The services performed by this business are awesome! They can fix anything and at a reasonable price! They are also the most honest mechanics I have ever met. My mother-in-law thought she needed new breaks so we scheduled her an appointment with them to have them replaced. Shortly after giving them the keys to her car, they informed her her breaks were still good and she did not need to replace them at this time. How AWESOME is that!!!!

My Mazda 3 was in need of replacement axles and wheel bearings on the front of the vehicle. I almost decided to replace the vehicle after being quoted over $1,600 by another shop considering the fact that it is a 2005 model. Thankfully I went with a second opinion from Triad Import Specialists!My quote from Derek was less than half of what the other local import repair shop had quoted. Derek did his absolute best in providing me with a timely repair at a great value! Providing a warranty for the work is also a plus!I have taken this vehicle to other shops that are highly suggested by others and have always had a horrible time getting honesty due to the fact that it can be difficult to service the vehicle considering it currently is equipped with an ignition interlock aka “blow and go”.I would highly suggest Triad Import Specialists for any repairs you may need! Trustworthy and proved the Honda dealership was not..! Dealership claimed I had a major O-ring leak from the oil pump on 2012 Odyssey and would cost 1K to repair. Brought it to TIS for a second opinion. TIS checked it at no charge. Let me know the leak was so minimal that I could drive it for a long time and never have a problem and said theyd monitor it at every oil change. If they did need to repair it in the near future it would be at least $400 less than the dealership. TIS found another leak at a different location that the dealership did not. TIS said it was also very minimal and the van could go a long time with no issue. TIS cleared me for my road trip from NC to FL. I had to beg TIS to at least let me tip them for their time. I put the $20 tip on the counter and ran out the door so they couldnt refuse a tip. TIS is trustworthy. I will continue to take my van to TIS and never return to a rip-off, crooked Honda dealership. Bring your Honda to TIS for expert advice, repairs, maintenance, all at a very reasonable price. Thank you TIS!

They fixed problem as requested yet did additional repair without authorization at extra charge. Had to wait to pick up my vehicle until my wife got off work so she could help tag team drive two vehicles. Then found lights on my car had been left on so battery was totally dead. This after they had closed Friday not to reopen until Monday. Took forever to get a jump start since I absolutely needed the car the next day. Unlikely to return.

Even though theyre always busy, they take the time to tell you exactly what work is needed and why.You get what they tell you youll get, you pay what they said you would pay, and the work is done when they say it will be done. In my experience, this is a hard combination to find. Englebert recommended TIS years ago when I needed a timing belt replaced on the Odyssey. Ive been taking my Odyssey and Passport there ever since and have always been satisfied.

Triad Import Specialists have been servicing both of my Honda cars for the past 3 years. I only have great things to say about their service, honesty, and craftsmanship. In the past Ive dealt with dealerships, other smaller garage shops, after hours mechanics. Not that I had problems with these guys. The dealerships are too far away, and sometimes costly, smaller garage shops only do the routine mechanical items; after hour mechanics are good if you can schedule an emergency within 2 weeks notice. Overall, Triad Import Specialists are hard to beat when it comes down to service and price. Ive also referred friends in the past, they also had great experience with Derek and his crew.

Was not impressed. Dropped car off at 6:30 am after setting this up 2 days prior (was even told the 2 times that parts were delivered each day) & had to call around 2:30 for an update. Was told they hadnt had time to look at my car yet by the receptionist Haley, then told by Derek they needed at least an hour more to look at it but still wouldnt be able to do what may be needed done today because they wouldnt be able to get the parts & I would have to bring it back anyway if I chose to have it done. Needless to say, I went to pick my car up & received a call back from Derek later stating Haley overheard my friend mention Google reviews & he wanted to make sure I was happy. I told him I really wasnt & that id never taken my car anywhere before & had that happen. Then he proceeded to tell me how Jason had actually looked at it, spending an hour on it, what he pays him per hour, that he did do an adjustment on my wipers & how that hour wasnt charged to me. Was told too many different things & that brought up a red flag. Would not go back.
