Good Guy Alert: Joe Tyson.I was traveling from Oregon to Tennessee, taking the long way round. Although I did not buy from them I have to comment on the integrity & kindness of their employee.Unfortunately my transmission went out while towing much of my most expensive personal items. I was stuck on the side of the road near Sulfur, La. Through a few contacts I had from the USMC, although he is not a vet himself, Joesph came to my assistance. He possesses many of the qualities I’ve found in my fellow Marines.Where my “Road Side Insurance” failed, Joe stepped up. This guy hooked up & stored my trailer of custom Harley-Davidson’s, & was the most gracious of hosts. He & his family went above and beyond to ensure my well-being throughout the process of having my truck serviced. I cannot thank them enough, hopefully one day I can pay it forward. Although my mechanical failure was a set back I am very grateful for the chance opportunity to meet this man.I would highly recommend dealing with this man. Joe Tyson was really helpful. He helped me find my first official car and he wasn’t a slime ball that just wanted my money like most car dealers . He prevented me from trading in my car which is great because I sold it in less than a day for 7 times the amount I would’ve gotten if I traded it. Really helpful guy not like most car dealers, walked me through every thing and made sure I was comfortable with my decision. Walked in hoping to get a car and he made it happen. Billy Navarre in general is a nightmare to deal with!! We have the tire insurance and brought our tire in and they wanted to argue with us about the process. The lady at the desk in the service department at the quick lube is rude and likes to argue, even with the people from the tire insurance company!

The car wash was very good.
We went for our 2500 miles first service foe our hyundai. For anew car and first service we shouldnt have to wait 2 hours. Either make it appointmnet based or provide a seperate line for new cars. Plus they ask us what do you need to fix? There should be a routine standard service job and checks for the first 4500 that is advised by hyundai.It wasnt a pleasant experience for someone owning a new car.
Salesperson Quincy Broussard was an excellent salesman. He put me inside a car i love & was comfortable with. The problem i had was with the Manager. My car was having problems with the tires and when i brought my car to the service area, o was told i had to get 3 new tires for $700 due to problems on the inside of the tire. Asked manager at Billy Navarre if he could take care of the ticket for me due to be freshly having the car & he did not want to take care of it. Now i have used tires on my car

Bought a car from a salesman by the name of Alec Johnson. Salesman was knowledgeable of their inventory, charismatic, and very accommodating. Shopping around for a new truck, I went to look at Chevys. I told them I was just looking but got brought inside to talk. They werent as much interested in selling me a truck as getting me to work there. I got introduced to a couple guys with the last name of Navarre that tried multiple times to hire me. I managed to get out and went to Nissan. This was because before Navarre bought it. There I found a great truck. When they were checking my credit they told me Navarre ran my credit twenty time to lower my score so I had trouble getting credit. Will never but anything from them. Ill drive out of state before I buy from them.

The car was brought in for a leaking valve cover gasket and it cost almost $600.00 to repair. I am not clear on how an engine with now a 120,000 warranty can experience such an expensive repair. Is a valve cover gasket considered a wear item?

This place is a joke. Third vehicle Ive bought from them. First 2 used but the last one new. The sales persons are great but the service is absolute below satisfactory. Weve had our Hyundai just over a year and my wife is there sometimes three times a month, they just cant seem to rectify our issues. Its actually sad how the sales people work so hard at a sale only to have the service department chase their clients off to another dealer. Never again. # T. SWEET

I say its ok at best. I dont think we will do business wit them anymore. Just too many unsavory dealings with them. Please dont treat people like they are ignorant and dont be so pushy when it comes to trying to perform some sort of service on peoples vehicles. I can do many of these services myself. I have been in the mechanic business for a long time. When a customer says no they mean no. Offer it once...maybe twice. After that youre just going to make people upset. Im asking kindly....please dont contact me again. We dont want to deal with Billy Navarre anymore.

Unfortunately, I cannot give Billy Navarres service department a positive review. On January 16 I called to see if they were able to do repairs on a 2013 Chrysler 300. An appointment was made for Friday, January 18 at 9am. I subsequently received 2 emails confirming the appointment with Kevin Donadieu which noted that it was for a 2013 Chrysler 300 and a 3rd email that was a reminder of the appointment with Kevin Donadieu for a 2013 Chrysler 300. On Thursday, January 17, I received 2 emails reminding me of the appointment for January 18 with Kevin Donadieu at 9am for a 2013 Chrysler 300.On Friday January 18, my husband arrived at Billy Navarre at approximately 8:55 am for the appointment. A service person was outside of the service office and asked him what he needed. He told her that he had an appointment for 9am with Kevin Donadieu. She told him that they did NOT service Chryslers and asked if he had made the appointment for another location. He called me and I confirmed that the appointment was for the address where he was. She then went in to talk to Kevin who told her that he didnt have any appointments for Friday at 9am. My husband left and came home.I called to talk to Kevin but could only get to voice mail. I called back and the receptionist at the service center told me that Kevin would be calling me back. I hadnt received a call so I called the service manager and had to leave a message. Again I have not received a call back.We are now heading into the weekend which means that we will not be able to get any repairs done on the vehicle until next week. I truly expected better from Billy Navarres Service Center.
My car is in for a part covered under warranty and on a recall. They refused to pay for a rental or supply me with one. I would call and not be able to get through to anyone who knew anything about my vehicle. That was my second bad experience with them thinking this first was a fluke. Dont expect this dealership to be there when you need. Good luck to you
