The store was well organized and the employee I interacted with was pleasant. But the fact that there were homeless people seemingly living out in front of the store was a bit sketchy for me.

Staff is great minus the manager ( cant remember name but she has dual french braids) who is either in office or walks past the one line that extended back almost to the rear of store. I understand staffing but there where 3 employees plus her one several occasions with one register open. As an ASM at a retail store you either get your own self onto a register or call for back up. I rarely leave my merch. and walk out but have twice here along with several others as we waited (I checked as I was curious) over 15 minutes to. Move half way up line. This was not during Holiday. There are several pan handlers that will follow you to your car and the outside smells of urine. While I understand the staff can only do so much it be nice to see management politely asking the ones that bother their customers to move on. Its a necessary thing to keep customers and staff safe. I normally drive the distance to the Tumwater store they close an hour earlier on Sunday. I should have waited. To be honest corp. needs to step in and help this store as more people are going to the other Dollar Tree locations which shouldnt be happening as the location of this is prime. Thank You

Shopping at Dollar Tree is always a good experience for me. However today, I was taken back by the dark haired caucasian female stocker who was some what rude. Id asked her where the baking soda was and she did tell me in the grocery aisles and didnt tell me where the grocery aisles were before leaving abruptly before I could get the question out.Normally your store associates ask the customers is there anything else I can help you with? So I guess she was having a bad day and I decided it would be best to pay for what I had and forget about the baking soda.The situation wont effect me shopping here again, only approaching her.

1 star for the $1 store. Now I remember why I only shop at the store once every 2 years…the lines to checkout move so incredibly s l o w. And two extra staff just stood there staring last night. How is it hard to open another register?? Also, the Halloween section is really dismal compared to other dollar trees I’ve seen on Instagram and YouTube. Hope they step it up in more ways than one.

I go to this store everyday and buy a lot of stuff but the reason Im not giving this a 5 star is because, my total was 9.66 the cashier said I still needed 57 cents so I decided to remove a item and gave them more than the total and he said I still needed more even tho it my total was supposed to be 8.65 and I gave him 9.19 and said it wasnt the total. Great store but bad service

As far as Dollar Trees go this one is average. They are on the larger side for a dollar tree so they have lots of inventory. Staff are also friendly and quick! Good card selection, lots of birthday party supplies, and good balloon selection. I cant give 5 stars as the store could use a good cleaning inside and out as well as some better staff management. It took far too long for a second employee to hop on a register to help with the growing line.

This South Sound Dollar Tree is never kept clean. It is so poorly managed it reminds me of Mexico places with dirt floors. Today, not a shopping cart in site, and very few people had them in in store. Hello corporate ! Do something!!

Big selection, good quality, relatively good prices buy lousy customer service. Had to wait at counter because no one there for 10 minutes just to get locker key and missed my ride. Wasnt impressed.

Staff and selection are great! Gets crowded and lines get long, so shop off-peak if you can. Got some great glassware here!

I rode my horse in here one time, they were kind to him, he ate a cash register but they said it was alright, great staff and great prices.

Wonderful place to find great Easter decorations, plastic eggs, and candy to fill them with. Cool basket stuffers, chocolate Bunnys, and other chocolates. They have peeps, reading books, color books, activities books, and puzzle books galore, toys, stuffed animals, and a tun of craft stuff, perfect for everyones Easter baskets, or write it on paper put it in a plastic egg for a special prizes, in the Easter egg hunt. Happy Easter everyone.

Love this place!!!! And seriously EVERYTHING is only a dollar!!! (Except Inslee steals ten more cents on top of EVERY dollar. So I guess I should EVERYTHING is only one dollar and ten cents!!! Added benefit they often have sexy gals with blue, green, or pink hair and even some with tattoos!

The employees do a great job even though assistant manager Presley has nothing better to do then to wander around micro managing cashiers while theyre helping customers and embarrass customers at the register. And to store manager Melinda: The employees deserve better than Presley.

Great little treasures for just about everything. Love stopping in here! I come in for 1 thing, leave with 20...but so cheap it doesnt break the bank! Especially good for party supplies & fun holiday accents.

It has much to offer for just a dollar each. This store is always cranking. However, they never have enough registers open for the crowds checking out. You save money but no time?! Just remember you will be waiting in a line for 15 minutes to half an hour.

I like this Dollar Store its clean and one of the managers Presley is the sweetest person there. Ive very much enjoyed the kindness from all the employees and definitely enjoy the fact they know my name when I walk in this is the best dollar store in Lacey.

A DOLLAR!Thats the best price in town for ice. 2 dollars at Walmart gets you 10 pounds.2 dollars at Dollar Store gets you 14 pounds.I did the math for ya! Stay cool!

Its a typical dollar store except for the employees. They are more helpful here than any other dollar store Ive been to (and some other stores as well).

I shop here a lot & only true complaints I have is unable to get thru aisles due to displays or restocking. I use a powerchair. Lines can be way too long, & not their fault, but customers leave the place a mess. I think they have a nice variety of merchandise

Large variety of products and all items are one dollar. The store is laid out well, cashiers are helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking including handicapped spaces. Its a fun store but be careful as those dollars can add up!!!

Gotta love this store, has huge selection of stuff that is used in daily life. Staff are nice and store is maintained despite patrons not always being neat in their shopping habits. Lines rarely get backed up, but they try to get everything done fast enough.

Hadnt been in this one in a while. Did not have what i went in there for. Of course I did find some things to buy... Halloween seasonal items. Surprised they still have a bunch. They reorganized so I had to wander thru ailes.This place is getting really ghetto. Cashier lane label is taped up and falling apart. It needs replaced.

I absolutely love shopping at Dollar Tree stores; however, I will not be returning back to this location. I took my baby with me to grab some things for some craft projects. She cant walk yet so I had to use a cart. Apparently, this stores anti theft solution to people taking carts is to put a giant metal rod that stands about 3 feet off them. I checked out and had about 4 bags of items that I could not carry with my baby in my arms. I tried to get the cart out the door and ended up just ramming it through. A manger rushed out, not offering to help, but to complain about how the stores 4 carts were outside. They really need to work on their people skills.

They need more cashiers!! Always a long line. Went in for a few items (Google Dollar Tree for store hours and stock.) Found what I needed. Store is fairly large, staff friendly. Like the Tumwater location better. The lady sleeping on the concrete just beside the entrance is wrong. Handicap accessible and handicap parking available.

The wait is always horrible, the lines are crazy and the staff is rude. If I could buy dish soap anywhere wise for a buck I would. Social distancing is never enforced and Ive never seen antic cleaned.

They no longer have carts for customer use in the store. As I have problems standing for very long I wont be spending much time there as I usually use a cart for support while I am walking or standing.

Everythings a dollar. Probably the most fun is finding brand name stuff that costs $3 or $4 elsewhere. Cleaning supplies, glassware, and holiday party stuff are best values.

They never have enough CASHIERS !! THE MERCHSNDISE IN SEASONAL ISLE IS EXCELLENT !!! I love the store shop there. 2 x a week at least 1x a month for sure. The grocery a small name brand Salsa, Heinz 57 Salt & Pepper you can grind !! there just the right size for a 65 year old that doesnt need that much.

The $ tree on slatter was awful. No cold drinks shelves empty. Smelt dirty. Never seen this one look so bad.

If it wasnt for the cashier it would have been 2 stars.

For me, its always a fun shopping experience at the Dollar Tree. They usually have a lot of things that I would buy at a regular priced store - it just costs less. So, I do my shopping there before I hit the other stores. The employees are friendly and helpful. Most of the time they greet you when you come in. They have a wide variety of products, including food items. Some of their merchandise is you get what you pay for, but some of it is really great. For example, I have been getting my hair dye there for a couple yrs. - last time I got the spendy stuff and it didnt cover my gray hair nearly as well as the $ Tree brand. The only drawback is, when I go in for just a couple things, I tend to come out with a full cart of bags - sometimes I even get so distracted that I forget to pick up the things I went in for lol.
