My back seat got destroyed and I needed them to help me install a new one. They were able to find a creative solution and the results are great!! We took our 2016 Explorer in to Klaben Body Shop & Collision Center in Kent after hitting a deer, wow were we amazed at how good it looked when we got it back. Steve Workman did a great job communicating with us throughout the process. We changed to a black sport grill mid process, and last minute we remembered we had bought black badges for it about a year ago. When I asked if they could leave the blue Ford emblem off I was informed the OEM grill came with blue preinstalled. I got a call the next day from Steve Workman offering to have it removed before they installed the new grill. Our hood had bubbling on the edge and they made it look like brand new. We could not be more pleased with our experience the quality and service was better than we expected. This is the first time I have taken a vehicle in for insurance work and wanted to keep it after seeing the results.

My recently purchased 2018 Explorer Sport had bubbled paint along the edge of the hood. Brandon at Klaben Body Shop and Collision Center took control of the situation and quickly rectified the problem. Brandon provided a new OEM hood and expertly painted it to match my body paint color. His service was top notch, quick and efficient. He provided a loaner at my home in Canal Fulton and picked up my vehicle. I was involved in a accident on Route 8 on a Icy/Snowy Monday evening. Reached out to Brandon at Klaben Body Shop to see what could be done with my 2019 Kia Sportage that sustained damage to the right front which also set off my airbag. After inspecting my vehicle it was deemed a total loss, and unfortunately I had to purchase another vehicle. Dealing with Brandon was a breeze wrapping up my paperwork on my totaled vehicle and answering all the questions I had in regards to this process. I ended up going to Klaben and buying a Certified Pre-Owned Escape, then had brought it back to Klaben Body Shop so Brandon could have Steve Workman install some accessories on my vehicle. After getting in an accident in my Corvette, I was obviously in a very stressed and depressive mood. I called Klaben body shop and spoke to Brandon, he calmed me down and assured they would bring her back to life. I was able to speak in and work with them to find the best course of action with my insurance and everything worked out perfectly. Even was able to resurrect my aftermarket modifications to better than what i started with! When the car was finished i felt like a child looking at my car again, all full of excitement. They did an excellent job and Brandon really put my heart at ease with it all, very happy with what happened and almost glad I was in an accident. Very professional and helpful people!

I had a large project completed on my weekend toy. Nick Johnson was great to work with throughout the 3 month project. Nick is definitely one of my favorite people in Kent across all of the different businesses I have dealt with. I appreciate Nick and I consider him a friend, and I would definitely recommend Nick because he is customer oriented and extremely friendly and accommodating. Customer service was 10/10. Nick is the best. Labor performed and overall work done was 3/5. Bumper could’ve been prepped better before painting. When brought up to the shop, they tried to make it better, but couldn’t as it was already too late. I respect them trying to fix it but it could have been avoided if prepped properly before painting. Bumper fitment could have also been better but we ran into some issues with the aftermarket carbon fiber hood, which shop claims they did their best on the fitment, which I still question. Quarter panel was painted and turned out amazing for not being blended, but it could look better. I asked Klaben Body Shop if they would repaint the quarter panel and blend it and split the cost with me. Nick said he would which I believe him but the shop manager will not honor it. Mind you I spent $2000+ with Klaben just on labor not including my aftermarket parts that cost another $4000+. I was hopeful that the shop manager could split the quarter panel blending with me which would have been only a mere $300 which is nominal for Mr. Richard Klaben. This review would have been a 4/5 if my request would have been honored. Next month once weather gets nice, I plan on having the front bumper and hood fitment looked at by another shop and I am having the quarter panel repainted again by another shop because I think it can look better and I am currently not 100% happy with it. This will be the third time that I have the quarter panel painted and I just want to be happy with it once and for all. A lot of these things were out of Nick’s control and the quarter panel paint issue was on me for going against the shops advice on blending the paint versus panel painting. I would be 100% happy if shop would blend the quarter panel and split the cost with me. I prefer to go with them for my work but I would like for them to consider my request. Overall 10/10 with Nick and 3/5 on labor performed.

I was happy with the price and time frame to repaint my hood (stone-chip) but the best part was when I picked up my car and found they washed and buffed the entire car, even dressing the rims and tires. It really looks good and was a great bonus.

Unfortunately none of us want to deal with collision issues after an accident. We had our car towed to Klaben Collision in Kent and so glad we did!! Brandon helped us with the whole process and kept us informed with details and progress the whole way through!! This place did an excellent job on my truck. Looks like it did when I bought it. They are really top notch on the aluminium bodys. If Im ever in a fender bender again this will be the only place I consider. Steve Workman who handled my claim was amazing. The man is very professional and kept me updated constantly. I have used Klaben Body Shop from minor cleanup tasks to major work and I have never been less than fully happy with the results and in several occasions been shocked at how well they do. I will not go to any other body shop and, if and insurance company were not approving them (although I believe all do), I would be willing to pay the difference. I accidentally obliterated my Audi A4s passenger side mirror backing out of my garage on a cold, winter night. I knew right away that I would be taking my car to be repaired at Klaben Body Shop. They replaced the mirror and repainted the side of the car that got scratched from the mirror falling off. When I picked up my car when it was finished, I was amazed with how it looked BRAND NEW! I had a hit and run on my Nissan Rogue and called a few places locally, went for some estimates and figured I’d give Brandon a call at Klaben sonce I knew him when he was a salesman there. Took my car out there, got and estimate and well sure enough it was much lower then everyone else and including a rental! The body work looked so amazing I would return not to mention my car was completely detailed. It was well work the 40 min drive for me!

Do NOT come here. Got my car fixed here through insurance. Tire rim needed replaced after 4 months I got a flat tire and was told they an alignment has not been done and that is why my tire went flat has to take it back alignment took forever wasted my entire day. Then my tire pressure light stayed on and I had a squealing noise happening just turns out they never calibrated my sensors to make the light turn off and I while putting my tire back on they bent something that caused the squealing noise. Totally waste or time and left with more problems than I went in with.

This is my second experience with the body shop at Klaben and also the service department at the dealership. To say that the customer service is excellent is an understatement. I had taken my car elsewhere just to get the run around and nothing actually addressed and fixed. We are very particular about our cars and Artie and Mike made sure that the car was absolutely flawless. They called and kept me updated throughout the process and were 100%transparent about pricing. I wouldn’t hesitate to take any vehicle here in the future because of the amazing experience. Car repairs are costly and inconvenient but they made it such an easy and stress free process.

Whenever I have needed any body work done on my cars, I have gone to Klaben Auto Body in Kent. My car has always come back to me looking brand new and it was completed in a timely manner. Steve is my go to man there because he is very knowledgeable, polite, and helpful. They have even delivered my completed car to my home when my schedule didnt give me time to pick It up. State Farm has recommended this shop and I have never been disappointed. I always joke when leaving with my car that I hope I dont see them for a long time (lol) but if I do need work done I know they will be there to give me great service.

Came to the Body Shop after an accident. They handled almost everything for me and made the transition from dropping my car off to getting the rental, and then back to my car incredibly smooth. Nick went through everything clearly and made sure I knew how the process would go. He kept in communication with me and my car was done a day earlier than expected. I never felt pressured into spending more money or talked down to (which has happened at other {non-Klaben} repair shops). The paint job is near flawless. Overall a very wonderful experience despite having a damaged car.

I would definitely recommend them for body work insurance claims.Lesson learned though- as a customer, ask if they changed any settings in the car when I pick it up. My dash lights wouldnt turn on when the lights were on. Spent 15 mins reading the manual (being car illiterate).One google search later, we realized the light for the cluster was on our trip switch.
