What a nightmare! My daughter and her husband purchased a certified preowned Passat with about 35000 miles and about 2 months later it wouldn’t start. It was towed to VW of Lafayette who has no rental service in place. VW in Lafayette LA has had her broken car for over 2 weeks while managers and customer care reps go back and forth deciding whether the main fuses (which is supposedly what was wrong) are covered under warranty. We have been told so many different things from different people- one being that since the battery was installed wrong it’s not covered- we don’t know how they came to the battery conclusion. Next guy who calls said the fuses are fixed but now the $1100 alternator is broken and not covered under warranty.After so much frustration my daughter called the salesman of the “lemon” at VW of Mandeville desperate for help. DISHONEST. DISHONEST DISHONESTI was getting a new key fob.I was qoted 90 dollars. Then, when I arrived they quoted 158. He said the first quote was for the part only. He said 158 was with labor. I agreed to pay. Then after the work was done. About 30 minutes, he charged me 220. Said he took 40 dollars off. I asked how he came to that number. He said it was labor and the part. 220 after he said 158. Im so angry. I called the makey fob. in manager. He listened. Thats it. I will tell everyone about how they handle their business. DISHONEST. If I could give zero stars I would. This is the kind of thing that give mechanics a bad reputation.

Top notch experience. I dreaded the thought of shopping for a new car but kind of knew what I was looking for. I popped into Mike Raisor and talked with Sierra. She was friendly, very knowledgeable, and never pushy. Not once did I feel like I was dealing with the stereotypical car salesman/ saleswoman.My second trip there I was graciously helped again by Nick, the head sales Manager. He helped me hone in what I was looking for and found my perfect car at a very fair price.Then even after I signed the paperwork, the crew at mike Raisor spent several more days making sure my new (used) car was up to date, clean, safe, fully functional, and all cosmetic blemishes were repaired. The dealership does not deal with servicing parts, but only replacing them. I was quoted 10,500$ for part replacements because they couldn’t find the fault.One week of research, 2 hours of labour and 40$ later, I have solved the problem. My Jetta hybrid works better than ever and has been the same for the past week. All in all, it was a big scam that VW doesn’t want to service the parts and just go about replacing them.I technically saved 10,460$. Had to spend 158$ for an hr worth of manual labour diagnosis at the dealership which was avoidable had I researched better.The lady at the front desk is really sweet and Kyle Bandelier was also really helpful.But VW policies aren’t great at all

The entire experience was fantasic. Saw the vehicle we wanted online on a Friday. Had it in my drive, all paperwork completed and a smile on our face by Saturday at 2pm. Randy Stahl was great and would highly recommend him as a no BS sales person. There was no running back and forth to manager 6 times etc. When arrived to sign the documents we needed most of the paper work was already done. Very easy to work with and would recommed Lafayette VW/Audi to friends and family.

I inquired about an Atlas on a Monday and by Thursday was ready to just go pick it up and sign on the dotted line! When we got to Lafayette it took about 45 min from start to finish and we drove the 3.5 hrs back home in our new car! Unsatisfactory service. On two occasions, the service department did not consult with my service contract (warranty extension) for a pre-authorization prior to completing repairs on my vehicle (as required), which resulted in me paying over $5k out of pocket for repairs. (Instead of $500) I cant say how much I wish I had gone somewhere else for a second opinion. I consulted with an attorney, but the fine print on my contract doesnt allow for compensation or legal action. At best, this was a huge mistake. At worst... avoiding an extended warranty, a dealership makes more money if the customer pays for repairs...I hope thats not the case here, but I wont be returning.

I have recently moved but I used this location for about four years with my Volkswagen and I have never had a bad experience. They were always able to get me in whenever something was going on with my car, or if I was worried about something and wanted them to double check it. The staff is very friendly, the facility is very clean, and they are a very communicative with what is going on so you are never in the dark. Whenever you get your car checked they will also vacuum it and wash it for free which was always an extra perk of taking my car in and getting it fixed with it looking shiny and new.

Walked in without an appointment to ask about current lease deals on the Jetta line up. (was looking to reduce payments drastically) I was greeted by Joe Baldwin who listened to my rambling about reducing my current payments and how I had some months left on my current lease. Joe assisted me in finding a Jetta that fit (call me crazy I wanted a manual) and we negotiated. He was no pressure and we were able to close a deal. When I first purchase the vehicle, customer service was awesome, very friendly, very helpful. I purchased a car almost 45 days ago, my paper plate expires on the 2nd which is LABOR DAY. I’ve called EVERY DAY for the past 2 weeks. They keep saying there is a problem with getting the title, then don’t call me back or help me at all. They either don’t answer the phone, answer then send me to voicemail, say they’ll call me back the next day and never do, or say they’ll call me back in 5-10 minutes and never do. I’m so fed up with how AWFUL and terrible this customer service and communication is. Completely ridiculous. 100% do NOT recommend.

This is an outstanding dealership! We live an hour away and I found a CPO Tiguan here that looked like what we wanted on Cargurus after looking at them at our local VW dealer. We worked with Joe Baldwin Jr, he was an absolute pleasure to deal with and was also very knowledgeable about VW. What an honest and kind man, Im used to dealers, especially the sales managers trying to screw me out of whatever they can and he actually wanted to save us money, how refreshing! My husband and son accompanied me on a drove from Indy to this location to purchase a vehicle. Aside from myself continually feeling rubbed the wrong way about how it was assumed that my husband was buying the car— itemized receipt having his name. Title having him listed first. Follow up email being addressed to him— when it was all financially my own cash purchase, choice, I who test drove the vehicle, and I who wrote the check, the rest of the transaction was seamless.Stephen, Mike, and Casey were great.My being rubbed the wrong way by the continuous assumption may be petty, but is aggravating none the less as a female in 2019. 7 years ago I had a very similar experience at a different car dealership. *shrug*Otherwise, I still recommend this location if you’re looking for a quick and easy VW purchase.

Without question the best experience Ive had buying a car. From the salespeople (Joe and Stephen) to the Sales Manager (Nick), I was treated well. They listened to what you wanted and worked hard to get you just that. Buying a car can be an intimidating task, but the folks at Mike Raisor made very easy!

Very honest and helpful service adviser (sorry forgot his name). I went for a early oil change and was told that I still have several thousand miles that I can drive and 6 months before doing my oil change. He told it is best to do the oil change on a later date to fully utilize my VW care service plan. Thanks

I just bought a 2019 Jetta from Alex Farley and Nick Schenkel. They jumped through so many hoops to get the deal done. The service from the beginning to the end of the sale was top notch. At no point did I feel like I was getting pressured or cheated. They were willing to work within my budget and tried very hard to get me what I wanted within the price of what I was willing to pay.The dealership itself is very nice on the inside and out and the selection of cars were nice. Alex seemed to know quite a bit about the features of the brand new car. He was able to answer any question I had and when he didnt have an answer for me he was able to find it and followup with me very quickly.At the time they did not have the exact model I wanted but they were able to locate and do a dealer trade and have the car to me within a few short days.Overall very happy with the car, with the service, and with the dealership as a whole.

They presented me with several options and in the end I was able to cut my monthly payment in half and got into a new car with maintenance package and more amenities. The dealership wasnt overly pushy about buying a car. Of course the are on commission so they do push a little, but far less than other places. They also seemed fairly knowledgeable about the cars they sell.
