I just recently moved to Florida and have a interview coming up very soon and Tyrone was able to sit down with me and explain all the suits he could order me with his own personal experience in helping me pick the right one just for me! He was incredibly patient and polite and once it was delivered he worked with haste to tailor it in time for the interview. If I went anywhere else I wouldve gotten a worse suit for a higher price, so I strongly recommend you check out this family owned business that truly cares about your professional attire and the look you are trying to achieve. Although they mainly do suit rentals he was super helpful on helping me purchase one through him. I couldnt be more happy with how comfortable and good looking the suit he recommended for me is, and you wont regret them either!

Let me tell you first, T & A are some of the most NICEST people I have ever met. Long story short, Mens WH messed up my rental and that left me with a week left to get another suit ready for my brothers wedding. I called them and they told me they could have it ready in just 2 DAYS. I couldn’t believe it but once I picked the suits up I knew they meant business. I literally felt like family through the whole process of getting a rental. They were so professional, detailed and fast. They were super kind to my son who is 5 years old, my son is a very shy kid and he was running around and talking to them as if we’ve known them for years, that is what you call excellent customer service. (Not your faked smile, let me get you a bottle of water type) it was genuine. I will be using them from here on out and definitely recommending to my family and friends. I will NEVER EVER GO AGAIN THIS place. Not professional at all. I gave them 2 designers pants to get hemmed and it seems like they were done by a new sewing student. Uneven and loose stitches and shorter than what it was supposed to be. The guy does not know anything about customer service. Does not let you talk unless you stop him and speak louder. He tries to explain or justify his mistakes with many excuses. I even gave him a sample of the same pant because I own 3 of the same style in different colors, for him to get the measurements and when I showed him the sample he told me several times that those pants have the original hem from manufacturer. I had to say more than 3 times that it was altered by another person and he continued telling me that it was not! After I insisted multiple times, apparently he got convinced and he started telling me that he didnt have the type on machine that makes that type of sim. I have worked retail for 25 years and I know how important is letting the client to speak and apologize for the inconvenience. He charged me $40 for the 2 pants because I requested same day service which I agreed to pay thinking that I would have a professional work done, instead I have waisted $740. $200+$500 the pants and extra $40 for the alteration. Incredible!

T&A Formal Wear was my favorite vendor to work with for our Nov 2019 wedding! From the ease of selecting rental suits with a wide range of styles/colors to pickup they had everything under control. I highly recommend visiting them for your suit rental needs! The rental we chose included the jacket, vest, tie, pocket square, shirt, pants and shoes! The rental arrived the Monday of our wedding week and we received our call and the guys went in and right then and there at pick up they ensured everything fit properly and if something needed alterations it was done on site! I cant say enough about T&A!
The pics on the web drew me to the place. The business is in a remodeled garage in a residential area. The selection in person was not impressive. The first coat that the owner pulled out to show me was super plain and had a visible dirt stain on the lapel. 😬😑

Everywhere I called needed at least 2 days to rent but he helped me within hours of calling, even staying late to assist me. This is 100% my go-to shop for alterations, the shop is family-owned by a very kind couple that are excellent at what they do. They have hemmed my bridesmaids dresses for me for the past two years and are always so quick, efficient, and good-quality with very reasonable pricing.Just recently I had a bridesmaids dress that I realized a week out from my friends wedding was way too small and I was panicking, I took it to them and he successfully reconstructed the dress to add about 8 inches taken from the hem of the dress. My crisis was averted and he put the dress together beautifully and it made it fit perfectly well before the wedding. Honestly the best alteration shop in Orlando and Id recommend them to anyone!
Took a Davids Bridal bridesmaid dress to be altered quite a bit, since you have to size their dresses up so much.They were welcoming, professional, quick, and very flexible on timing of fittings. I had to stop in a few times, and I was always greeted with a smile.My dress fits perfectly now, and cost me a fraction of what it would if I had it done at the DB store.Would recommend - and will be returning with for other alterations when theyre needed.

My experience at T&A was amazing. I ordered a bridesmaid’s dress online, lost a ton of weight, and was stuck with a dress 4 sides bigger and a foot longer than I needed. The gentleman at T&A completely reconstructed my dress to make it fit and he did it in less than a week. The service and craftsmanship was just incredible.
Great place for formal wear. Fantastic, friendly service! I went here for my sons tux after his very last minute decision to go to the prom, and they were so helpful. We just went with a classic tux, and they had it in stock. Though we got there almost at closing they altered the suit while we waited so that I wouldnt have to make a second trip to pick it up. A very good experience, and will definitely use again if the need arises. Highly recommend, great service, nice people!
I brought an evening gown in to get altered and I ambeyond happy with the work that was done. The dress was too long with many layers and they were able to alter it perfectly. So happy with the service and I feel very comfortable bringing other dresses here to be altered.

The couple that own this place are amazingly kind, open minded and are very accommodating. They gave me a great price (300 for a week long tux rental to LA) and offered to alter on spot free of charge of I needed it the day of my flight. Both the husband and wife in charge were fast, efficient and had a good eye for what got me well and what it took to make me look sharp. Run by a very nice and humble couple they helped my friends and I get matching tuxes for a wedding. The order was placed and within three days our orders were ready for pick-up. Any alterations that are needed at that moment are done in-store. They will work with you to make sure that your needs are indeed met. Highly recommend this place!
My wedding dress was ordered from overseas. When I received it, it was about two sizes too big. I needed it to fit perfect, but one other thing, I need it done in one day. My wedding was out of state and I was leaving the next day to go to the location. Tyrone (the owner) said to come right in and have the first fitting and if he could not fix it he would find some one that could. After the first fitting he said he would call me in about five hours to have a second fitting and he would finish it up, and then I could return the next day to get my dress. I was thrilled. When I returned for the second fitting the dress fit perfect. He said, Its ready to go home with you! I cried tears of joy!!! My experience with T and A Tailoring & Alterations was excellent. He cared a lot that it was not just a dress, but my wedding dress. He did not hesitate when I needed it done in such short notice, and his price at the end of it all was amazing!!! Great prices and a great experience! My wedding dress was beautiful!

Ty did a wonderful job helping me select a tuxedo for my senior prom. He was very patient and has a great sense of style. His measurements were exact and everything fit according. He has been a tailor for over fifteen years so Im not surprised with his quality of work. Customer service was outstanding and I am very pleased that I have found this business.
T&A performs miracles!!!!!I recently moved to Orlando from New York and I agreed to be a bridesmaid. When I arrived in Orlando I discovered my dress didnt fit. I mean probably a foot of space between the zippers. I was turned down by numerous shops who opt out of such a big task either because lack of skill or lack of effort. I went out on a whim and walked into The T&A tailoring and began to beg. Tyrone gave me one look and agreed to take on the task. I was relieved. He took my measurements and explained a bit of the process so I understand the complexities of what I am requesting. Did I mention I gave him 5 days to do the task? Anyway when I picked up this bridesmaid dress it was beautiful. He altered the dress in such away you couldnt even tell. I think he went out secretly found the material because he DID an AMAZING job but I guess a good tailor never reveals his secret. I have people in New York asking me to send his business card information. He kept me informed every step of the way including him leaving his shop at midnight after finishing up...MIDNIGHT! Thats dedication. Trust me when I say, this man knows tailoring and you would cheat yourself out of a man who is committed to his job. Thank you and I hope you read this. P.s. He then helped me locate a dry cleaners & they got my wedding dress sized & steamed in plenty of time! Ill definitely be taking all my alterations there! Brought my suits to him, a couple very nice European suit. Expensive i might add. first time customer, and the gentleman in the store seemed very nice.I had to adjust the pipes of my suit pants to my length. A very easy job, so i thought. I should have known when I had to pay before he gave me the pants something was up.It was done so horrible that there was a line on the outside of these suit pants were the stitches were visible... I mean I am talking about, I could have done a better job myself and I have 2 left hands. In my head if you cant do this as a tailor... perhaps becoming a tailor was not one of your best decisions tailor man.Would not recommend this place to anybody... save money, headache, and bring them somewhere else...P.s. to close this story out, I had to have all the stitches taken out by my usual tailor and have them re do it again completely over $$ again.

I was shopping for my cousins wedding, I went to Mens Wear House first. When I got there it was busy and no one to assist me right away. I looked through a few of the books and asked how much a couple of there suits cost. it was insane how much they were asking for. A couple days later a friend of mines referred me to T&A Formal Wear. When I went into this store I was greeted. They looked through the books with me for the best possible solution. The best part was the prices was much lower. Its usually a hassle to shop for suits, but not from this place. you wont be disappointed.
I was going to let another store alter my wedding dress but I went for my 1st fitting and pretty much left the store crying wondering what I was going to do!?! I noticed this alterations store was down the road and I figured why not get a second option. Best Decision I ever made! Tyrone greeted me when I walked into the store and was super helpful and most importantly, listened to what I wanted so he could make it happen. I called Tyrone on a Sunday when he was CLOSED! He answered right away and I told him I needed to rent 2 tuxedos within 2 hours and have them delivered to my hotel about 15 mins away from his location. He said no problem and went over how I should fill out the order form and credit card authorization form. I gave him the measurements for the one tux, but the other was for myself (a woman) and I only knew my pants size. He told me no problem and brought 3 different jackets for my to try to make sure they fit.The guy was WONDERFUL to work with and went completely out of his way to help me out. He even picked the tuxes up from my hotel!Super nice guy! We need to have more businesses owners like Tyrone!!!!

Service was expectional. I had recently went to Men Warehouse where they wanted to charge $300+ for a tux rental for my wedding not everything was included. VERY BAD, Careless and SO sloppy! I gave him a jacket to alter a thumb hole and he TOTALLY RUINED IT!! Not only did he cut the sleeve on one arm TWICE, used BLACK string on a BLUE jacket and did crooked lines OmG! He didnt mention it when he called to say it was ready and when I called him on it he has the AUDACITY to ask who is going to see it? My response in shock ME THATs WHO! 😡😡😤* I am editing my previous review in order to add the following comment of recent events..After writing my review, the owner contacted me and after our conversation, he apologized for my inconvenience. He also offered to refund me the full amount payed for alteration as well as the money payed for my brand new jacket. I can say that I very much appreciated his gesture. 😌

This is in response to James Eplings review below:Please note that T&A Formal has had no involvement in the placement of the sign, recently erected at Sams Trail Plaza, stating that trucks can park at Sams Trail Plaza for $100/Hr.This decision was made by the Landlord to deter truckers from illegally parking on the property. The Landlord has high respect for truckers and their unique and crucial role in our world. However, the Landlord also has high respect for rules. It is ILLEGAL to park on private property. The Tenants in that property have been suffering for a long time, because truckers will illegally park their trucks on the property and block the visibility to the Tenants stores. Not to mention ruin the parking lot and landscaping. There have been truckers who drove over No Parking signs, chased Tenants with their trucks, and just plain ignored the Landlords No Parking signs. Truckers have been using the property as a truck stop, even though there is an official truck stop a mile away from the property.Therefore, Mr. Epling, you ask customers to boycott this business, without ever even seeing the quality of their work, and based on a completely unrelated matter. So I needed to get fitted for my best friends wedding in NYC . I walked in and was greeted by the owners and it was amazing they had everything I needed . And the measurements were done in 10 mins . After that they where able to relay that information via fax to the wedding Tailors up in NYC zeller tuxedos. The price was great just $10 bucks and I was in and out in less then 10 mins. I just want to say thanks to you t&a formal wear..
