A fantastic store with very experienced individuals, any question I have they have an answer and recommendations. Ive been shopping here for over 7 years and they have the best prices I can find anywhere but especially on high quality brushes. I only wish there were more sketch book and paint brand varieties. But you can order anything they dont have in the store which is very convenient! 👩‍🎨

I recently had a piece reframed at Catskill Art and Office Supply. I not only am thrilled with the result, I was really impressed with how the whole process worked. Ginny was the one who helped me. She was a total professional and patient with me and my finicky piece of art. I will bring all of my framing work to them in the future! Worth every penny!

This is the local artist or writers best friend. They have excellent discounts for students and old customers, and its easy to email print jobs to them. Even for a (local) monopoly, theyve continued to serve the artistic community well for the twenty-five years or so that Ive been a customer.

I probably shop here on an almost weekly basis, and always have a good experience. The staff is really great, the selection is good, and the prices are competitive and often beat the local chain art store. Specifically, Amanda, in graphics in Kingston has been sooooo helpful on many projects. Most recently, she rescued a brochure I designed that wasnt working. Shes very patient, even with the most minute details, and my brochure looks great. THANKS!

This is a great local art supply shop with a really knowledgeable staff and a full inventory of basic and specialty art tools and supplies.If you stop by and find the storefront empty and the doors locked, do not despair- they recently relocated the business to a more accessible location.

Best place in town to get print copies, hands down. Good people, fair prices, quick turnaround, and quality printing.

A couple of years ago I ordered a lot of note cards with photos of original artwork. The quality and price right on target. I was asked to review a sample of all the photos before accepted.Fast forward..picked up another large order, took it all home for a better look with a family member. To my surprise most were inferior considering that they charge for every ounce of work. Oh by the way they lost the previous scanned photos when their computer crashed. The reason why I wont be back ? They were going to charge me for redoing because I left the store and then came back. They lost a good customer. Poor customer service for sure.

This place was amazing. I had to get my husbands anniversary gift on traditional linen. Nobody could help me until I went to catskill Art in Kingston . They not only did it perfectly and affordably but also the staff were all awesome. Everyone I dealt with that day went out of their way to help me. Amanda was the friendly, helpful and cheerful . I could of never got exactly what I wanted if it wasnt for her.

I love this art supply store so much ! they have a fabulous variety of professional art supplies and offer absolutely wonderful specialized service. They sell paper I by the roll, uncut matt board, every ink nib you can think of, beautiful pencils by each and so much more !!! they also have custom large format painting and a full custom framing section!!!

Expensive and not friendly place to shop.store looks unorganized

I had terrible service at Catskill Art Supply. After spending thousands on framing, the work was completely unprofessionally done. One of the frames was scratched. Another one had the work fall within the frame due to incorrect hinging--I had to fix it myself. And when I arrived with a truck to pick up the work for my NYC exhibition it was not ready on time although promised on that date and time a month before. I waited 2 and a half hours for it to be finished, causing me to arrive exceedingly late to my gallery to install my show. When I complained to the owner and asked for any kind of compensation he told me he couldnt figure out a price to compensate me for so would not compensate me at all!I recommend you go elsewhere for your framing needs in the Hudson Valley and NOT use Catskill Art Supply.

Ive been going to Catskill Art & Office for decades, and still am going, even though I live in another town with its own art supplies stores. Their framing is the best, and Ginny is a great framer.

Its a beautiful place and inspires me to make beautiful things.

I understand its intense sometimes to get people to help but its such a big store, its worth to wait a sec, and there product list is super extensive with some of the rarest products that we need as artists, well worth the visit !
