I have brought multiple vehicles to Jeff at this location. He is always knowledgeable and professional while keeping a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. I know I can rely on his input and service without question. He also always remembers customers names, which is a good feeling. Like coming to a friend even though we only meet so often. I would happily send anyone here and know they will come back to thank me.
Without hesitation, this is THE best Pep Boys I’ve ever been to. The level of professionalism and quality work is unmatched. When the team diagnosed my issue, they didn’t just tell me, they showed it to and thoroughly explained to why it happened and how they were planning to fix. I was having a difficult time finding whitewall tires for my classic car. Jeff at my local Kirkland Washington store found 4 different brands with whitewall tires. The set I selected was delivered in a day or two.There was a slight problem with the quality of the low end tires I purchased. Jeff immediately rectified the problem.I could not be happier with the service I received and especially with Jeffs professional attitude.
Jeff is a great guy, the quality work done on my truck is appreciated and obvious. I will definitely be coming back here. It can be hard to find a mechanic you can actually trust but this is the spot. I can’t understate that.
The Pep Boys website made it super easy to set up an appointment for service. When I arrived for my appointment, a battery replacement, they were able to start working on my car right away. They performed a diagnostic to confirm the battery was the issue before changing it out, which I appreciated. The only battery they had in stock was more expensive than I was expecting but the team member, Robert, found a coupon to help keep the service within my budget. The battery replacement was fast and I really valued the customer service provided by Robert. I will be using Pep Boys for my future car needs. Thank you!

TLDR: This place rocks and is super honest.Jeff, the bearded manager at this location, is the man.He went above and beyond when servicing a used car I bought from Craigslist. I had an issue with the car that couldn’t be replicated after the first test drive performed after an oil change. After doing an alignment (extra work added over phone) he test drove the car a second time and correctly diagnosed the issue. When we realized I had no lug nut key for the rims to change the tires, he brought one from home and fixed it the next day. In a world where someone who doesn’t know cars is afraid of getting ripped off, Jeff is the answer. Oh, and this was all during the historic 100+ heatwave. Thank you to the staff for making my life a lot easier.
I went there to check my brakes, rotors & tire rotations. They were very honest about the condition of my cars and asked to come back in one year later to check again.. Thank you for the honest check-up.

Be careful when dealing with this location. We were lied to twice, I WOULD NOT trust the people who work here(12540 NE 124th St, Kirkland, WA). My husband and I called on Wednesday morning for a car battery and were told the battery was in stock, however when we drove down to the location we were told they had no such battery. He(the manager Paul) then told us he would have it here for us Monday morning from the Everett store. We call and spoke to Paul who told us he had the battery there, when my husband got there he was told the battery wasnt there and the manager had gone to get the battery!! Lies and NO REGARD for customers time!
Store is closed for absolutely no reason, no message on their answering machine. I’m glad my fleet account has other options as I will never bring my vehicle there again.Bring your workers back to work to service your customers, while there are still any of them left.

I got a flat over the weekend. I found the tires I wanted and these guys were able to get them delivered and installed same day. Best service out of all the places I called. Nathan was nice and very easy to work with.I also accidentally agreed to an alignment - this was my mistake. When I realized this after the service was performed, they recognized it was an accident and didnt charge me for it. Definitely a classy move on their part - my signature was on the quote and I was willing to accept it but they took it off. Great service and I will definitely be back and would recommend them.
The lady I checked in with was simply wonderful! Great customer service. Ive been there twice now for oil changes, and each time they have let me know nicely of (minor) things to look after, no pressure to fix anything then and there. If I do end up needing repairs, I am definitely coming here. Each person Ive interacted with seems down to earth and helpful, not trying to just get an extra buck. Great experience!Update: still an awesome place! I have an older vehicle, so theres been more recommendations for upkeep when I take it in for oil changes. Still zero pressure to rush into fixing something then and there, but Ill probably be making another appointment soon for a couple of their recommendations that I cant do at home. They have some really kind people working here! Always a good experience- this time I was only there for half an hour max! Also, I love how you can book things online super easily - Ive had zero problems with the process so far. Thats rare!!

10/10 I was previously at Toyota of Kirkland. They said I must get my brake fluid flushed or risk my safety. They told me $300... I left. Called these guys at Pep Boys: $79. Boom.Get this, I show up, they inspect the car and refuse to do it. Said the food is perfectly clean. That it would be no better eating money changing it. What amazing service! They inspected for anything else on my request and said nothing was needed. They even rotated my tires for free.At this point I literally had to look for something to buy to feel like I was supporting their team! I got some new wipers and they got a lifelong customer. Go here. Theyre car honest car doctors with your best interest at heart.
Nice customer service in person, reasonably fast oil change. Unfortunately, they practice the somewhat widespread practice of quoting one (low) walk-in price on the phone and then charging nearly double once the customer is through the door. In this instance, despite being clear on the phone that it was a 6 cylinder engine (which requires more oil), the phone quote was ~$55 and ended up being $100 + tax once on site. A quick on-the-spot discount of $20 materialized. Still disappointing, wont be back.
First time in a Pep Boys...Needed a new battery and Roman was awesome! Got me set up quickly with a new battery and also helped me with a few items for my other car. Will definitely return.
Really good service. The people who work here have always treated myself and my car well. The staff are communicative and work quickly. There have been times at other car repair shops that I have had to come back in to get my car reworked after a poorly done repair, but this has never happened here. They have great deals on tires and I have never found myself being overcharged or taken advantage of. They do the work and they do it right. Couldnt recommend the Pep Boys on 124th any more highly!

I loved the customer service at this Pep Boys. I went in for a oil change and a check up, both of which they did quickly. When they found a couple of maintenance issues they were patient and explained why each of the pieces was necessary, how they found the issue, and what the potential consequences were for fixing/ignoring the issue. They did the repairs quickly and were wonderful to interact with every step of the way.
Took 4 hours for an oil change, only one guy working the facility. Didnt complete work as stated on invoice. Love pep boys but not this time

If you get alignment done at any PepBoys location in Washington state, you car is pretty much toast. I don’t really rant too much but I had to write this down so that nobody will neither waste time or money hereI had to visit three different locations in 3 days because the alignment job they do is just a toe and go. If you know what is caster,camber, toe and steering wheel offset and you compare the values after the alignment to your stock alignment, that’s when you will understand that these guys either have no idea how to perform the alignment or they are extremely lazy.Here is my experience:1st time:Store on 85th street is Kirkland, they didn’t set the toe properly on the front wheel so the car pulled simultaneously to left and right2nd time:This this I visited the store on 124th st, there there a guy named Eric worked on car and then all the alignment values are off the charts( I means they were really off). I don’t understand how they couldn’t see the off centered steering wheel.3rd time:I thought 3rd will be the lucky charm. I was wrong again at woodenville location. They almost managed to get the alignment specs correct expect they set too much negative camber on the right front than the left front and greese on the white headliner on my car as added bonus.Did I raise a complaint with corporate: yes, they don’t seem to care lolI would never visit PepBoys ever again in my life. When I die, in my WILL, I will mention that children or grandchildren should never take my antique cars or daily driver to PepBoys. I sincerely hope PepBoys will run out of business soon.

Went to Pep boys new location to have some new tires mounted and balanced, they did so for a great price, fixed a leak in one of the rears. They even replaced my missing power steering belt free of charge. low stress and professional, would recommend

Having taken over from Big O Tire, this location continues to provide tire and auto services. I took a slow leak tire in the other day, they did extensive diagnostics, and charged me nothing. Should that slow leak turn into a fast leak, Im taking my business to Pep Boys.

I went in to buy windshieled wiper blades. They had a bunch of Rain-X brand with sale stickers on them, some single blades which looked to be rear blades, and some that had two blades packaged separately but bundled together with a rubber band and priced with a single sale sticker. I wasn’t sure if it was a good deal, so I googled the blades and found a similar price package at a nearby Walmart that included one rear blade and two front blades, Rain-x brand, for $35. This pricing seemed similar so I purchased the blades. The clerk offered to install them, and tried to. Front blades were installed but he removed my old rear blade and then told me he couldn’t intall the rear blade because my wiper attachment was damaged.I got home and opened my email reciept and found that I had been charged 21.99 for EACH front blade, and 16.99 for the rear blade, for a total of $61 for blades that were supposedly on sale. I called to ask if this was correct and was told that it was.Idiotic and misleading display and packaging, and not very good service if they can’t even put my original wiper blade back the way it was before I came in.I got a tire estimate as well, which was really high compared to other estimates. The guy tried to make me think my tires were about to blow which simply is not true.Will be sticking with Les Schwab.

They dont honour appointments booked online; I had to wait 1.30 hrs just to get them take a look at my brakes, even if I had a confirmed appointment.But I noticed people just walked in with flat tires and got them fixed.At the end, they gave a honest opinion though!

Never coming here again. Reasons:1. Workers that day had one worker impersonate the store manager to make us feel we got a discount.2. One of the workers or all that day went through my glove box. We came back to the car seeing its content rearranged and they forgot to clean up after rummaging through it because it was on the side of my seat.Workers present that day per work order summary: Robert Scott, David Munson and unknown additional mechanic.I originally came in wanting an oil change. We greeted David - this employee lacks customer service-and told him what we wanted. He said the store manager today, who was actually Robert Scott NOT Nick Chadwell, gave us a discount and decided not to charge us labor. Everything was explained in a disorderly manner. He then tried to sell us more services because my transmission fluid wasnt red enough. I told him that is ok. He then argued my engine might combust. I said Im not worried about it-i knew this was a market ploy. Thanks Id rather risk it-go to a different mechanic the next day than pay 400 that day.
Went by today and was helped with my tire patch. Everyone was extremely nice and i was on my way home before i knew it, thank you!!!!
Dirty and disgusting lobby. Terrible customer service. Overpriced. My story.... was towed from 405 with my little one. It was scary being on the side of the freeway with a small child. The scheme is they offer $50 To tow your vehicle to they’re shop. I amA single mom, this seemed like my only option at the time to get us safe, Took 5-10 minutes to acknowledge we were even there. The lobby was unorganized and a dirty disaster. The man behind the counter finally greeted me like I was a nuisance.... told him the trouble I had with my car and IAsked when they could look at it. Rudely, he said well not today. Maybe a few days. I thanked him and handed him the keys and found a ride home. I called a few days later and was told it was $1200 and someChange to repair my fuel pump and do an oil change. Thankfully, I called several neighboring shops and was quoted more than half the price of what they were going to charge me. I called again the next day and told him I couldn’t afford the repairs and wanted to pay the tow charge of $50 as a friend was goingTo tow it to another location for me. He said ok. Well your total is $197 something. What!! I was only told it was $50 to tow it 3 miles. He told me they charged extra to look at it. $150 to look at it?! Seriously! MyMom came to my rescue and helped pay it soThey would release my car.... when she called to pay it he charged even more. We are now up to $212.47....never. I will never do business with pep Boys. I will share this review and all the other bad Reviews with my 5000 friends on fb, my family,My friends and my customers. Do not do business here!!!! If I had the option I would do zero stars. Lady to lady, mom to mom. Stay away from pepBoys and good luck with your vehicle.
Great deals on tires, also recieved my replacement mirror fairly quickly.
My wife had an emergency and limped into the parking lot. Nick quoted 1113$ for a new radiator and parts and labor. That seemed high, so I called a few places, another Pep Boys quoted 700$ and several others, even lower.I called back and asked why there was a huge discrepency and was told by Nick thats the number I came up withMuffler King down the street did the work for 490$.Shame on you Nick, it sure feels like you tried to take advantage of us.
Crooks and dishonest business. They trick you in paying more for a service and do not honor warrenty.
I got my car there for overheating issues and paid 400$ for it and after couple weeks started overheating again, I went to Auto zone and they stated that it is the same problem that happened before so i went back to them and asked them to re fix it and they said that they will but with other 500$, they are cheaters my advice to not let them working on your car take somewhere else.
I have been told $29 to do the oil change, but when I pay I had to more than double because extra charges they never disclose when you ask how much, it is kind of cheating...
