I needed to have my dealer installed 1 1/4” hitch removed and a 2” hitchInstalled. It all started with me calling you guys, to see if this work could be done. That’s where my correspondence with Lacey in your service department began. Lacey informed me that my hitch could be replaced with a 2” one. Also the dealer had cut, l thought was a unnecessary nought into my bumper. Lacey also informed me if necessary, the 2” receiver could be customized to fit in the bumper nought. After getting my rig on the lift for assessment. Your technician Felipe informed me via Lacey, that he could custom fit my existing hitch with a 2” receiver that would fit in the bumper nought. And that is just what Felipe did. These before and after pictures says it all. Today was another successful interaction with Torklift Central. Other than having to wait under a tent canopy during the 3-hour service (due to COVID-19 concerns), it was a great experience. Insofar as I can determine, the work was done well, on time, for slightly under the estimate, and by very pleasant and knowledgeable employees. Even though the location is some distance from my home, I believe it’s worth the drive. I can highly recommend this business.

I went to Torklift Central as I needed a hitch for my brand new Volkswagen ID4 Pro S, which did not have one. I mainly needed one to install a bike rack. The staff at Torklift Central were welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, and did an amazing job! I mostly worked with Lacey in the office, who set me up, showed me how the hitch worked, helped me set up my rack, and was just wonderful. But honestly, the whole team was amazing! They designed and installed a hitch for my car, and it looks like it was always there. I am very impressed and recommend to anyone in need of a hitch or any other service they offer to go check them out. I am very grateful I did!

Wow these folks not only know how to get it done right and quick but they are super nice. The location isn’t ideal for large rigs but they had no problem accomplishing the install. They did our custom hitch on our Airstream and it’s been great.

These guys did a *beautiful* custom installation on my 2016 MINI Cooper JCW. Because the car has dual, mid-mounted exhaust, getting the hitch receiver in required some engineering. I looked all around the country for a place that could do this car, but very few of them were willing to do custom work. I was almost ready to have the car trucked out to Georgia when I discovered these guys, only a 2.5 hour drive from my house. Jordan, Karen, and Drew took great care of me and the work came out looking much better than I had expected. Now my wife and I have two vehicles to transport our bikes with, which is mandatory for some of the point-to-point rides we do. Thanks Torklift, you guys are great!

Today we took our class A coach intoTorklift Kent to add equipment to our new 2020 tow vehicle. We also purchased the road master defender to keep the rock chips off of the tow vehicle. I am a multiple-time repeat customer of Torklift Central. They have never failed to provide excellent service in a timely manner. The desk staff is friendly, responsive and knowledgeable. My most recent visit was no different: from the first contact, Ben was very responsive to my inputs and provided the information and guidance I needed. He picked up the phone as we talked and checked availability of the parts required and ordered them on the spot. He briefed me as the work was being done and checked on the completed job -- which was done in less time than they estimated.

These people are the best! They helped me with a trailer hitch which works amazing and more resently a air bag system which also works great I had to wait for my truck to be done they put two people on it one from the counter to get me home sooner if you want the job done right this is the place to go

Went in today to get a set of revolution steps for my trailer. They were super helpful in identifying the right kit, and then loaded into my truck and showed me what to expect when installing and how to make adjustments. It was definitely worth driving out from the Eastside for good service.

I had the best experience at Torkliff central! Lacey B. helped me soon as I walked in and she was so kind! Within minutes she began working on my bike rack🙌🏽She and another member of Torkliff did the best job ever with my bike rack and I am very pleased. I highly recommend going there if you are in need of any of their services.

I took my 2015 Subaru Crosstrek in to have a tow hitch installed. All of the employees at the front desk were very helpful. They finished the work well ahead of the estimated time and did an excellent job! I would highly recommend this business to others without hesitation.

We ordered a full set of Torklift tie downs through a distributor weve used before and ordered parts for other trucks we had. We werent receiving adequate customer service from them and it was pretty evident there was lack of care and professionalism. My husband asked if they would call Torklift and they said they couldnt.. After that comment I was done and went straight to Torklift myself. When I called them, they answered. They didnt hesitate, they gave urgency and respect to our call. Within the same afternoon of calling them, they had our order ready to ship and provided tracking information! It delivered in less than a week and we are on schedule for our vacation! As extended customer service, they followed up making sure we received our shipment once it delivered. Thank you Torklift team for helping us. You went above and beyond!

I purchased my tie down / anchor kit by phone & picked it up here about 2 weeks ago. Yesterday I finally installed it DIY style and there was an issue with the parts and truck fitting together. The factory hitch was out of specs. I stopped by & talked to the great staff that helped me fix the problems.

Been in to torklift several times lately, and over the years. Never had a bad experience, and they almost always have what I need in stock, which is huge for me. But I have to give big props to Karen at torklift central in Kent. She knows her job, and the industry very well. Today she was a bystander listening to me ask a newer employee what I was after. The newer employee, and I where struggling to get on the same page. She stepped in without hesitation, knew exactly what I wanted, and went and got it for me. She has excellent customer service, and knows the industry. Huge thanks to her. On numerous occasions while in the store I have heard, and seen her help other customers, and other employees to get what they need, and accomplish their tasks. In a nutshell she is awesome!!! I came in to have my trailer plug tested because I wasnt able to get the lights to work on my trailer. After about a 10 minute diagnosis and 20 minute repair, I was ready to go! Not only did they fix a wire in my plug that was bad, they upgraded my plug with a better one that be disconnected much easier in the future if this same issue comes back. The service and knowledge at Torklift is second to none.

I decided to buy a hitch receiver for the front of our truck from Torklift rather than buy one on amazon and try installing it myself. Mainly because I was fearful of destroying the front air dam. Really glad I did. Labor was reasonable and I would have saved maybe $30 buying it online. Torklift did an outstanding job that looks great.

Great easy experience from calling to get an appointment scheduled all the way to the hitch install, they were hands down awesome.. I have a 2011 Mini Cooper clubman S and they weren’t sure if they could with dual exhaust but Ben did a little research and Justin made the magic happen.

I had a Ecohitch installed and was concerned about keeping the tow kick sensor intact on the 2021 RAV 4 XSE. Required a small trim of the bummer as I was aware and they did a great job.All out of site and mounted almost as high as factory.Torklift installed it to perfection.Well done! In and out in less than 2 hours, and now I can add my bike rack.Thank you! Couldnt be happier.

Nic is very friendly and helpful. Even though they do not have the bike rack I want, but he help me find the rack from REI and install it for me for free.

I called a couple rv places in Tacoma and all the ones I called couldn’t even schedule me in let alone even look at the hitch until the end of September. I called Torklift at 10am and the phone was answered by Nick at the Kent,WA location. I explained what problem I had with my Fastway Trunnion E2 hitch. He told me to drop by and he will look at it and see what they can do. I showed up an hour later and Nick took the hitch to the shop and few minutes later my problem was solved. This excellent service is what earns new customers. I’ll definitely be coming back to Torklift for my future trailer services. Thank you Nick.!

I was in desperate need of finding a proper trailer wiring harness for my vehicle. I called Torklift Central and Ben answered. He informed me that his computer said that he did not have my application but asked if I would be willing to wait while he checked with the shop personnel. After a little while he checked back in with me to let me know that he would have information within 2 minutes. Within 1 minute he told me he had good news. He put my name on the harness so that I could pick it up. Ben pulled me out of a serious bind by going above and beyond with customer service. The hitch did not take more than an hour to install. The business charged us extra two hours to install the hitch to our car.At the end of the day, business is quite simple. Build strong relationships with many different people and stay HONEST!!!!!Do not ask for Mathew or Nike!!! Especially Mathew!!!

This guys are amazing! I went to this shop to check the taillights of my trailer and they detected the problem in seconds, changed a couple of fuses and voila. The incredible thing was not how fast and professional they were, the impressive thing is that they did not charge me.

These guys are amazing!!! Got my truck ready for a camper and I had a new style gun safe that I needed to have mounted in the cab. They fabricated the mount, they worked collaboratively with me, even called me in to make certain it was what I was wanting. and it turned out AMAZING!!! 100% recommend these guys!!!!

Tork lift in Kent Washington is awesome. They repaired the electric cord that goes from the RV and the car at no charge. The service people were friendly and easy to work with. We highly recommend them.

I needed to get a trailer hitch installed on my van in the 2 days before I was supposed to leave town on a 10 day vacation so I could take by bike with me. Even though there werent any open appointment slots, Kyle was able to fit my installation in and I got the hitch installed. Hats off to a very customer oriented business. I would definitely use Torklift Central for any trailer hitch work that I needed to have done in the future.

I ordered a hitch from the dealer that showed up to long. I went to Torklift who I was recommended to. When I arrived the front staff was so pleasant and nice. I told them what I needed and within seconds the young lady in front took my part in back to see how long it would take. I figured I would need to leave it for a week or so. She retuned and said they are cutting it now. Can you stand by . 10 Minutes later they brought out my part freshly cut. When I asked ok how much is it they looked at me and smiled and said dont worry about it have a nice day. I Insisted to pay them and they said NO its ok have a great day. I intern said ok thank you but I would like to buy your staff lunch so I left them a $100.00 Bill even though I know they didnt want it. You guys rock! I initially called in to see if I could have my truck looked at because the power converter box for my trailer hookup was dead but there wasnt any availability. The front desk guys (I think I talked to Devin) knew exactly what I needed and offered to sell the part I needed since we couldnt be seen today. We needed this fixed asap so I brought in my dead converter box and they were able to confirm the replacement part would work and talked to me about how I could replace it. Everything went back together with minimal effort and our 4 way flat connector is receiving signals again! Thanks again Torklift, you really saved us a lot of headache today.

I had the pleasure of working with Karen at Torklift Central in Kent WA. My husband and I needed some front tie downs for our new camper and these were the only ones available in the country from what Jordan told me at the Torklift parent company. He actually located them for us. I called and Karen said that they generally dont do shipping from their store any longer but we are located in Battle Ground WA and it would have been a pretty long trip to go pick them up. So she got her staff to run the tie downs to Fed Ex and I got them the next day. She went above and beyond. GREAT customer service and fun to talk to on the phone. If you ever get a chance to work with Torklift Central, Ask for Karen. You wont be disappointed!

Forklift installed a license plate mount (called The Law) on my Tesla. Id recommend this mount to any Tesla owner as in connects to the grill and doesnt require screwing anything into the body. I am pretty sure Torklift has this product manufactured or has an exclusive. In terms of the installation, the employees of Torklift are very helpful and are tuned into social distancing. Easy to give 5 stars!

I want to start off by saying they deserve more then 5 stars. It’s an extremely long story but short version I called in a panic (literally verge of tears) needing help figuring out if the new truck I just purchased (had to purchase because current Tahoe could not pull) was able to tow the Trailer I had just purchased and they went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help me with out me ever stepping foot in their store. I am so grateful for the support and information they were able to give me. I can not express how impressed and thankful I am for their amazing customer service and will 100% use them for any of my needs in the future. Thank you thank you thank you, a million times!

Great place for quality work and honest information. Just had my first hitch put on my CRV; they installed it without any issues. Then picked up a new trailer and drove 60 miles home. No issues, smooth pull. So happy with this purchase!

Torklift Central was the only manufacturer I could find that made a 2” hitch for my 2018 Mazda 3. The hitch also didn’t show the crossbar which all others on the market did, so I was willing to pay the premium price.The hitch took a few weeks to ship. I ran into some issues at installation and reached out to their customer service and Ben helped me promptly. Hitch installed in under two hours and it looks great. Would buy another hitch from these folks without hesitation. Product and customer service were both great.

I had a hitch installed, service was great, and price on par with other similar services. I had called on on a Friday to put the order in, i got an appointment to install the hitch on a Monday, which is great!I cant give 5 stars due to the wait time they make everyone endure.The Hitch installation took the mechanic around 25-30 minutes total from the time he started, but yet, they give me a 2 hours appointment which ends up being mostly time to wait. I can tell there are many other frustrated clients also waiting a long time to be out.Normally i wouldnt complain about waiting, but with Corona and Social Distancing, i would think they want to limit the number of clients in the crowded waiting area.

Tork Lift hooked me up on 3 trucks now for hauling anything I need to with my camper.

Nick and the staff were awesome. We were passing through the area towing our 28 ft travel trailer and had an issue with loss of torque on some hitch bolts. I called about 90 minutes out and Nick said “come on by”. The shop was extremely busy but they fixed me up in about 35 minutes.... no charge..... and we proceeded on our way! Awesome job which solved a significant safety issue.

I called in to order their eco hitch, and they upsold me on their wire harness for 50$. When I received the parts, the hitch is amazing by the way, but the wire harness is a curt wire harness, not their own brand. That same wire harness is sold every where else for 30$. If they would have told me it was the curt one I would have ordered it from somewhere else for 20$ cheaper. . I contacted them to see if they could give me credit to their site or price match it, but they told me no. And if I was to just return it and buy it from somewhere else, I would have to pay for shipping back and get charged a 15% restocking fee. I even checked their site for the wire harness and it does not say its a curt wire harness, and they use the same part number just backwards. That to bad, I was really excited to give them a try, and I really like the hitch so far, but I think Ill just go with the factory trailer hitch and harness next time. At least Ill know what im getting up front.

I had ordered a B&W fifth wheel from another hitch place. The hitch was supposed to take a couple of week to arrive. After more than a three weeks with no hitch, no idea when it might show and another camping trip cancelled I called Torklift out of the blue. I asked if they somehow had the hitch in stock to my shock they did. I cancelled the order with the other place and drove down and got the hitch the same day. Now we are going camping this weekend. Went down to Torklift this morning as one of my airbags wouldn’t hold air, the tech checked it out and replaced the fill nozzle when I asked how much they said there was no charge so if you need anything to do with towing or hitches this is the place great costumer service and a great team to help you out.

Very professional, out sooner than expected.

Its good to see their in person service gets high marks as their online service is poor. My Tesla service guy recommended them and their price seemed competitive. Unfortunately, telephone customer service is abysmal. They missed three promised shipping dates (8/14, 8/21 and 8/28) and did not return phone calls as promised. To top it all off, Andrew all but called me a liar! Nice. You might want to think about not letting him answer the phone anymore!9/15 Update - I am increasing this review by one star. Kayla at Torklift did reach out to me after this review posted to discuss the service failures and offer a goodwill partial refund - which I declined but certainly do appreciate.

Have come here to get the ecohitch installed on 3 electric vehicles now. Nissan Leaf, Tesla Model S, and now Tesla Model 3. Very quick installation, very good quality, excellent customer care. Highly recommend!!

Drew and the rest of the team really got us out of a pickle when we broke an equalizer on our trailer on the way to an event in town. I was very impressed with the level of service i received at torklift in kent. i had purchased a new airstream and was (am) new to the whole process of setting up our family vehicle as a tow vehicle for it. from the moment julia answered the phone where she was able to help me determine that i needed a very important and specific brake controller, to my actual in-store experience working with nic where he was a wealth of information on every single detail of how to hook up not just the brake controller but also a lot of legacy hardware that came with the airstream, it was a great and high quality customer service! nic was patient with my many many questions about weight distribution arms, how to adjust them, and their impact on tongue weight and some serious issues i needed to consider regarding my setup and tongue weight specifically. drew in the mechanics bay was also very helpful and provided great extra info about all kinds of pro-level tips like not traveling with too much unnecessary water in tanks and topping off once you get to camp site. furthermore both drew and nic were super helpful in talking me thru some tradeoffs regarding whether i should continue with my existing tow vehicle or upgrade to a newer one. this friendliness, knowledgeability, and can do attitude was sustained thru out 2 in-store visits and multiple phone calls for followup. overall i am very impressed with the personnel at torklift and that speaks highly of their hiring and company culture. i will definitely recommend torklift in kent to friends and will be back again as a happy customer!

Took truck to get ramp fixed, these guys are awesome took it there in the morning and was done by afternoon they weren’t sure on getting it done the same day but they made it happen. I recommend these guys, great customer service too with everyone that works there give 10 stars
