I had the opportunity to work on a project in Kingsport with Prendergast Construction Company several years ago. I had a chance to tour the addition they were adding to the home and the renovations they were doing throughout other parts of the house. The design and attention to detail were amazing. Prendergast is a great company with great people who take great pride in their work!

Mr. Prendergast and his team are on a different level intellectually and technically than any other remodeling contractor weve used in this area, You get a detailed estimate, a written contract, and they follow through on every punch list item. Bob personally checks in regularly but his team is so terrific, it hardly seems necessary. If you need a mailbox set or a simple updating of bathroom fixtures, there are lots of great people for that. If, however, you have a complicated problem that needs to be fixed correctly the first time (our issue) OR a full redesign of a kitchen/bath with high-end fixtures (our dream), you need Prendergast.

Master bathroom and bedroom remodel in Nov/Dec 2015. Starting with the quote process, Bob Prendergasts experience and attention to detail were notable. While his quote was higher than some others, it included lots of items not included in those others but, on reflection, would obviously be needed. Everything was explained and on paper before any work was done. The crew was polite, friendly and very skilled. Clean-up happened at the end of every day. After the first few days, they were even greeting our dog by name in the mornings. The quality of the work from the carpentry to the electrical and plumbing to the tile and finishing work was excellent. We would absolutely choose Prendergast again and recommend them to anyone who wants a job done efficiently and very, very well.
