from this location to get your moneys worth for the same exact item or better visit another store Like ALDI Trader Joes Bjs Or Costco.

Newly remodeled with new salad bar, full hot buffet with make your taco/burrito open, in store smoked brisket, burnt ends, ribs, pulled pork and a made to order stir fry station. Very cool. Full coffee and smoothie offering and a sit down cafe seating area.Seafood on ice.Great service in Meat dept.Stop in for lunch!

Stop and Shop is my favorite grocery store. And with the extensive remodeling of the store it is better than ever. The store is neat, clean and played out very clearly. The associates are polite and helpful. Everything is run very efficiently. The prices are competitive and the sales are excellent! I really enjoy shopping there better than any grocery store on Long Island.

My daughter and I visit very often, the food is always fresh, the staff are wonderful! Prices are unbelievable . The feeling when you first walk through the door is warmth of knowing your welcomed! Arrangement, of isles, clean,visits from Marty the robot always there to greet you with a smile! The new cafe, overall the best place to shop, so much more than a supermarket....they are family!

We really enjoy this store.

We shop in person all the time. Other than the Covid issues causing some items not available, Stop and Shop is our store.That said, we ordered pickup for the first time after a rough week with no power. Missing 3 items which we paid for, no alternate items offered for replacement of things left off due to not having. Now on hold for 20 minutes with customer service. Hence the reason for 2 stars.

Clean, bright and well stocked. It was amusing seeing the cleaning robot with a mask taped to it.

I mean its a grocery store. Its clean has a really good selection and I like the self scanner guns they have there. Being able to scan your items and bag as you go is a real time saver. Just scan the barcode on the gun when you check out and youre already bagged up and ready to pay.

This stop and shop has a bigger selection than the others that i have been in shelves are fill too top and organized

Why arent out of stock items noted on the website? Im aware you offer substitutions but cant an item be noted out of stock when placing my order? It feels like bait and switch.

The store looks great. Everything has its own section and varieties to look through. I really appreciate how clean the store looks. Very good experience for me.

While shopping, I cut my hand on a glass bottle of thyme that I accidentally broke. When I realized I was bleeding and needed to wipe my hands, the woman at the seafood market immediately came to my rescue and bandaged me up. She was very sweet and kind. Wish I got her name, it is not so common these days for that kind of service. Thank you!!!

Beautiful store and today was their grand opening or reopening. I love the cafe coffee is really good, Im very surprised they dont have sushi oh, and I was kind of ticked off when I got home only to find out that a couple of the items I purchased were not in my bags. The cashier didnt call to me that I forgot something and I hadnt left the store right away because I stopped to buy coffee . So Im going to have to go back.

I will never shop here again . Their ice cream are like a brick of ice when I reach home it’s takes an hour to defrost . In April I bought a lamb shank for Easter, it was rancid and a few of my family members ended up getting sick . I called the meat department and no one picked up the phone . the managers are nastier then the cashiers . I have had multiple inconveniences with this place. Not to mention their abusive to their workers and minors. I’ve heard a few unbelievable stories and met a few people. Union doesn’t step in for the abuse and defends management in the end. Yeah they redid their store but where’s the revision on how to treat people with respect especially minor workers . Again I will not shop here again due to my experiences and the experiences I’ve heard from 20 other people .

This store was recently redesigned. The aisles are more spacious, giving a better view of the products and customers can go through easerly. They also put a cafe where you can seat, relax and have a bite along with your friends.

Deli workers and cashiers are friendly, like the new layout . I shop at 7:00 am on Sundays to avoid crowds. If I get there any later there are two employees at the deli to help all the people waiting. There should really be more as now they have the kiosk and online orders to do as well. When I go at 7:00 there is one cashier that deals with checkout, self checkout (which is constantly having issues), and customer service. Today I went around 7:30 on a Monday and waited at customer service for two to three minutes behind someone and then when it was my turn was told we open at 8:00. So for the entire time I was standing there, the person at customer service as well as the three other employees on registers, couldnt let me know that? And if youre not open until 8:00, why was that person in front of me being helped at 7:45? Store is apparently open at 6:00 this morning. So for two hours there is no one to help at customer service? Maybe they should have skipped the coffee bar and invested in some human being cashiers and customer service people.

The kids in the deli play to much when curving ppls cold cuts. Some dont use gloves. I noticed. But other then that its a great place to shop...

Go here instead my local Stop & Shop in Sayville which I live a half mile away south. Its not just the store its the people. The managers/workers all share tasks and have better attitudes and get it done. Obviously travelling 18 miles round trip should be a true testimony indeed. Anyway just to add I always liked Ronkonkoma and their community.

Im sick of buying ice cream that has iced over a couple of times only to melt and refreeze.Not good. The money I gave them is fine though.Theres plenty of good points there .like the people but methods are subpar.Many food issues over time.

Still under construction, but clean and organized as they go. Should look great when its done. Wish the isle signs were facing the other way, so as you walk past the isle, you can read them. Currently you have to turn down isle to read signs, causing people to hesitate at the front of each isle. The self check out is 100% better than before. Very nice improvement.

I love them!! Good selection and you can always fine good deals. Staff is helpful and produce is fresh. Parking lot is never full. Cool Kids working the registers.

Very convenient location with ample parking and a wide variety of products. Meats and seafood section are always stocked well. The employees are very helpful and always are able to provide an answer to questions or direct you to someone who can. The bakery is full of delicious goodies and there are frequent sales on commonly purchased items.

Constantly out of basics. Theres a shortage of jelly, jams, and preserves? Terrible.

Black guy with the hoop earring working the seafood section was the worst. Dropped my lobster on the floor and proceeded to give me the same one and didn’t rinse it off, had a attitude the whole time, didn’t speak, lied about nothing have clams. I don’t know how he was hired

No stock on the items I wanted

The new hot food area, food is horrible.Food has Been sitting there forever, low standards I guess. The wings you cannot even eat they are so dried out. And the food is always the same nothing new. Horrible.

Good local store

This store had a recent complete make over with a new configuration. I think it makes the shopping a big store a little easier

Couple of nice employees but the managers arent anything to brag about. They should be setting the example but as you walk by them they barely even look at you. And the remodel that is taking forever is horrible, shelves have less stock on them now and everything feels smaller and aisles seem narrower.

Horrible store. I stopped buying majority of my groceries here a month or 2 ago when I realized they were way overpriced compared to other stores, however I would continue to buy baby formula here for my daughter from time to time although it is cheaper everywhere also, only because this store is so close to me, making it convenient. Tonight I was in a rush to get formula so I stopped in, and I don’t know if it was an error in their machines or if they are just crooks but the price for the same EXACT can of baby formula I bought here 2 weeks ago for $19.99, ( which is overpriced still, everywhere else is $18.00) is now priced at $23.95! I asked the woman if she could check because I had just bought the same can here 2 weeks ago for cheaper but she had no interest in helping me, she just tried to compare it to different brands/size cans to justify the price and gave me an attitude. It was clear she didn’t want to actually help me so I just paid for it and left but that will be my last time here. The fact that they are taking advantage of a necessity for infants and toddlers by hiking prices is disgusting.

No change in that today. Overall good selection and prices. We use Peapod delivery by Stop and Shop, which IS Fantastic!!

Love this Store ! Clean & has mostly everything you need.

They are currently under construction (march 2019) so the place is a disaster with carts of food and such shoved where ever. Normally they are clean and well laid out. The staff is generally nice, although there is some in the early morning on the front end that are clearly not retail lovers.

They have a great beer selection.....

I believe its actually a Giant store operated by different name up in New York and ither States. Nice and expansive store . A western Union in there too. Good thing that they started to sell Arabica brand imported coffees like Lavazza and others Pricey ! but some things are hard to find and worth it while if you got time you can get same for much cheaper price at Amazon.

Running out of basic items even though things are steady right now

The store is clean and well stocked. We shopped for Easter flowers and found some great deals in the floral department. Usually find the store well stocked and easy to shop.

The place is well organized and very clean. You feel yourself so confortable shoping here. The bakery products are awesome.

One of the only Supermarkets that carry my dogs food: NewmansOrganic, canned and dry food and snacks.It is very hard to find and the price is better than ordering from aPet Food company with their 20% coupon.Food Town also carries it but each can is $1.00 more and the bag ofDry food is $5.00 more.Excellent food for dogs with digestion problems and allergies.All profits go to charity.

Excellent place. The prices were good, and the quality and selection were good. The store had over 26 aisles, each was longer than the aisles at a standard stop n shop. Great looking store inside and out.

Good deals but this store is dirty. the gourmet cheese section has baskets in the display that are covered with mold and have been like that for over a month. the specialty shopping carts for kids are all broken, missing steering wheels and the buckles are broken. for the amount of money we all spend on groceries here, S&S needs to cleanup their act.

Not bad still missing some items

They sold me a rancid chicken. The woman who was stocking the fridge told me that it was fine and the expiration date hadnt yet passed (which was true, however the chicken was undeniably rotten.) When I tried to return it they wouldnt give me a refund, so I asked for the manager who told me that he wouldnt give me a refund but he would happily throw it in the trash for me. Thanks. Terribly unprofessional and I would recommend avoiding this location at all costs.(EDIT: I have just submitted a complaint through the link provided. Well see how that goes)(EDIT: They sure are taking quite a bit of time getting back to me. I thought that My comfort and safety are [their] top priority. Three days doesnt seem like top priority!)
