The whole experience was wonderful. They listened to what I needed - a fob and key for a 2011 Buick Lucerne. They gave me a price - less than the dealer was going to charge - and they could do it in about 15 minutes. The dealer told me it might take hours for them to calibrate the fob. I gave him the key and the fob and sure enough, it was done quickly and easily. While we were waiting, we spotted some items in the store that were on sale and we could use them. We walked out with what we came for and a few other items that brightened our day. I am so happy my husband noticed a sign in the window that said fobs. I would never have dreamed that we could get so much accomplished with the help of a charming young man and so quickly.

The sale person was VERY helpful with the hurricane season coming up he said dont forget the batteries.

They locked us out of our car and said it was our fault.We ordered a new key with FOB for our Nissan when we saw they offered these services here. It took a little over a week and we got the call to come in so they can program the key for us. After Greg, the employee came out he saw the key he just cut was not working in the door. He took it back inside saying it felt “stuck”. Then he came back out and tried again. Nothing, and when we would open the door the alarm would go off. He then tried with our original manual key and it was now no longer working and was setting the alarm off as well. Greg then sat in the passenger side and tried both keys (new with FOB and original) in the ignition and they both worked there. Just neither with the door. He programmed them while inside the car with a computer but neither were working in the car doors now. Just the ignition. Once Greg was done, I called the Nissan dealership and asked what was going on. They stated that it was not programmed correctly and something happened with some anti theft system. It was going to be $135 to correct it. We called the batteries and bulbs store (same night) to tell them the issue and asked if they could try and reprogram them properly. The girl that was working Batteries and Bulbs that night (3/5/21) told me she doesn’t “know what the hell happened” and that her manager would be there at open. I drove back in the morning and the manager told us the same run around. That they didn’t “do anything with the original key and we programs hundreds of these cars”. He, the manager Craig, went out to look at our Nissan and told us the check engine light was on and the door wasn’t working because of “wear and tear”. We let him know it just needed to be programmed correctly and it was some anti theft system in the door that was set off from them not properly installing the keys. He told us that because the ignition worked there was nothing he could do and the doors wasn’t their fault. We were refunded, but then had to go to a Nissan dealership and pay $135 for them to fix the damage that Batteries and Bulbs caused.** update. The Nissan dealership told us that they couldn’t just reprogram the key. They said it was the cylinder for the door lock was damaged due to the new key not being cut properly and breaking the cylinder. It was $350 to fix. I called Batteries and Bulbs and put them on speaker so the Nissan service center could explain to them that it was in fact the key not being cut properly that caused this issue. The manager, Craig argued both to the Nissan mechanic and I that “it has never happened before” when clearly it just did and wouldn’t accept what we were telling him happened.Do not get FOBs from this place, they don’t know what they’re doing and that’s expensive.

They couldnt program my FOB. Then I was forwarded to a locksmith that couldnt program the FOB. Then I left an ATV battery to be checked. I was called the next day and was told that it was bad. I came to the store and paid $89.99 excluding tax and environmental fees for a battery for the ATV. On the way out of the backroom, Matt dropped the battery on the floor and said it was good no leaks. When I got home and took the battery out of the front seat floor I saw something on the floor where the battery had sat. I put my finger in it and all I can smell was sulfuric acid that leaked out of the battery which has now ruined my carpet in the front passenger side. NOT HAPPY AT THIS TIME!! So now I have to go back to the store and get another $89.99 battery. So more wasting of my time now because I have to go back and get another one. I have to drive 25 minutes there and then 25 minutes back home and whatever time I have to use to speak to the store manager and to get my carpet replaced at their cost. They had only 1 guy working the store and there was 3 customers in the store. I was #2 and waited 15 mins before he could get to me.

They are always helpful and polite. As a bonus, they always seem to have the answer to my questions, and at a surprisingly low price!

I went to batteries+ Bulbs to get a replacement battery for a battery backup we use for our computers at work. The staff recommended a new backup unit for less than the price of replacing a battery for an older one. I was very impressed with their knowledge and how professional and courteous they were.

The store personnel were extremely helpful in resolving my concerns with batteries, the ones purchased went bad prior to the warranty period and the staff promptly tested and exchanged my batteries allowing me to go on about my work.
