Cullen and his team at Modern Appliance helped us outfit our new house with all new appliances and we couldn’t be happier with the selection they suggested based on the criteria we provided (preferences, functionality, and price) or the service we received while having them delivered. The gentlemen that did delivery each time were polite, professional, and treated our home with care while moving big appliances through it. Highly recommend this place..needed compressor relay switch for my Kenmore fridge. Parts mangager recommended a 3 in 1 universal saving me at least 30 bucks. Simple instructions on the package made installation quick on I know have a functioning fridge again. Thanks guys!

Folks this a 3rd or 4th generation small family business that has MORE integrity and honesty than most people most people have in their whole body. They have taken care of the appliance needs for Killeen for decades. Pillar of our communityWouldnt buy anywhere else..Period

Ive bought a fridge and a cook top here and had wonderful experience! They are knowledgeable, kind and fast (I was in and out in less then 10 mins). Their prices are far below anywhere else around here...I will get all my appliances here!

Great customer service! I was searching multiple stores for hours for a washer and dryer. I gave them a call within 5 minutes I received a email of all the products they had in stock. I applied for approval before I went to the store. Once I arrived I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Defiantly recommend this small local business vs these large corporate stores that don’t have anything in stock and kept customers waiting for hours. It was the worst experience I ever had trying to make a purchase. But once I arrived to modern appliance I was taken care of in 10 minutes. Appreciate it so much!

My husband and I were repairing our double oven and they worked with me to figure out what part was needed even though it couldn’t be identified in the official parts manual. Their technical expert is very knowledge and knows his stuff. They also do repairs. Highly recommend! Super helpful and kind staff.

Let me post something about why Im giving this business a 5 star review. My family rents a house out in Killeen and the day before I was leaving town there was a problem with the oven and I had to replace it right then that day. I tried every store in town, Lowes Home Depot Best Buy were all sold out of inventory and refused to sell the display model on the floor, the places down on Rancier were all over priced, worst of all was Conns Home Plus in Killeen who lied and said they had the oven i wanted in stock but then said I had to drive to Waco to pick it up, thats not In Stock, and when I asked if they would deliver they wanted to take almost $100 more from me to solve my problem, Conns Home Plus didnt care about anything but squeezing every penny possible out of me. But when I got to Modern Appliance they had the lowest price on the same oven, they had 2 of them IN STOCK (that means it was actually there at that store, Conns, take notes) and best of all when I said we could pick it up they voluntarily OFFERED ME a discount that i didnt even ask for and offered me the model on the sales floor because they wanted to make sure I got exactly the one we liked! The entire visit to Modern Appliance took only 8 minutes from the time I walked in the store to the time I left with the receipt in my hand. Great place, amazing. It reminded me of those appliance stores you would go to with your parents 30 years ago as a kid, and it would be a small, local owned shop, run by people who would really listen and really care enough to try.Im happy to support Modern Appliance through my business and through this review. Lifetime customer here

Excellent service! I have dealt with Modern Appliance for years and they have proven to deliver time and time again. I order quite a few appliances being in property management but the service you get here is unmatched in the area. Lowes and Home Depot dont come close to their fast delivery, great customer service and all around knowledge of all things appliance. I will be using Modern for a long time to come. Thanks guys!

Great prices, and extremely helpful over 4 years and 5 properties. These folks are APG Property goes to buy or service all its appliances. Warning, you may have to wait for items that are ordered as they come from overseas. Just know that going in on repairs, but that isnt their fault. It just is what it is. The bottom line is the prices are right and the service is as good as any other you will find. I recommend them to property managers and home owners.

They are lucky I am REQUIRED to give at least one star. The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. After missing our installation appointments, they gave us the run-around for several days before getting to us. Finally, they installed our dishwasher completely out of housing code standards and left a huge mess in my kitchen. When i called to have them come fix it, they told me they would not deal with me & that I needed to call my property manager. I would never recommend this lousy, pathetic, lazy, unprofessional, trashy and worthless appliance company to anyone, ever. I hope they close up shop.

We bought our house in Dec of 2013 and as a condition of the contract the sellers agreed to buy new appliances for the home. Modern TV and Appliance delivered the new fridge with the stove, dishwasher and microwave vent hood but had to put a loaner fridge in because the original one was too large for the space. The loaner fridge had dents and scratches in the door and on the side and one of the covers that went over the light bulb was melted. They told us that they had to order the correct fridge in and it would take a few weeks.After about a month and a half we called our realtor and let them know that they still have not delivered our fridge. After about another month or so we decided to call Modern TV & appliance and ask them what the delay was thinking that the realtor may have forgot. They told us that the fridge was still on the way and not to worry about it they would call us when it came in. After about another month - month and a half and still no fridge we physically went down to their store and checked in with them. We were told that the fridge was ordered but still had not came in.Knowing that we really were not getting any ware with the actual company we went back to the realtor and told them what was going on. They too apologized and said that they would makes some calls and get to the bottom of it. We let a couple of months pass by and we went down to the store again with similar results. Over the next few months we played phone tag with both the realtor and Modern TV but no results so we let it go for quite some time.Finally about a year and a half after we closed on the house I went back into the store and the spoke once again to the owners son. Right from the beginning he stated that he remembered me coming in and said that he thought that the matter had already been resolved. Just after he told me that they would not be able to replace the fridge anymore as we waited so long to say anything about it. He told me the best they could do is replace the dented door for us. After reminding him that we had contacted him several times over the last year and a half and also that he himself stated that he remembered me coming in he said he would look into it.After another two weeks of waiting with no call I got fed up and called down and got ahold of one of the owners of the realtors office. He assured me that he would get to the bottom of things and make some phone calls to make it happen. After just a few days we received a phone call from the realtor and told us that he got it all straitened out and that all we needed to do is call down and make the arrangements for delivery.Long story I know but it is strange to think that this company would give so much flack to replace the fridge as it was paid in full over a year before. They kept suggesting that my wife and I were being unreasonable as the biggest dent was in the fridge door. My point is this, they were paid for a new fridge not a discounted scratch and dent fridge. Why would they even suggest that I keep a fridge which was clearly damaged and treat my wife and I as if we are an inconvenience on them for wanting what was paid for and what they told us numerous times was on the way? As far as I am concerned this type of behavior is inexcusable and despicable and I will never do business with them nor will I recommend this business to anyone else.

They sent jack out to our new Purser home in Killeen yesterday after testing the above rang microwave, came up with it venting as it should... Paper falling down to the rang 3or 4 times before it would be held by the lack of suchsion . They stand by thier projuct even when the manufacture says system not working as intended. Go to Home Depot or Lowes.Products they placed in home are not even offered on thier show room floor or webSite.

Horrible and unprofessional! They had our washer for 2 1/2 months for repair and the only communication was when my husband called. Everytime the excuse was we are waiting on a part. We finally get it back today after paying them almost $350 to fix it and the door latch is broken off inside the washer leaving it useless! I am beyond mad and would NEVER recommended their services! SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!! I dont know how they have stayed in business so long if this is how they treat people! My family has been in Killeen for 4 generations and this is NOT A way to keep customers or do business!

These people are shady!!! I made a service repair appointment and was told I would receive a call 30 minutes prior to someone coming. I called them to say no one had shown and not to send anyone. They hung up in my face. Steer clear!!!!
