In the process of running numbers after choosing the car we wanted they accidentally sold the car we were just about to buy. They say miscommunication but how do we make it more clear about the car we wanted and not only that- they ran numbers for the wrong car. Another sales person asked for keys while we were in the office speaking to the sales rep but I was positive it wasn’t about the car we were in the process of buying. We got there at 10am and left at 3pm just for them to say sorry we sold the car you wanted.

I would urge anyone to shop around before visiting.They hold true to the tactic of holding you hostage as to wear you out while they calculate numbers. I waited three hours to get a quote on a buy out for my used car and their offer was 3k below what three other places offered me. The other places only took 15-30 mins. I asked another family that looked visibly tired how long they had been there, all day, they said. Car buying experiences shouldnt be this way. They want our $ more than we need them.-This place is also known for allowing young soldiers and families to be tied into contracts that are way out of their credit limit, binding them to vehicles they can not afford.Find a place with some integrity. There are 40+ dealerships in this area... be wise with your $$

Our car buying experience at Automax has always been amazing, but Automax VW was outstanding! Tristen was able to help us narrow down exactly what we wanted in our budget, answered all our questions in detail, and he did it with a VERY appreciated laid-back approach! My Name is Karen and I’m writing from my husband’s google account. I am absolutely thrilled that we bought from this dealership! We looked all over to find a VW Atlas SE in our area but ended up finding one 5 hours away in Killeen. We live in west Texas so it was a drive to get there and we committed to the drive because Marissa worked the numbers and deal out over the phone the day before we left so that when we got there we just signed papers. The following day was her day off so “Tony” (Anthony) helped finish out the sale and honored all Marissa’s work on our car. Horrible service I have called multiple times because my tags are expired and need more temporary ones and every time I call I am told they are not available and there is nothing anyone can do about my tags or to leave a message for a call back which I never seem to receive. If my tags arent in then I need to get temporary ones and I have no problem waiting but the fact I get the same run around is frustrating and bs. It has been over a week lets do better people!

The service here has really gone down since I bought my car. They have been charging different prices for me and my wife. They have been slower and less forthcoming with information. There service and sales people are less friendly then they were only a short time ago.

What an incredible experience. I flew in from out of state to pick up a truck from them. G Choe was my salesman and went out of his way to pick me up from the airport at 11PM and take me to get something to eat after a day of flying and then picked me up from the hotel in the morning. I went in to get my last free oil change that comes with the new VW purchase. I was told my appointment would be at 10:30. I parked under the area but was not acknowledged. I walked around for 15 minutes to see who I needed to speak with about my car. The older lady behind the plastic shield was reading a magazine I said hello twice to get her attention but nothing at all. So I went back and stood at my car and a lady Briyada checked me in. After taking my keys a few moments later she came out and said I needed to sign some paperwork to give them permission to change the oil onmy car and also that I needed my tires rotated which would be an additional $20 today. I looked at her and said I’ve never paid for the tire rotation before it had me questioning were my tires even rotated the last time she said she was not aware. But when I looked on the website it says that their tire rotations are free so I was confused as to why they would be charging me $20. I reached out to some people while I was waiting to let them know that they were charging me for the tire rotation and they also bought their cars from there and they said that they should not be charging me because it is included with an oil change. I believe this is wherever you go and if I’m not mistaken even when I used to go to QuickLube before I had my Jetta I never was charged for a tire rotation they always automatically did it. She said she would look on the website to see if there was any coupons to give me the discount on the $20 but here is my thing on the website it is free there’s no charge for a tire rotation and it should be included in the oil service so why put a charge on there and then deduct it when it shouldn’t have been on there at all now I’m questioning did they rotate my tires on the first oil change which they probably didn’t. I would not recommend the service to others just because they tried to charge me and the service shouldn’t have been charged to begin with. I’ll take my service elsewhere.

Soo I normally buy car from private buyers because I normally hear bad things (like most people) about dealership buying. Raymond Castillo Jr. was hands down the best salesman I’ve ever worked with. I purchased the 2021 Jetta R-line when all I really wanted to do was test drive one. Raymond was relaxed, knowledgeable and made this a smooth non-stressful experience. I started the purchase process at about 20 minutes to closing and everyone was perfectly fine, no one acted like it was hardship to be there late even though I know it was. The finance department were excellent and were able to find a loan w/ a better interest rate than what I had been pre approved for. This was all in all the best car buying experience I’ve had to date. I highly recommend them.

I do not like the customer service levels here. The wait times are very long and no one updates you unless you ask them for some updates after hunting them down by asking a number of people where we can get information about the status of my vehicle. One of the times when I came here to get my windshield wiper checked out .. they told me the bolt was stripped and they’d order one for me to replace.. well to this day no one has called me and the two-three times I called they are clueless and don’t offer anything further than an “I don’t know because the guy who might have helped you isnt here “. I also needed to utilize my tire road hazard coverage... get this.. they told me I didn’t have any coverage. Well I had the documents stating that I did and I didn’t want to argue... so I took my happy self down to Discount tire and got my tire replaced using the coverage that I supposedly didn’t have. The receptionist also asks 100 questions even when you tell her exactly who you’d want to be transferred to. I now drive 45mins to Georgetown for my services and any needs for my vehicle and I’m glad I do.

Best experience overall. Trustworthy and down to earth make sure you ask for Marissa Bogart! Anything would be a disservice to you!

The only reason I am leaving 1 star is because I have to. I would NEVER do business with this dealership. ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE MILITARY!!!! The only thing this dealership does is put people in more of a financial bind. We traded in a vehicle and it’s been almost 60 days, the dealership has yet to pay off the trade-in. We’ve been to the dealership several times to see why the trade-in hasn’t been paid off. After speaking with our lawyer we were advised to request our vehicle back. When we requested our trade-in back from the dealership since we still own it, the dealership told us that they wholesaled the vehicle and no longer have it. Essentially wholesaling a vehicle that ABSOLUTELY does not belong to them since they have yet to pay it off. They also said they can not give out the information as to where the vehicle is. We called Volkswagen to pay the first payment, they have no record of us purchasing the vehicle. Now Automax wants us to make payments to them and they will process the payment for the new car loan. We are still having to make payments on the trade-in because they haven’t paid it off. No one can give us answers or make anything happen. I know several other service members that are in this same situation with this SAME DEALERSHIP. This has been the absolute worst car buying process I’ve ever been through. Automax should be on Fort Hood’s blacklist for sure!

Do not go to this service center!! I came in late October on a Saturday to have my 2019 VW Tiguan oil change. When I drove to work on Monday my oil light came on stating I had low oil. I immediately called my service representative.I had to purchase oil to get me home since my oil stick registered zero oil in my tank. I returned my car for a engine check (since I drove with no oil) and I was told at that time I would be reimbursed for my original oil change charge and the 4 quarts I had to purchase to get myself home. They kept my car for an additional day servicing it, I was told accounting would reimburse me with a check because they couldn’t reverse the charge on my credit card. After two weeks with no call or refund I called the service manager. A new service manager was in charge and stated he would “research” the issue. After a week with no response I went into the service dept and spoke to the service manager. I was told again that he needed more time and would contact me in 5 days. It’s been another week with no call, no refund, nothing. I am now giving up on this service center. I am giving up on their promise to make it right and will take my business elsewhere as should you.

I bought a car here and when they were going to get me it took more than two hours to do it. first they told me they were going to clean it, then they were going to put gasoline on it. The worst thing was that I was walking in the dealer and nobody came to tell me if everything is alright. very bad service

Overall rating 5 stars because Automax/ Killeen is that good.When I arrived the customer service rep, took care of me, had me sit in the very lovely, clean waiting room, the service department is always through, efficient & top mechanics, they are fast also, I was in & out.Also, salesman Anthony, very knowledgeable & polite, I am a 66 year old woman & explained all the questions I asked, that’s why in August/ September 2021, I will purchase a 2022 from Anthony, I love VW, you can’t beat German ingenuity, have owned 3 in my lifetime & Automax/Killeen is the place for sales & service, not just saying this, it’s the truth.Satisfied customer

My experience at Automax VW was outstanding! My 2017 Bug has had an on going issue with the driver side window, not closing completely. Grant at Automax has been patient & kind thru this experience. Today they did my yearly service & replaced the window motor. Thank you for the 5 star service!
