I first found tobacco barn in the early 90s. Jim was one of the best people a person could met. I considered him as my friend and he is greatly missed. My last visit there was one of memory and awe. I could feel the same warmth and welcome as i did when i first opened the door and walked in. His legacy lives on. There arent enough stars in the world to rate this place. tobacco barn is a place you must visit even to just look around. Thank you jacobAnd jim my friend.. Rip

What an awesome shop. They have a great lounge area, which is perfect for hanging out and trying out your purchases. They also have a really friendly, helpful staff. They helped me pick out some killer recommendations for my fathers birthday, and hes loved them all. Just the smell in there is better than most cigar shops! Go, youll love it.

Quality. I bought from here 2 years ago and moved shortly after. I have yet to fine a shop anywhere close to as good as this place.

Large selection of cigars. Nice members lounge area broken into two rooms which you can gain day access to by spending $20. One is smaller and more intimate and the other is much larger with TVs, recliners, card tables, etc. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I will be be back.

The Single Best Cigar and Pipe store in the world. And the BEST smoking room. It starts at the top with the owner and the previous owner, and the great attitude trickles down to everyone and infects the guests. :)

Lets get a few things straight. Not all Tobacco shops are the same. Most carry cigars and few pipes, some have a very healthy amount of tins, tobaccos, estate and new pipes selection, but sadly most have a hundred boxes of various Dominican blends and cigarettes. To me you have to have it all, a hundred tins of various blends, at least that in new pipes, half that in cleaned estate pipes, a few hundred boxes of cigars, a walk in humidor, and a place to lounge, but cigarettes are nice to have. Snuff and snus are key as well and Tobacco barn is south countys premier tobacco shop because the lounge is exclusive, the whole place is humidified, dozens of house blends and almost everything tobacco. Im hesitant to say, but I did not see snuff tins or pounches. The people who work there are great, just enthusiasts, not just some old cigar smoker who only carries pipes because he has to, but rather these guys are all about everything nicotine, like me. I still feel more at home at Liberty, Racine or Captain Hunts in San Diego, but they are my club and I just work in the area and stop by. I havent joined an Orange County Pipe club yet. Who knows I may be a part of both with my commute.

Love this place. Only two visits yet they have the best tasting tobacco Ive ever had, has very fair prices but also is as high class as it gets, yet they are so genuine and unconceded.I visited a while back greeted by the most amazing smell of fine tobacco but was only seeking electronic cigarettes as it was the closest place listed near me at the time. Went in to find it to be the exact opposite. Its a HIGH-class, fine-product-only, tobacco store that sells the best pipe Tobacco Ive ever had. Cigars I havent tried. I went inside and cool tell I was a bit out of place as this place is fancy, but instead of being jerks, the clerk was way cool and told me where the nearest smoke shop is that sells them. He even gave me directions.The nice attitude and wonderful smell lead me to buy an ounce of pipe tobacco. The man recommended the finest stuff Id ever had. It was I think only $6.2 for the OZ, This particular one was called Treasure Chest and I highly recommend it. Keep in mind this isnt nasty cigarette tobacco and only for pipes. Its almost a bit moist and roll into a cigarette. My friend that smokes home-rolled ran out but had papers and asked to roll one and laughed as the paper went up in flame practically but the tobacco didnt burn. Im sure you can dry it out or if you want to smoke nasty ass tasting cigarettes from huge corporations that is dry and stale by all means continue but I dont think this is the store for that. Nor do they sell cigarettes Im almost positive, which is really nice to see.That price is so low to me considering the quality difference. Regular tobacco Id bought throughout the years including pipe specific was like folders instant coffee compared to the finest cup brewed from the best beans yet the price is only a few bucks more.It has the taste of no other and is so smooth. I still have at least half the bag months later. Its helped me stay off cigarettes yet I dont even smoke everyday. I dont feel like a need it. For those that have failed quitting I think smoking high quality tobacco like theres is worth trying.I returned again to get a wood pipe, and this time it was a new clerk that was also as welcoming and friendly even though the customers were all rich and dressed in suits and stuff. This guy Im almost sure was the owner or the highest up manager yet still was awesome and didnt try to sell me some super expensive pipe.He asked for what I wanted, and told me (as he was smoking on a cheap pipe himself.) that the cornpop pipes are just as good for almost all pipe smokers including himself. He showed me about the filter and said they sell them for when it turns black, but he said that he just takes it out at that point and its not necessary.He knew I was ignorant, yet chose to sell me what I asked for, didnt try to con me, and both clerks even helped me in situations where it actually makes them lose business but helps me. Thats why I returned and if I make my goal of just smoking once in a while which Im getting closer and closer too, these guys will continue to be my place.The Tobacco Barn is the most high class place Id been inside or seen yet the exact opposite of what I expected it to be, which is a pretentious attitude towards a young person coming in asking for electronic cigarettes at such a classy store.
