I am new to the area. I am very leery I’m just letting any shop work on my car. However I had an issue come up and I had no choice but to search the Internet for a garage. What a pleasant surprise that North Palm Japanese Auto Care was The first choice that came up. After reading the reviews I decided to give Paul and his crew a shot. I was trying to sort out a problem that I was having. Paul and I agreed on a Possible solution to the problem. The repairs were done. However, it did not solve the problem. So I brought the car back and Paul told me that they would do some further diagnostics and road tests to see if we could figure out what the issue was. At the end of the day I called Paul and he told me that they had figured out what the problem was. He believed it was a transmission issue.He referred me to Vics Transmission shop. I thanked Paul and asked him what I owed him for all the diagnostic work. He said “no charge, come grab your car”Wow, was I surprised.He was right on with the transmission diagnosis. It turned out to be a simple fix and a great relief to me.I will recommend these guys to everyone. Thank you Paul, you guys rock!

Excellent people !! Excellent mechanics !! Paul is wonderful. After initially using these folks to replace my Honda Civic timing belt and AC Compressor I was convinced that they are the best in the area. Since then Ive used NPJA for more repairs including a fan blower motor, valve cover gasket replacement, radiator and hoses replacement, etc. I have never had to bring my car back to these folks because they always fix it right the first time. The quality of the parts they use are excellent like Gates Hoses and Denso radiators. These people are honest and their prices are very reasonable.

Best place to take your vehicle for repairs. Paul and his brother are the most honest sincere guys and I recommend them to everyone. You know when you bring your car here they will not rip you off, they will not recommend unnecessary repairs and will give you a fair price.

I bought a classic Japanese car which I brought to North Palm Japanese Auto to have a mechanical inspection prior to driving it 1500 miles. They inspected the whole car, replaced two critical, worn cooling system components, and gave me a to-do list for when I made it home, for things that could wait. This is exactly what I needed, and for a fair price. I made the road trip home safely, and with no issues. They were professional, excellent communicators, and took great care of my new machine. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Awesome experience.

Started having issues with my 1988 Toyota. This car is my weekend car what my wife calls “my baby”. I spent a couple months stressing on who I would trust with “her “ !! I knew I would need a place where I can actually talk to the owners and someone who would understand rediclious relationship with what others call a “Unicorn “. After two interviews LOL. One with Paul and one with Mark I finally brought my car in. Let me tell you they were fantastic. They kept in touch with me over the week. Brought my car inside each night. Diagnosed the problem and made other recommendations. The problem was fixed and priced very fair. Highly recommended!!!! I will be back !!!

I always receive excellent work, honest advice, and a fair price when I need to bring my car here. A dealership tried to charge me mega bucks to fix things that did not need fixed, and NPB Japanese automotive showed me in detail that these items did not need fixed, super glad I got a second opinion from them.

Update - 2021-06-07I had written a review several years ago strictly based on a phone call with Marc. Being the car wasnt my daily driver anymore I held off a long time on some much needed maintenance. Finally took the time to get it into NPJA. Once again, Marc and Paul did not disappoint. Extremely pleasant to speak with. Took the time to talk with me, schedule my time slot. Didnt feel rushed at all. Since I was dropping truck with them, I was not in a rush. Truck is going on a long trip in July, wanted it inspected front to back and have them give me a list of Must do to It can wait items.Paul was fantastic. They did exactly what i asked of them, went thru my truck as if they were prepping for a long trip with it. Ive driven the vehicle quiet a bit since getting it back at end of May, more or less to see if I felt anything different. Truck has been running great and I feel confident it will be fine on the the long trip. Marc and Paul are honest, do the job they say they will do and dont try to get you to do something that isnt needed. IE, had them check my brakes. Stated I had 35% pad left and I should be fine for another several month to a year given the driving. I explained, the truck will be in the mountains of NC for a month, Ill burn thru that before its time to leave even letting trans slow me down. So I pulled the trigger on replacing the brakes now. Any other shop would have said, no need to do it immeditely this truck is dangerous on the road. On top of all the above, their pricing is excellent.Thanks Marc and Paul. Our Mazda Mx5 and my truck will be in your hands for now on for any repairs.So I had to go into the Stealership today for airbag recall on my 06 Tundra. Once they were done, they informed me that during their MultiPoint Inspection they noticed my water pump has a slight leak. I ask them to quote the job, hope youre seated. $1800. Basically it is because the water pump runs off the timing belt. I almost fell over, what happened to water pumps running off a pulley to the serpentine belt. Anyway, I said thank you and walked out.I decided to make a few phone calls. I came across North Palm Japanese AutoCare. Now I have not had any work done yet. I spoke with Mark. Very personable. He gave me a quote that I was overjoyed with. I was so pleased with our conversation, and havent had any work even done yet, I had to write a review. He was honest, upfront and to the point. Ill definitely be scheduling my truck to be repaired here, even though I live out West on Southern. Ill write another review once I have all the work done. Sounds like I finally found an honest shop that I can take my truck into..By the way, the quote was for all TOYOTA parts too.5 stars just on Marks customer relations and taking the time out of his day to speak at length with me about the repairs..
