My Volvo was making some terrible noises after bottoming it out; I had pushed my exhaust into the drive shift. Russell Auto service was able to make all the noise stop in a few hours without replacing anything or charging me. Very friendly and great service as well. Russell’s is my favorite mechanic, as the shop is friendly, professional, and flexible. They are always realistic about the repair timeframe and necessity. I’ve taken my many cars to mechanics all over the state but Russell’s always wins out.

Russell’s is an excellent shop and I’m glad I found them. They are very well priced, professional, and honest. I’ve had two occurrences when I brought in my vehicle for various maintenance items that they turned down after letting me know it wasn’t necessary/due. That’s over $450 maintenance they could have easily collected that they turned down.Beyond their honesty, I’ve found their prices to be best in town on multiple occurrences in which I price shopped about 5 local shops. They also have a loaner vehicle if you schedule ahead of time.Excellent shop, I highly recommend!!

I needed new brakes and rotors on my car...Fearful to find a new mechanic as all of my previous vehicles were cared for by my Father whos now a retired mechanicI know first hand how easily a shop can take advantage of customers.I feel very fortunate to have found Russells and will continue to look to them for any other services I may need on the future.They were honest and informative while finishing repairs in just 1 short day.Of course making a appointment ahead of time is the best way to go.

My car engine was misfiring. I had taken it to another mechanic a while back and they had diagnosed it as being my cam shaft position sensor. I attempted to replace the sensor myself, but had troubles so I took it here. First of all, Russell Auto Services was willing to use the part I had bought, which is more than I can say for other places. Second of all, they figured out that the sensor wasnt the reason for my engine misfiring and that it was just the spark plugs. They replaced the spark plugs at no extra charge.They had solved the problem within two hours and they did it at an extremely reasonable price compared to other locations. They werent afraid to call me and give me regular updates on their thoughts. Overall, I was extremely pleased with their services. They managed to be both cheap and efficient.

So far the mechanical work was done well! The people here were efficient and worked with my insurance to resolve everything. The reason for 3 stars is that they left the interior of my car smelling like gasoline which Im having to have a detailed cleaning of my car to remove.

What an awesome group of people! Russell automotive has come to our rescue more than once and will always be the place we take all of our cars to in our family. I had an urgent need today in a snowstorm when my window completely fell out of the track and into the door and I brought my car in in an emergency situation and they were able to fit me in immediately and fix my window for me. I am like everyone and have had my share of autoshops try and take advantage. So I turn to Google. Since basically everyone has great things to say (especially those like me who try to self diagnose first - and think we know more than we do.)I decided to give Russell auto services in Lafayette Colorado a try.Well long story short. They lived up to the hype. They were timely, fair, and updated me on possible fixes. They did offer me a work around with awareness it may void the warranty on the part that cost me less than $30. Abs,awd,and vsc errors are the bane of RAV4 owners and the typical fixes werent doing it. They figured out it was a harness issue and had me out the same day (today) after months of trying to do it myself. Next time Im just going here.10/10 would recommend

These guys are my go to garage. I do most of my own work, but when theres something I dont have time or tools (or skill) enough to do, I bring my cars to them. They are totally honest, more than fair with price and they do a really great job on repairs. I recommend them 100%.

Awesome service by good honest people

Weve been here twice since receiving a tip from a family member. Creative troubleshooting identified the first issue as a faulty sparkplug, and the second issue to a motor mount needing to be tightened down. Less than $200 for BOTH repairs, and thats only because we had them swap out burnt out bulbs that they also identified for us. Cheers to intelligent repairs. Thanks Dave and staff!
