Dont buy any Lawn Mowers here they always throw a belt that cost 100 bucks. They never have time to fix ya lawn mower. We have to bring it to someone eles that gets it fixed in a day. Poor service here. Not enough people to service your Lawn Mower... And they charge you to pick it up n bring it back if you do put it in their shop may take 2 to 3 weeks to fix.

Had everything I needed to repair my Bad Boy mower and Stihl trimmer and went above and beyond for me. Bought a blower from them and they immediately serviced it and tested it before I left. Great group of people. Thank you so much.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!We brought our riding mower to Congress Outdoor Power Equipment because the starter went out. After two months without a single word from them, my husband called to inquire about it and was told that it would be ready for pick up on the following Friday. That was a lie. They hadnt even started working on it.We had to wait another two weeks for our mower to finally be fixed. When my husband picked it up today, he was met with a bill for over $300 for multiple repairs that were not needed. He felt he had no choice but to pay the money so that we could get our property back from this company, but well definitely be reporting them the the Better Business Bureau and the state Attorney General.

I bought a mower from this place. Talked to a salesman over the phone and he answered any questions I had. I placed my order and it was delivered within a week. Delivery man was also nice and courteous, he wore a mask which I appreciated. He gave me a quick run-down on how to operate the mower.Later when I tried to change the oil, I found that the oil plug was truly stuck. I called them up for advice and long story short, they ended up taking it in. Carted off in the morning and returned an hour or so later with the drain plug loosened so I could complete my servicing. All in all, I was very satisfied and I am so glad I went with a local place instead of the big box store.

I was shopping for a tiller during the Winter and discovered that no one had inventory due to the pandemic. I spoke with Scott by telephone who did not have any in stock but offered to call me when he did. He called me in mid April saying he had received just one of the Model I was looking for. I was first on his list and done exactly as promised. Picked it up the following week. What absolutely great service. A customer for life!

Well on 04-23-21 I called this place and a lady answered the phone and i asked for her if someone can help me about an issue i was having with my pressure washer so she said she can help me and she did answer my question but as I was trying to explain some other details she then cut me off and said sir I answered your question, i have customers in front of me in a aggravated tone and tried to play it off and said is there anything else I can help you with lol I was so mad but yet I didnt get an attitude and thanks and hung up. Now i did shop at this place in the past and from what I remember the service was good i mean maybe she had a bad morning or something but i was was highly dissatisfied 😒

Service manager Tammy was helpful, knowledgeable with the lawn machine we use and all with a friendly attitude on a Monday morning I may add!

I needed some chains for my saw to clean up after hurricane Ida. They were very helpful over the phone to make sure I got the right ones before driving to Lafayette. Thanks!

Needed a new lawn mower. Lowes carries the Cub, but we felt that Congress Outdoor Equipment would provide better service. So we stopped in Saturday to see if the had a Cub Cadet SC 900 model. They had it in stock, and we were able to see it and purchase it. Scott couldnt have been more helpful, taking time to explain maintenance of the mower, as well as the seasonal tune up that they offer. Great people, great service.

This dealer is way to expensive and takes way to long for service. Cub cadet is not the better mower for the price anymore. Even though you buy from them they trying to make big money on there repairs. I’ll be using Jerold’s cub cadet dealer for any repairs on my cub products in the future. I’ll be taking my 3 chain saws and my weedeater elsewhere also. But they don’t care about us residential guys anyway. They want the commercial guys that can pay the $300 bills for repairs.

Very poor customer service..

This place is a nightmare they have poor customer service and they dont guarentee they warranty. 2016 I brought at exmark for 10000 cash and not even a day later I started having problems with it brought it back to them and they said they fix the issue so about 3 months later my motor blow and brought it back at they shop and they say it was a Operator fault so my warranty was void I told them it was doing what it was doing when I bought it back the first time they still havent did nothing yet its been since 2016 my mower only got 78 hours on it and they say I had a 5 year are 500 hours which ever comes fit but they want cover it they a RIP off b

Im am in there weekly for parts . The ladies are verry helpful provided you know what you need. Obviously needing an air filter for a red lawnmower isnt enough information. I even refer my own customers for parts I do not have on hand.

I took my Stihl chainsaws there months ago. They sat for weeks with no communication from the shop. When I called, they were ready. They were unable to repair one saw. The other immediately overheated upon use. I took another saw over there a week ago because they are close to my house. After 20 minutes on hold, I found out that they have not looked at it yet. Going forward, I will find another shop.

My husband brought a 10,000 dollar mower from these people a year later engine blow now they want him to come up with 3,000 to fix it plus his warrantee still good til 2020 they all about money there. we will never do business there again

Over charged me for new equipment clearly marked on the shelf. Said the price went up but will charge me the lower price. I go in to get my refund and some parts for my other equipment wait 15 minutes there were 3 employees and they only had 2 computers. After waiting 15 minutes I left. Will try again another day. Rude employees, rookie employees, horrible customer service.

Staff is always friendly and they have quality products. I do my own work so I cant speak to that but I love the fact that I can walk in, give them my name and a part I need and walk out.

While I believe they have all the best intentions in the world sometimes a business owner just gets in the way of doing business. The service department needs a professional service department manager that dedicates time to service. Every time I bring my equipment in for service it takes forever. It is always the factory or the delivery trucks or my guy had to leave early for a family emergency.I like the owners they are nice. But as a business owner that relys upon vendors I hold my vendors feet to the fire because there inability to respond to my needs timely and professionally effects my relationship with my customer.Excuses run thin when you rely upon your equipment to make a living or you just need to cut your grass and your service provider interferes with your ability to do so.

Went to buy a Stihl Pro combi system today with 3 attachments. About $900 with tax.. I walked in the store at 10:50 a.m. By 11;!5 a.m. no one had greeted me or asked if I needed help. There were 3 employees at the counter and the store only had 3 customers while I was there and they were bringing in repairs. Ive purchased from them before but Im going to take my business where it seems to be appreciated. Also similar service experiences...
