Thank you for the help with the batteries today. If you have items that arent energy intensive (remotes, Led candles, etc), it makes more financial sense to purchase batteries here instead of other places. Store was empty at 10 am, so might be a good time to go if you are trying to avoid the crowds.

I really love Dollar General. They have some good items. But there is not a store in town that isnt trashed except for the Beavercreek location.

Too many people in the store during Covid. Never enough cashers on duty. But the 2 cashes working were friendly and trying their best.

While a good spot for cheap goods, they dont have much on the shelves at times.

Nice place to go for a few items. The clerk on duty was relatively polite. My only concern is that he wasnt paying attention to see who was in the store and keeping up with things. He seemed a bit preoccupied.

This place really needs some help. The floors are dirty, boxes all over the place, shelves are empty and disorganized. The owner needs to get some extra help to get it in shape.

Dollar General was nasty and disgusting. Shelves empty, merchandise scattered all over the floors in totes and boxes where you have to dig through them. Shouldve been on the shelves

The one I went to was close on Stroup the now close at 5pm

The hours are wrong everytime I come here they are closed . They now close at five last month I came they were close at four this is by far the worst store I have been in the employees are rude and they are never open ever how do they stay in business I wont be back.

Cashier wouldnt honor the price an item was ringing up for in the app, then I saw a cockroach on the way out. Gross.

Older lady with the bad upper denture and long gray hair wore her mask under her chin. Came in from smoking, never washed her hands and touched her face then my bags the entire scan. This place is a COVID HOTSPOT.

Very few things in the store and very disorganized.

People there are very friendly.. great for some good deals and a quick in and out if u want to avoid the hustle of bigger stores. It can get crowded at times though.

Love Dollar General. Good variety of items. Great for quick dash in and out when you dont want to be go to the mega store.

Typical discount store. A bit close between rows, but has good bargains. They have limited clothing, and just a little bit of everything

The staff here, while mostly friendly and very helpful, are not very..... Diligent.You can usually find one outside smoking any time you go by, and usually while ringing you up, they are talking on the phone (not work related).There will be a line of 6 people, one person at the register, two stocking shelves and one outside smoking.Its like a mini Wal-Mart.

Look, this place is nothing fabulous,. but if you need a few quick things, you cant beat this Dollar General. They have pretty much anything and everything you need, plus more. The staff is also very nice and easy-going.

This store is a complete disaster. Nothing is in any kind of order, they did not have a current sale paper available to view, only outdated ones. No sale signs at all on the items that were on sale. I had to continue to use my phone to view the ad and coupons. Very unorganized and messy. The one upside was the gentleman at the checkout. He was very professional and friendly.

Usually get in and out in a timely manner..Since the pandemic though they have been understaffed. However this is true of most all of the businesses in the area have the same problem. But they pay overtime to keep their doors open. This location closes three hours early with customers walking up only to have to walk away. So this causes people that need a few items have to go to Meijer or Kroger (which are huge) for just a few items that this store can supply. A large inconvenience from a conscience store.

Only carry bulk of essentials...anything else out of.... save yourself the trouble of GOING here 9 xs out of 10 you will have to go elsewhere to get everything at once.

I wish I could give 0 stars. The cashier was on the phone loudly complaining about another coworker the entire time she cashed out customers. She only spoke to me to give me the total, and didnt bother to put the phone down.

Low inventory. Store dirty looking. Used to be a good place to shop. Looks run down.

Convenient with a nice calm atmosphere. The only downside here is that it is under staffed and you can find yourself waiting at the checkout for awhile.

I needed items for serving Cake and Cupcakes and I asked where I could find 5 items he told me where I could find them and that was exactly where they were. I was thrilled !

Im number 11 in line. Waiting. Employees nowhere. Not in stock room or anything. Someone FINALLY walks inside from outside. They were taking a smoke break. Two people at once, with a store full of people. As a former assistant manager of family dollar I know how unacceptable that is!!! I will continue to tell people to avoid this store and I live MAYBE 30 steps away.

Why are these stores so cluttered? I love them but they are always cluttered down isles. And sometimes the attitudes are not the best.

Lavonna doesnt know how to run her store the shelfs are never stocked you cant walk down one aile without a box in your way... She comes to work looking like an unmade bed

Stopped in to get some birthday balloons and they are out of helium they told us to check nextdoor the people at the party place were nice and probably would fill them for us they wanted $6 per balloon they were larger balloons... but really $6 each and dont sell your customers balloons if you dont have any helium to fill them

I love the Dollar General store. But i have to say since this visit and the one last night, this store is getting more dirty and messy. They dont pick up nor does it look like its cleaned up. I understand putting stock up but theres stock all over the place. Not just a few boxes here and there theres over 100 boxes without a doubt!! Even seasonal stuff. Valentines was 2 weeks ago.. Management dont seem to care! Its a shame. New Carlisle dont have a lot of options to shop so you would think they would care!
