If you are shopping around for anything garage door related, this is definitely the company I would recommend to you. They were FAST. Efficient. Affordable!! Very nice and extremely knowledgeable about every little detail. They answered every single question I had while they were in the process of working and never skipped a beat. Mr. Don came out to my house to take measurements the very next day after I called him. From there, it only took 12 hours and he sent me an estimate. I thought it would cost me at least $4,000 or $5,000 to replace all 3 garage doors along with all new tracking systems, sensors, remotes and more. But the pricing was amazing. I would highly recommend this company literally everyone in my life!!! Great job guys!!!!

First of all, our brand new door on our new home was installed incorrectly so we have had nothing but problems with it. It took a supervisor (or lead technician) to come out and figure that out. No follow up by them unless we call them as now they know what the problem is. They come out if you call, but they must be totally unorganized.

Today our overhead door motor, sensors, belt, key pad along with new remotes and an outside code pad was replaced by Troy ? Scott. He did an excellent job and was very helpful in explaining the new system. He had it all complete in a timely fashion. He is to be commended on a job well done.

Donald did excellent work closing in my mothers carport in preparation for the garage door install. They arrived when promised and performed all work in a satisfactory manner. Had some technical issues but they resolved them quickly and efficiently.

After an unfortunate broken spring, I called and spoke with Ms. Pat. She was very friendly(like talking to an old friend) and knowledgeable. She knew more of what was wrong with my door than I did. She told me what the repair would entail in an understandable way. I knew then I wanted to do business with this company. Especially after, I had met with another company who came out and basically told me I needed springs and a new panel. Needless to say, I made an appointment with Ms. Pat and even that was met without a hitch. My husband met the technician at our home and he too talked about the kindness and the integrity. We are so glad we chose to do business with a company that is honest, efficient, and has the know how to get the job done. I would not hesitate to use them again if the need arise, but we were told it should last 7-10 more years. So we will definitely refer every chance we get. Thanks!

Don is a great guy who knows his trade, Anna is a top notch Office Mgr., and the customer service is beyond reproach. In all of my dealings with this outfit, I have nothing but good things to say. The quality of the work done for us is outstanding. Any questions we have are promptly answered and they do know their business. My wife and I are quite satisfied with Overhead Door Company.

Called to get my garage door replaced. The salesman was at my house the very next day and the door was installed by dinnertime that same day. Damon and Caleb did an excellent job on the installation and even programmed the button in my car to open the garage door. I would definitely use them again!

Brad, Shannon and Joe did a complete garage door install at my place of business today. They did quality and timely work. Also the business offered competitive pricing based on other bids. They actually came in with a price at $300 lower than anyone else. If we ever need another garage door installed I know who I am calling.

My original review was erased or deleted. This company does not stand behind its word when you are promised to receive service. I live in a very nice home off E. bayou Pkwy. and when I was promised a service call but later was told my paperwork was lost, upsets me. I am still not satisfied with this company or its service standards which it has none. I am curious to see if this review also disappears.

Would not recommend. They came and fixed an issue with my garage door and within a little over a month the same problem started to occur again and they wanted to charge me a $100 service fee to come back out! They only warranty their work for a month. Had I known this I would have went with someone else!

Done right long lasting

Built a brand new garage, 1000 sq ft. My contractor used overhead garage door to do the install which was well north of $10k as they are 2 large glass garage doors that fits 2 cars each.Initially pre purchase/install their service was incredible. Responded on time and came out to measure everything and service was great.Post install, the company did a whole 180, their attitude has changed in an extremely negative way. Every few months the garage door wont open and malfunction and it’s always a service charge of well over $200. Nothing is ever covered under warranty.A few months ago I had a dispute with them regarding another $200 bill when the guy literally walked in for less than 2 minutes and fixed the issue. Not saying I wouldn’t pay them, but $200? For driving 2 miles down the road and fixing a simple issue which I wish I had the knowledge to fix. However, I eventually paid them in full.Regardless, my garage door is not operating again, and this time they want me to pay themUpfront because it took me a “long time” to pay them before. I again agreed, however it’s been 4 days now and nobody has showed up or even called for “pre payment”As a business I understand the need to mke a profit, but to overcharge their customers over and over again is absolutely wrong, specially in a small city like Lafayette. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

The secectry is very nice but when don comes on the phone he has not heard of you then starts yelling there is fifty is sixty doors ahead of you. You do you think you are badmouthing his sec. Scary man.

I had 3 doors installed not far from the cry Baby who said his paper work was lost,toughen up whimp!My 3 doors are bigger than normal.Donald Scott came and looked and said no problem!He had to special order them.Those guys came and I helped by wiring them myself and machining a few specialty parts. I had to scramble to keep up with them .Donald Scott is a serious no bullshit hard working guy as is his team. These kind of guys are what made America great. . .if you are nice and intelligent to him he will reciprocate .If you are unreasonable he doesnt have time for that neither do I. . .

I have had them come out multiple times and the most recent time garage door worked for less than 24 hrs. Multiple houses in my neighborhood had these doors installed and they all have issues. Their service is horrible and I would not recommend them !

I waited five hours for them to install a garage door opener but they never showed. Nor did they have the courtesy to call. I am taking my business to another company.

Charged me for parts that was covered under warranty. Called Liftmaster customer service and they told me they would have shipped me the part for free.

Waited a week for callunch back to send a technician, no response!
