I’m so disappointed with this whole experience. Prices are good but nothing else has gone right. I started this whole process in December and it’s now June and I’m still not in my home. Their lenders are so delayed in every step of the loan process. Their movers messed up the placement. Their AC guys just setup on the ground even though it needs to be on a stand. Every contractor they have has delayed us from day to day, and not just for weather. They’re trying to juggle jobs and do a little bit today and come back later because they have too many obligations. Johnny is our dealer and he’s good, just too busy. I thought this was supposed to be an easy ordeal because a mobile home is a complete package but it’s been so stressful the whole time.
Great experience buying a new trailer from them after Laura. They took care of everything quickly even though they are completely swamped after the storms. My trailer had some damage when it arrived on their lot, but they arranged for it to be repaired by the manufacturer, and it was. Included setup, steps, skirting, and AC install all went great, and they were ready to go before we could get beci to turn the lights on! Sales lady Belinda and everyone else I talked to was great and wanted to help me get setup quick! They also had some of the best prices we could find, way better than any of the clayton dealers!
Johnny Guillory is awesome! Sweet and friendly group helping us find our beautiful dream home!

Mr. Guillory was great. Helped us with everything we needed.
Awesome people and an awesome place..
Everything even remotely related to your home will only come with a one year manufacturers warranty, meaning that you can go and buy a brand new car and the warranty will last longer than anything in your home. That you live in. Long-term.After Hurricane Harvey we had numerous ceiling leaks and hired a contractor to investigate. The roof was constructed with 1/4 plywood on the roof, tar paper that was as thin as printer paper, and shingles that crumbled to the touch. To make matters worse they never installed a ridge cap and the vents werent installed correctly, creating leaks and preventing air flow. The estimated cost for him to work on it was something like $6,000.Combine that with the water heater and central AC which both completely failed, and were looking at something like $10,000 just to go back to living comfortably, let alone prosperously. All this in less than a decade.DO NOT buy a home from this place unless you are comfortable with the idea of putting thousands of dollars of repairs into your home in as little as five years. At which point, you could probably put a down payment on a legitimate home that wont fall apart the minute the warranty expires.
The entire experience has been an absolutely nightmare. First, before buying the home I was promised the world from the salesman Johnny. I was fair and didn’t even negotiate on the price. Was told skirting and everything would be provided. After waiting close to two months after the house was setup, I received a call from Jim. Stating that they were not going to provide skirting, “We have an 800 dollar allowance, you can find your own contractor to install the skirting or you can do it yourself.” Which was upwards of 2200 dollars given the home height. This news came to me last minute. Now at this point the park is starting to ask me when I’m getting the skirting put on the home. So unfortunately I had to hire an attorney for breach of contract which they obliged of course. My guess is this is not the first time this company has done this to people. So I’m currently in suit with this place. I would not recommend anyone to buy a home here.As far as servicing the home. That’s a whole different beast in itself. Created a list of issues we’ve had with the home and things that need to be fixed. When they received the list they took half of what I had in the list and sent it to a company named beau-cal. Beau-cal tells me that they can only fix what’s in the work order. So if you want only half of your problems to be addressed, this is your place! Mind you, one of the things in the list is missing shingles off an entire side of the home and this was one of the issues they did not send to Beau-cal.It’s gone as far as a completely different mobile home sales company in Jasper Tx stepping in to light a fire under these guys to get my issues addressed. Todd Macdonald with Macdonald mobile homes said he would even send his serviceman from Texas to fix these items. That’s pretty sad.All in all. By far the worst experience I’ve had with any new purchase. Do not do business with these people. They pride themselves with being around for 50 years and its fair to say that the people running it now are running it into the ground. STAY CLEAR
I give this place 1 star not because of the sales experience but because of the service. My buying experience was top notch there are two salespeople there and they are a real class act, they did everything they could to make buying a mobile home seamless for us and it was a great experience. However, I have had two problems and had to call the service person for assistance. The first time they called back and said someone would be there and the went ghost on me coincidentally my warranty ran out in the two weeks I waited for service. Recently the problem was with my A/C again I am being ghosted. The air conditioner tech they have currently gave me a complete BS story and when I called the manufacturer (Stylecrest) they verified that the repair person Southwest is using is incorrect about his assumptions. I will advise anyone I know not to purchase from this place simply because of the experience after the sale.
