DO NOT SELL HERE!!! They will low ball you beyond belief. They offered me only 10% of what it was worth. Went to the pawn shop down the road and they offered me 48% of its value.

Place is terrible, save yourself the trip and go up the street to the pawn shop. Was asking for a small loan on a very rare item of value and try to lowball me on the loan, but if I sold it to them Id get a great price. When I told them I really want the item back he then said there is no market for it he couldnt do the loan? Really ? You had just offered $200 if Id Sell it now theres no market? Unbelievable how they treat their customers. Also about 1/2 of these positive reviews were generated by bots if that tells you anything.

Had a ring tested for gold and real diamonds. The test they did for gold noticeably scratched the ring and gave no warning it would do so. As for the diamond test they clearly don’t know how to use a diamond tester. I took it to actual experts at Vierks and got a completely different answer. They tried to tell me my diamond ring was a fake but with real 14k gold. Vierks confirmed its authenticity as a diamond tester only know how to test one thing. DIAMONDS! RamZ needs to learn to use their testing equipment before running around telling people they have a fake ring. Beyond irritating

Bought a laptop was told it was good and working nothing wrong with it was charged 150$. But then when I got home had to buy a new charger and battery which ended up costing me the same price as a new laptop. I wont be going there anymore.. Very disappointed

I went in and had them give me an appraisal. They appraised my item at $265.00 I left ofcourse because I knew I was being cheated. I drove 10 minutes down the road to veirks on 18th st. In lafayette in . they took one quick look and offered $1,110.00 dollars in cash on the spot ..i took it and the receipt back to Ramseys emporium . Only to be told it was a mistake and I must have misunderstood? Beware they are crooks and have been taking advantage of our wallets for decades. Please dont enable them!!!

RamZs is a unique place to shop. There are always new items in the store. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Most of my purchases have been jewelry...If you have jewelry needs go see Harmony. She is super nice, helpful and knows what she is talking about when it comes to jewelry. RamZs is a great place to shop.

Girl on phone was very nice and made me feel welcome to share some really interesting antiques I brought a few of my collection in first I showed the crane station railroad Lantern to their specialist which he was not even interested in hearing any details or conversing about next same thing with the fiddle I brought in their music guy wanted to offer me Pennies on the dollar.There gun guys are not even worth mentioning when I showed my Kentucky long rifle,it was the typical old boy sitting alongside a rascal behind the counter routine.

Wow! This place is amazing! If you want to be treated well and fairly, this is a place you will want to check out. Many items to buy so plan to spend some time looking around.For those who gave low ratings or complaining about their service, you must be constant complainers. The owners and staff are really good people and work hard to do right by their customers. I wish more places ran their business like Ramzs.Cant wait to stop in and shop again!

This place is way overstuffed with random things that are severely overpriced and poorly sorted, and the staff are incredibly rude. I wanted a ring resized and they treated me like I was an idiot for not knowing the size I needed immediately. I will not be returning and I suggest anyone looking to buy or sell anything reasonably steer clear of these guys.

The staff was very courteous and answered all of my questions that they knew the answers to. They went to the trouble of looking up the best solution to my query on my purchase. This is the reason Ive been a customer of this family owned business for years.

Greedy and dishonest. Ramzs people took a collection that took 10 years and 100s & 100s of dollars to build and only offered 25$. Staff refused to take antiques, jewelry, only took pure silver or gold. Very unprofessional and lies about the total value of what is brought in. We felt cheated and will not return. Avoid this place!

They dont tell ya nothing on the phone and their rude while your their. When someone has to drive 45 mind to come just to be told. What ya have is worthless. When they have the same item in the glass case for much higher. I know ya got to make a buck. But why lie to make a profit.

I bought things there all the time, until I went in one day to get some coins appraised and I said I didnt want to sell them. After finding out I wasnt selling the owner himself made me feel like I was wasting his time and treated me like something stuck to the bottom of his shoe.
