This store has done a SEVERE turn around and I love it! The selection is much better, the employees are all so nice and helpful. Only downer would be the bathroom not being up to par. But who uses public restrooms anyway? Lol.

$1000 is how much I paid for a sectional and when my husband went back to pick it up they said NO because he didnt have the receipt and they cant look it up? Really?? After speaking with the manager she said The employee was only following protocol... So, I stated if someone doesnt have the receipt then Just ask for ID, the date of purchase, which sectional did I buy and look it up? POOR MANAGEMENT doesnt even know how to manage; they only ASSume that people are up to no good..well I sold my townhouse in Las Vegas June 3rd and netted over $100K...SO NEXT TIME DONT ASSume just call your poor manager... instead of saying NO...SMH😬☹👎👎👎👎Tracey Jones, MS(2), BS, AAS, ATA

I brought a living room set from here and had to call my two sons to come all the way from were i stay to come put it on my truck lady that work there said they dont load stuff any more well i think i will be geting my stuff from some were else i paid 700.00 for that set if they cant help load it they will not get that much money from me any more

I purchased a couch easily. Marcus was a champ. He loaded the couch with no effort. The store was bright and clean.

Great store and great prices. This is one of my favorite stores however, there should be more than one cash register open, especially when there are long lines and plenty of employees there. Speaking of many employees, the staff is great! The only issue is that there are too many employees standing around not doing much, but wont dare open up a second register with the exception of the holidays. Also, when purchasing snacks, drinks or food products, please be careful to check the expiration date. Sometimes biglots dont stock fresh products. I cant tell you the countless times when I have purchased some chips and other items and the expiration date has passed. Some products should be discounted even more since there are items that are bashed in with minor damage. There are some electronics and cooking items/products that are defective. One time I brought my relative a deep fryer and it only lasted 2-3 weeks. The deep fryer split in the middle when she was cooking. There are dust on some on the products. Other than all I stated, the store is still great and is one of my favorite places to shop at in this town :).

Store was super clean. The girl at the register talked a lot. She liked every item we bought and said she may buy some. She said she needed some dog food and we told her that sure enough they carried two sizes of that brand. I think we taught her something new which is good. I dont think their lots are all that big but you cant fault an individual location for that. Anyway, this BL is nice and clean and the girl at the register was nice and also clean.

Nice thing are offered and prices competitive and thank for the rent-to- own offered. I paid off my items in less than month with no problems. However, please fix your spyware on the laptop so customers can read the full contact before signing they have read the contract when your system will not allow and your employees in department have one to allow to read and do not fully now the rules. The reason I stated this is when I ask could this contract be paid off in less than a month your employees state no and the company employees when call stated it could be paid off without any problems in three months but my was paid in less than a month. Now I owe nothing! Thank you for this option!

I want to give a big thanks to Kim at the Big Lots in Kinston, NC. Kim went above and beyond customer service. I ordered a bed from this store. I moved into my new home and misplaced the screws for my bed. I called Kom and she went to work for me. She was able to get in touch with the company and order the hardware for me. Kim went above and beyond her position. Thank you Kim for all that you do.

Love Big lots!! Kinston store has more furniture, Goldsboro store has less furniture but large selection of cleaning supplies, great prices on Bathroom tissue, paper towles. Laundry detergent etc. Both have bed sheet sets that are of fair to good quality.
