Great selection, price is pretty good on most products. One of the best lumber yards Ive used in Knoxville customer service wise.

We bought some lumber that was only available in 16 foot lengths. They offered to cut it to 8 foot lengths so we could get it in our van. They cut it off so badly that the boards were almost unusable. Chipped and not measured closely.We

Just Cancelled my lumber order with Christmas Lumber Co. I have visited this establishment multiple times and at each visit the customer service was terrible. But looking to support local business I kept going back for deck building materials. I had ordered decking material from Christmas and called back to get additional materials added to the order. I was told by Randy on the line that he would not sell me the additional materials because I was not a regular customer, and he noted that the materials that I had already purchased should not have been sold to me because they too were only for regular customers. When I called back and told Randy that I wanted to cancel order due to poor customer service, Randy responded with Great! I could not believe my ears. The customer service here is very poor, this business caters to contractors and does not support the DIYers. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere if you are not one of their regular customers

Mark and Tony were both very helpful on the phone. They had plenty of 4x8 pine beadboard in stock at a great low price. Home Depot didnt have anything in stock. I was in, loaded, and back on the road in no time! Thanks guys!

Called for a 35 wide door, individual would not stop questioning my measuring and became condescending and insulting. He continued to insist my measuring was incorrect and would not simply special order the storm door. I decided to take my business elsewhere and told him he could disregard the request. His reply of see ya sealed the deal, we will not visit Christmas Lumber again. We only hope he was not management.

Shorted me 5 1×6×12 Cedar tongue and groove boards on an order of 75. Also 4 of the boards tongues were split all the way down the entire board. 1 of the boards was warped so bad there was a 3 bow from end-to-end. Out of 75 boards 5 were missing and 5 were unusable so paid for 75 only got 65 and they refused to make it right even when I was placing another order for 50 more boards. Find another supplier.

Longer story shortened, I needed a high grade, 5 ply 5/8 plywood for a roof job, and 5 ply sheathing is in short supply. I called GP corporate, then Christmas in Harriman. The man in Harriman said they didnt have it but he would try to locate some. I ended up getting a number for Theron at their Knoxville location who said he had some high grade AP. I went down, paid them for it. It was delivered while I was away and set in the incorrect location, so I called and they came right out and moved it.Cant get much better service! And now I have a roof that is absolutely breath-taking and strong as an ox, in part, thanks to Christmas lumber.
