This place is extremely over-priced. I know as a female that Im not knowledgeable about cars but being quoted $794.73 to fix a radiator HOSE is outrageous. I hope I can help out another female by posting this. I had to go to Forsyth Auto to get it fixed at a more reasonable price.

I took my car earlier this week, just speaking to David on the phone relieved me! He was so kind and took the time to listen to my car issues. We took the car in and within hours they called back to say it was ready! I would say they are very affordable, convenient location, and friendly staff. I will recommend them to my family as well.

We are new to Kernersville. I have been battling on ongoing issue for months! NTB diagnosed one problem, made a repair, but claimed all was good even though the vehicle kept running rough, battery not holding a charge, and check engine light/VTM-4 light constantly coming on. After repeat trips to NTB with no success it was time to find another repair shop. I found Genuine Care Care Center on Google and was a little skeptical with the amount of positive reviews. Nowadays, a company with that many positive reviews just seems odd to me, but I called and scheduled a drop off. Told them to keep it as long as they need, just please find out what is wrong. Explained the NTB drama. Not long after it was dropped off, they called and told me is was multiple codes indicating the need for a valve adjustment. They explained how it would cause the rough running and the lights going on and off as the vehicle’s computer tried to correct the issues. They also recommended a timing belt due to being in the area already and the age of the vehicle. We were thrilled to have a real and logical answer so quickly. The repairs were made, and the vehicle runs as if it were new. They could not find a draw on the battery and stated the relay I diagnosed/replaced must have been the issue. The stated the battery was no longer viable and I should consider having it changed. Well, its been a few weeks now and the vehicle still runs amazing!!! The battery has not failed after being left at my company parking lot for at least 8 days straight without being cranked. There is no rough running/idle! We are beyond pleased and have already used Genuine Car Care Center for new tiers on another vehicle. They have gained my business for life!!! Thank you to the professional staff and the technicians who are clearly well trained!!!

Great place to wash your car or truck

What you expect for city Auto Repair. Went in for easy brake pad change. Owner suggested needed whole front in to a cost of lil over $1,000. Asked for only left front side to be checked. Owner took all 4 tires off so he could charge me $53.00 for looking at the brakes and rotating my tires which I did not ask for. Theyll try to get you for anything they can. Best to support honest local shops. This is not one of those

Quick and easy review. Went in to get change for the car wash. I realized I only had $50 billThe guy that appeared to be a mechanic quickly without checking said I dont have change for that I said ok well I was going to be washing 3 cars here today he said well we dont have change for that . Another guy that I believe to be the Manager or quite possibly the owner standing nearby realized what was said and that I was about to leave said yea we can, we have it if not in the drawer we can get it He proceeded to get me the change for the car wash of which they now own.Why the bad review? Because of the what I consider poor attitude and willingness to not help by this one employee. I am 100% convinced if left to his own accord he would not of bothered to even try to make the change I needed. It seemed to bother him that I was even there.

Highly over priced, and out right liars. Went in to get brakes one set mind you for the rear. I go in and talk to them, I tell them I would like new ceramic pads installed, the guy proceeds to tell me he can’t give me ceramics, and that they “only offer semi-metallic because they are better”, which by the way if you didn’t know are cheaper and produce more dust than organic or ceramic. He then quotes me a price of 225 minimum for parts and labor for a single axel for sub par pads.

Cant say enough good stuff about these folks. Best customer service I have ever experienced in car care. Honest, fast, dependable! They even have a great payment plan if your repairs run a bit over what you can afford all at one time. I highly recommend them! They have been a blessing to a single woman like me and I never have to worry about my car getting me where I want to go.

I posted a negative review earlier, anyone who read that, please disregard. I posted it to the wrong business by mistake. Thankfully Gary the owner called me and we have remedied my mistake. Gary is a super nice guy and I will certainly be trying out their service soon. Avoid the Havoline down the street.

Very pleased with the customer service and staff at Genuine. Despite the overall price of my repair (replacement fuel pump) being on the high side, it can be overlooked considering how prompt they were to fix everything. Another repair shop told me they couldnt even look at my truck till Monday and this was on a Friday and Genuine was able to bring it in and finish the repair for pickup the following noon. The service offsets the cost. Would highly recommend. Thanks!

I called to get an estimate after another shop blatantly lied about the cost of repairs. Will gave me a quote on the phone to the penny and got me in the same day. They did the exact work I requested for exactly what they quoted in half the time they said! The waiting room is very nice and inviting, the staff is very nice and helpful, and they didnt try to sell me unnecessary services. Ill be bringing my cars here from now on!

I think Ive finally found my car place since moving to Kernersville over a year ago. I had my 2013 Ford focus at crossroads ford before, who quoted me nearly 550 dollars for a wheel hub bearing. Genuine nearly cut that price in half and it sounds just like a new car. These guys are very honest with you and they give a very thorough explanation for any work being done on your vehicle. They also work very fast. Its also hard to be bored in the waiting room as there is a childs play room, computers, and a fridge full of sodas. Ive been to many car shops in this area and genuine tops them all. Id recommend them to anyone. If you had a price quoted elsewhere that made you turn your head, give Genuine a shot they wont let you down.

Ive had many repairs over the years that were not necessarily inexpensive, but the value has been 2 cars running over 260k miles. These are vehicles that I trust to carry me safety, no matter what the distance might be.

I was really pleased with my experience today. They told me exactly what was wrong and gave me honest advice on what to do. I will most likely be going back the next time something goes wrong, which it will, because my car is a rusty old grandpa. :)Also, Ive been in a lot of mechanics waiting rooms (sadly) and this is the nicest one Ive ever been in. They had a TV, computers, even a little fridge with sodas, and a play area for small children. It really made the waiting experience more bearable.

I went in to get my brakes inspected. I had heard the indicator squeaking. Told me it was rust and had 25% left on the front. I was planning on getting new tires very soon too. They explained tires were bad and I agreed to replace 2 of the worst but they pushed for 4. I said no thanks and left. We drove all the to Florida with my brakes squeaking. I was also told I wouldnt pass inspection which I had just passed the month before. I replaced all 4 tires elsewhere. Told me to be safe when I left. Nice.

Because Ive had several negative interactions with car shops over the last two years (trying to convince me a six month old air filter was filthy and needed replacing, ect.), I had no regular spot to get a state inspection done. After looking at reviews of various places online, I decided to take a chance on Genuine Car Care. I was able to get an appointment within a hour, and was very pleasantly surprised when they actually took it back on time! The inspection was done in a timely manner, no one attempted to upsell me on parts, the interactions were professional and courteous-and I drove away a very happy customer. This was an inspection, not a repair, but based on this experience, I certainly intend to use them again! Thank you for a pleasant and professional experience.

The team at GCCC has excellent, friendly, fast, honest service and theyre very professional. Its very easy to schedule an appointment that works with my schedule. The waiting area is nice with a separate play area for the kiddies, free wifi, television and 2 computer stations for convenience.

Ive been using Genuine Car Service for a couple of years now. Very very satisfied with their honesty,integrity. They always make you feel special and their work is superb.

I took my truck in for the state inspection and was told that they would have to fail it unless I bought new tires. I felt pressured to purchase the tires, and felt that the use of my child as a bargaining chip was poor form. The clerk told me that obviously since I had a little one I would want the new tires for her safety. I did not purchase the tires and left with my failing inspection. I took the truck to two other shops who both said there was no reason I should fail inspection and have successfully had my truck inspected since.

The folks at Genuine Car Care Center have earned my loyalty.They always go above and beyond what is needed. Honesty and integrity is a core value with this company. I will ALWAYS recommend then to friends and family.

An hour wait for an inspection with no other customers waiting is definitely double the longest I have ever waited for an inspection. I know there are other vehicles being serviced but an hour for insoection and $17 for a tailight bulb is ridiculous.

Absolute great and quick service! I had called about two hours before closing to see if they could get me in for an inspection. I talked to Gary Fowler and he was very pleasant and helpful. He said I didnt need to make an appointment to just come on by. I walked in and met Gary at the front counter and he collected my keys and registration and told me where the waiting room was. Again he was pleasant and also easy going. I stepped into the waiting which was very nice. The room had comfortable seats, a TV up on the wall with access to the remote, free Wi-Fi, a few computers to use, magazines to read, a pot of coffee, a drink cooler with soda and water, and there was even a play room for folks with children. I sat down and started playing with my phone and my car was in the bay in about three minutes. After about five minutes or so Gary comes in and says that I need to get my power steering belt replaced to pass the inspection. That belt was on my to do list anyway so I had him take care of that. He even mentioned that while they were going to be replacing the power steering belt that my ac belt needed replacing too and that it wouldnt cost any extra labor to do that belt as well. That belt too was on my to do list. To top it off, Gary even took me out to my car and showed me the exact belts being replaced and how worn they were. Ive only had one other mechanic in my life to do that and he was my go to guy. It took about and hour or so to get all the work done. Gary came and got me when it was all done, went over everything that had been done, and paying was quick and easy. Gary even set me up for their free loyalty program. Overall, Im extremely happy with the trip and Gary was the face of the business so kudos to him. Ive found my new go to mechanics.

My name is Casey Van Arsdale and I have known the owner David Ciener for a couple of years now from previous association. I have developed a deep respect for his character as a man and completely trust that he would not steer me wrong, or any customer for that matter. I had my fiances battery replaced a few weeks ago and he mentioned the tires looked to be in rough shape. I am glad he had the sharp eye to notice this situation because I was unaware they were so worn. A couple of weeks after we began to worry about the state of the tires as well as the alignment of the vehicle. I am a disabled veteran and dont have much disposable income currently. I could have taken the car to walmart and gotten it fixed so to speak. Walmart would have used low mileage tires and it would have cost less, however my confidence in David and his staff cannot be replaced at this point. Don and David ended up putting 3 new 70000 mile tires on the car and got the alignment in order. I spent a bit more than I was prepared to at the time but have no question that they gave me superior service and installed high quality tires that will ensure I dont find myself in this situation again soon. Don contacted me several times during the service to let me know the state of the accompanying systems. I value these mens honest opinions in regards to what I needed to have done to ensure my fiance is safe on the road. There has never been a time in my dealings with Genuine car care that I felt anybody was trying to make a sale, rather providing expert input to educate me in areas I honestly lack the knowledge. I hope you all know how much I appreciate the way you have handled me every time I have visited. I have no doubts I am in the best hands possible and unless I break down 3 states away, I will be totally loyal to this shop. These guys have integrity and that is something is short supply, but high demand. Thank you all.

My truck broke down on a Sunday trip from Durham to the mountains, and I had it towed to Genuine Car Care Center. The ran a diagnostic report the first thing Monday, and the truck appeared to be okay, as it was just a flooded engine. When I picked my vehicle up, they refused to let me pay anything for their time and service.
